[Resolved]  Honda City — no value of customer

There is a interesting story between two:-
· One who is paying money to a company to getting trouble.
· Second who sitting in AC room and doing experiment on his vehicle.


I am having a problem in the AC of my car from 15 days. For solved out this problem I repaired my car from Honda authorized service center i.e. COURTSEY HONDA LALLY AUTOMOBILES PVT. LTD. WAZIR PUR INDUSTRAL AREA DELHI-52 (INDIA). But I don’t think so that my first visit to this authorized service center becomes a big trouble for me and also for my car. I explained each and every thing date by date.


Date: 25 May 2009
On this day I visited first time to courtesy Honda and I attended by Mr. Abhay Sharma. After checking the car he advised me for complete service of AC and for filling AC gas its all cost about Rs[protected] and to give delivery of car by evening. In evening I took delivery of my car and paid Rs 2672.00/- against invoice no-901407 (includes Rs 245.54 of another part not related to AC).
For 2-3 days AC was running ok but after that the AC stops working. After contact to Mr. Abhay Sharma he advised me to rechecked the car in workshop.

Date: 28 May 2009
I went again to workshop and hand over the car to Mr. Abhay Sharma for solved out the problem and diagnose the car in proper way. In afternoon he contact me and said AC main pipe nut is loose from where gas had been leaked and I tight this nut and I am satisfied now you may take delivery by evening.
But after 2-3 days same condition of AC would be there which was on first day. Again I contact him and again he advised to recheck the car.

Date: 07 June 2009
I dropped my car to workshop on this day. After two hours he reply that Main pipe line is faulty it had to be changed but now we don’t have it in my stock we placed the order to company it may take 3-4 days in meanwhile we filled gas in AC for temporary purpose and sent the car by evening at your door step. But they do not done any job it doesn’t matter.

We are suffering from the hot summer on those days but I think this is a part of good service given by an authorized service center to its customer.

They picked the car from my home and send back by evening after changing the main pipe and also send the old pipe as salvage. They charged Rs 2292.00/- against invoice no-902146.
But after 3 days the same condition of AC is which was on the first day. Again I contact Mr.Abhay Sharma and he accuse that you don’t have given me enough time to check the car AC. If I don’t give enough time to him so what are they doing with my car by three visits?
It means that the main pipe is not faulty they have changed it to make money and tilting the pocket of customer. Lets go

Date: 22 JUNE 2009
Their driver picked the car from my home on 22nd. They kept the car for 4 days and gave no response to me about my car. When I asked they told me that we are checking your car, don’t disturb us; we are also having a lot of works.
When I complaint to HONDA 121 customer care (communication had been recorded with number[protected] on 25th they took action in hurry and changed the two parts of AC (clutch coil 38900-PWJ-Z01 AND 38924-REA-901).
Mr. J.R. IYER service head of Courtesy Honda contact me and said I checked the car personally AC is working properly and we sent your car tomorrow i.e. 26th
About payment of bill I accused to pay bill after my satisfaction or after one week to check the problem whether it solve out or not.
But I don’t need to wait for one week. After two days car AC system again failed its mean they are doing only experiment on car nothing else.
After five times, I got hyper and refused to present my car in workshop so they sent a technician to my residence but he failed to judge the real problem. When we again complaint to Honda 121 on 1st July Mr. Iyer requested me to attend the car in workshop for last time and I think a senior man who cross the age of 60 in automobiles they have a lot of experience but I am wrong he have experience only how to make money by changing a correct part.
Each and every time they are only thinking to make money not about the satisfaction of customers.

Date: 07 JULY 2009
I sent my car to workshop for last time but I got wondered when they said there is problem with cooling coil and they are ready to change another parts of my car. After complaint again and again to Honda 121 they contact me and said Honda are sending their engineers for check your car please wait for one day. On 8th July Mr.Iyer called me and said gas was leaking from suction nut we tightened it and also wants to invites you to take test drive at workshop. After test drive when I asked for delivery Mr.Iyer said this a department of Ms.Laxmi and she said first pay the bill and then take the delivery of car. I am not satisfied from their service, works and commitments so I wants to clear their payment after 4-5 days and after driving my car 100 km. But she refused to deliver my car without payment. When I asked to Mr. Iyer why he changed those parts which are not faulty he said THIS IS HONDA COMPANY POLICY AND INSTRUCTION TO CHANGE ALL PARTS ONE BY ONE WHETHER THEY ARE FAULTY OR NOT UNTILL YOU SOLVE OUT THE PROBLEM AND IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE ENTIRE SYSTEM OF AC SO YOU CAN BUT DON’T THINK ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AND HIS POCKET. I get shocked when I listen it. I called to Honda 121 about delivery so they said we are not involved physically in company policy about payment. So I had to give payment of Rs 10530.00/- against invoice no-902307 I am ready to forget everything whatever happens in workshop and to be happy, But this happiness only for one week. After one week AC of my car stops working and I complaint at Honda 121 on 16 July. No action is taken on this complaint till I writing this mail to you
I want to ask some question after this whole incident.

1-IS THIS POLICY IS REALLY YOUR’S WHICH IS SAID BY MR IYER?
2-DO YOU NOT NEED ANY TYPE OF CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION?
3-DO YOU THINK THAT CUSTOMER WILL USE A HONDA VEHICLE OR RECOMMENDED TO
OTHER AFTER THIS WHOLE INCIDENT?
4-For which part of my car I had to pay, for main pipe or for clutch coil in your opinion.
MY VIEWS:
I never used Honda vehicle in future after this whole incident and do not recommend it to other and there is lot customers who are suffering from this type of service given by authorized dealers.

You wrote each incidence datewise and pointing out every details, but some points made me feel that there must be something missing in your story or you can say part of the story is fabricated. her are some points which i noted

1. You have not mentioned the CAR MANUFACTURING year and model. Its very important before writing any complaint on net because we dont you are you using the new car or having some old car of 6-8 years old.

2. You have not mentioned about the ENGINE condition or any other previous problem in your car. You wrote down the 2 page letter but nowher mentioned about the car condition like "my car till date never have any problem with a/c etc"

Its seems that you are hiding some basic facts about your car condition and thats the only reason that you have not mentioned in your complaints. A/c system is dependednt on several system which included ENGINE conditions also.

I am writing my views as you asked 4 questions:

1-IS THIS POLICY IS REALLY YOUR’S WHICH IS SAID BY MR IYER?
Honda POLICY is do not repair parts, replaced it. Its not honda policy its a policy of all comapnies even insurance cos, pay for replacement of parts. If your A/c system is too old and not matained by you peoperly than all knowldgable person will say, REPLACE IT.
2-DO YOU NOT NEED ANY TYPE OF CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION?
Yes we need it, but we should exercise our rights also, Did you mentioned anywhere in your complaint that the part which were changed are OK and not damaged? If they are not damaged then you have fullright to take action.

3-DO YOU THINK THAT CUSTOMER WILL USE A HONDA VEHICLE OR RECOMMENDED TO
OTHER AFTER THIS WHOLE INCIDENT?
Yes, we should, Honda is a good company and these incidence can occur but as a good customer we have to go for solutions.

4-For which part of my car I had to pay, for main pipe or for clutch coil in your opinion.

Have you checked the PIPE and old clutch oil condition, is it OK, if its ok you can ask for refunbd.

in my view if those parts are fualty which are changed by dealer so the problem will be solved but it not so dealer is only making money and harrass the customer
if in future honda keeps like this so definately no would to prefer or loves honda
