[Resolved]  HONDA/eterno — Non availability of Parts & poor service

I am owing a Honda Eterno scooter bearing registration no. MH 01 QA 9109 purchased from your dealer M/s Om Sai Autoworld having its showroom and workshop at Mahim Causeway, Reti Bunder, Near St.Micheal Church, Mahim, Mumbai - 400 016, India Tel. No. 24448787.

I had taken appointment for paid service on 01.04.09 and given time of 8.30am. On reaching the workshop i was given a token and asked to wait. There was only one staff who was attending the customers coming and they had nearly booked in my opinion more than 75 scooters for servicing on that particular day. I had to wait for nearly 2 hours for my turn to come to make a job sheet.

In the job sheet no.N30019 dtd. 01.04.09 i had clearly mentioned that my front shock obsorber has to be replaced and had requested for replacement of tyres also.

I get a call in the evening around 4 pm stating that my scooter is ready for delivery and to come and collect the same. As i was out i had sent my son to collect the delivery and when i saw the invoice the shock absorber and the tyres were not changed and the reason given was that there were no stocks available.

Firstly one has to wait for hours to gether for a job sheet to be made and at the end of the day the scooter is delivered to the customer without attending to the complaints for which the scooter has been given in the workshop. This is rediculous and not expected out of a reputed Manufacturer like Honda.

Also please advice how many scooters can be serviced in a day in a workshop which is so small that the scooters and bykes have to be parked outside as no parking space is available inside, what justice the authorised service centre can give to the customer is a doubt.

Request kindly look into this matter and would be obliged if you give feedback on my above complaint.
