[Resolved]  Housefull International — Damaged products

One of the worst that I have come across.

I bought the products on february 17, 2013, the salesman Mr. Satyajeet told me he will deliver the products on March 11, 2013. I was not available so i asked him to deliver it later. So the delivery was fixed for March 17th. The products were delivered on 18th March, 2013 eventhough it was out for delivery on 17th March but the carpenter was not available hence the goods were assembled on 19th March.

While the goods were being assembled it was noticed that the glass doors of the kitchen cabinet were damaged and could'nt be fixed. The base unit of the 3 door wardrobe was missing hence the doors of the wardrobe could'nt not be fixed.

The carpenter was then asked not to assemble the furniture as i did not want the damaged furniture. The carpenter said that the replacement of the damaged goods will only be done. He called the assembly manager Mr. Ravi and informed that the furniture was damaged. Mr. Ravi said that he will deliver the damaged goods in a week. I also spoke to Mr. Ravi and insisted if it was to take a week I do not need the furniture. I was promised that the missing pieces and the damaged piece will be fixed by 22nd March, This was promised by the Assembly Manager Mr. Ravi. The products were not dispatched on 22nd March.

When i called up the customer care department one Ms. Silvia was following it up and she told me that it will sent on Sunday. The products did not come by Sunday. When i called up on Monday, Mr.Ravi does not have the decency or has the ethics to talk over the phone to the customer or even respond to the calls. Ms. Silvia just doesnt want to help as she only gives false promises saying that it will delivered today, tomorrow which is disgusting. She doesnt even give the contact numbers of the seniors or escalate the matter. Then Mr. Prashant calls to say that the product cannot be delivered as it is not in stock. When asked for explanation he doesnt give proper explanation starts abusing and when i give him a befitting reply in the same language he hangs up. One of the most abusive conversation that I had in the recent times and Mr. Prashant realised that he is not match for me.

After i repeatedly call again one Mr. Rajesh who says he manages the carpenters department says that the pieces need to be imported from Malaysia hence the delay. I know this was just a GOLI... and was just trying to buy time and calm me down. He again requested for 2 days and says he will be responsible if the goods are not delivered.

Now my question is what kind of irresponsible people has Housefull staffed who cannot own up anything and take the customer for granted. When the customer has payed up in full thats the reason why Housefull is taking its own sweet time and harassing the customer. The next course of action is going public so that everybody knows this is how Housefull cheats its customers by giving defective furnitures and enjoys in harassing their customer, probably ignoring the fact that it is the customers money that they are enjoying on.

HOUSE FULL INTERNATIONAL — PATHETIC QUALITY & CUSTOMER SERVICE- PHOTO UPLOADED, SEE IT YOURSELF!!

I placed an order one month in advance just to avoid any delay...my delivery was scheduled for 19 of nov.. i informed them well in advance that i have a party at 21 so i want everything before that.. i purchased goods worth 60 K in one go from house full.. but was felling so helpless after placing my order.. after so many phone calls & personal visit i got my goods delivered much after the scheduled date.. that too not all, they just delivered half of the stuff and said half in not in stock.. then after waiting for 4-5 days finally i got remaining stuff but this time it was not what i ordered!!.. he is delivering something which i have not ordered!! and arguing with me that company doesn't deliver wrong thing &. i must have ordered that! finally after speaking to their seniors they agreed their mistake... . that is not enough.. it is hardly 5 months and my bed i.e. CADIZ BEDROOM SET is literally broken into two!! screws from one side are all loosed & it is of no use to me.. i have uploaded pic of my broken bed on this link c it your self! -- http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/7308/housefulldahisar.jpg i am warning all those who are planning to buy any stuff from them.. BEWARE ... i am trying there ph no but no one ever picks up phone which is provided on thr website i.e. Tel.[protected], 29451801 .. if they are giving these types of services in a city like mumbai then i really fell pity about all those small towns customers where they their branches... I have lost all my faith in this company & i seriously dont want any consumer to fall prey to them.. AFTER ALL IT IS A HARD EARNED MONEY..- THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND THIS--- PRATEEK

HOUSE FULL INTERNATIONAL — Damaged Piece & Wrong Piece Delivered

We had ordered a Shoe Rack & Wall Unit from Houseful International, Mega Mall, Oshiwara Andheri west, Goods were delivered after 6 days, when the technician came install the furniture & opened the packets, we learnt that there was a damaged piece & some other wall unit was delivered.
We tried calling them but no one answers the calls, nor any one attends the complaint.
The faulty goods are lying at my hose since 7 days & none of them even bothers to collect it & replace it.
We tried all means to get in touch with them, their consumer helpline are ringing & no one lifts up the phone.

Subject: Delay in Installation of Housefull Product
To whomsoever it may concern,

We had purchased "Spectrum Queen-size Bed" with HDC No. 1009/2013/667 from Palm Beach Galleria Mall store -Vashi on 03.03.2013 at 7:30 pm which was delivered to us on date 11.03.2013 at 3:30 pm. As mentioned in the delivery challan, the installation was supposed to be done within 48 hrs of delivery by the authorized expert technician from M/s Housefull. The suitable timing for assembly/installation was decided mutually i.e. on 13.03.2013 by the Housefull technician & me, however he was unable to come citing "distance to travel" problem. After this M/s Housefull sent their store sales persons to assemble the product.
They arrived at our place only at 8:30 pm on 13.03.2013 after which they started the installation. They tried to assemble the product for 2 long hours till 10:30 pm, but were unable to install it cleanly & completely. The fault diagnosed by them was "Hole mismatch in Left side panel from Head board".
In the process, 02 nos M8 x 70 screws were also damaged. The same has been written & signed by me on their copy of delivery challan. I was given a verbal assurance by them that the expert technician/carpenter shall come on 14.03.2013 after giving me a tele-call.
But despite waiting till 6 pm on 14.03.2013, I had not received a single call from any technician regarding the matter, after which I called up on the customer care no. I was told that the technician can be sent to re-check the condition of the product only on 15.03.2013. I took up this matter with the Vashi store where again I was told that the technician will come on 16.03.2013 (i.e. approximately 120 hrs after product delivery).

There is complete difference in what you assure & what you deliver to the customer. Now it has been almost two weeks since I purchased the product & I am still unable to use the product. The product, though remains partially assembled as left by the Housefull sales persons thus acquiring a lot of space in my house. I have been personally following up with the assembly co-ordination team regarding this matter and while there have been assurances, there is no action from them. This in turn has been affecting my work schedule as well as my personal life.

Please confirm whether it is possible for you to get this installation done on 15.03.2013 else suggest what should I do with this product.
