i purchased a hp-compaq desktop CQ3040IL some 4 months back with 3 years warranty. but from the first date the PC is having some specific problems.
1. the lcd monitor is having a green spot.
2. the monitor speaker is having very low sound.
3. the DVD drive is having abnormally long access time.
on calling the company helpline, the staff tried to make me understand that those are not problems but standard behaviour. after much discussion he agreed to send the service engineer.
the service engineer after checking the set also said the same word.
finally i contacted the company helpline & asked them to furnish which specification (ANSI, DIN, ISO )they are following for finished product, which he failed to forward me.
is they are covering all their shortcomings in their products as 'standard behaviour'? or they are making a farce of the 3 year warranty? Was this information helpful? |
