battery draining at sleep mode from 100 to 0 in 6 hrs

I purchased new AI laptop fd1254tu from HP store Karnal, at initially also there was no power in laptop battery while opening from box. after i configured my Microsoft id and charged laptop 100 %. After i removed charging plug and flap lip down around 10 pm night. In morning 6 am, battery goes 0 %. It goes continuously 4 to 5 days. HP support change battery in laptop. After that one night is going OK, after 2nd night it problems occurs agains....

Suggested wrong product by HP care executive

I ordered a printer head on December 4th based on the recommendation of an HP customer care executive. Unfortunately, the part is not compatible with my printer. Sir/ Madam,
The undersigned is a consumer as defined under Consumer Protection Act-1986 as we have purchased the said laptop (goods/services) from you vide your Invoice No S2223/138 dated 9th July 2024 by paying an amount of Rs
44, 250.00 (Forty-Four Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Only)
The said product/service is not up to the mark due to the following defect: (Mention the complete defect)
BRIEF DIARY OF EVENTS:
1) 30 days within the purchase of the said laptop, frequent repeated problems had been noticed which has been shared with HP. The problems noticed were black patching marks on screens, glitching and sticking of pictures during running, a series of parallel strips with different colours along the screens, malfunctioning of desktop, stoppage of cooling fan & ultimately total stoppage of lap top in spite of sufficient power as noticed after restart.
2) Communicate the HP Customer Care. The 1st Service Visit from HP Side had been carried out on 19th Sep, 24. One day before i.e. on 18th September 2024 the said Laptop was checked online by HP Service Team. All mentioned problems had been shared. HP had come into a conclusion through their long ONLINE Test that the Key Board is faulty and needs replacement.
3) The above online test has been shared with the 1st Service technician during his visit. But irony was that the 1st Service Technician didn’t find anything wrong and he passed an ample time at least 5 hrs on checking the said laptop and ultimately went away without any conclusion. But the problem remains continued and came at a random stage.
4) It was too shocking to note that the 1st CASE (Case No: [protected]) has been closed arbitrary by HP Authorities without the consent of the Consumer thus violating the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
5) Again, approached HP and the next Service visit was conducted by them on 30th October, 2024 ( Case Id [protected]).All the same points had been checked by the HP Service Technician this time too, but not a single solution comes out.
6) Things had been delayed day after day due to utter unprofessionalism by the concerned representatives from HP in spite of our frequent approach
7) At these stages a fake propaganda was being ran by the HP Authorized Service Partner from Gujarat State, PC Infotech Solution stating that Consumer didn’t ready to allow PC Infotech for service ! This had been shared by Bishwa Prakash Pati from Service Head during our telephonic conversation on 23rd November 2024.
8) After facing all these unwanted circumstances, I myself took the initiatives and handover the laptop at your Service Centre in Ahmedabad on 26th October 2024 vide the Case ID [protected]. Initial demand of PC Infotech was to handover the laptop at least for 4 days for complete resolution which I’d agreed.
9) Then I received the said laptop from PC Infotech on 2nd November 2024 after their complete service as claimed.
But misfortunate to share that the same repeated problems had been noticed on the 1st week of January 2025.The screen blackened from time to time, glitching & sticking of videos, frequent disappearances of cursor pointer during MS Word/Windows work, stoppages of cooling fan from now & then and at the end ultimately sudden stoppages Laptop in spite of sufficient power as shown later on during restart.
The above said act on your part has caused us great loss and damage of my whole education & 10th CBSE Online Board examination besides mental tension, trauma and inconvenience and loss of value of money. You are hereby asked to replace/refund the said goods/services plus compensation immediately within one week of receipt of this notice failing which the undersigned shall be free to launch legal proceedings against your act o[censored]nfair trade practice and deficiency of services and shall seek the refund the amount already paid to you with interest and total damages for which you shall be liable.

      I purchased an HP Smart Tank 585 printer, and it stopped working due to a carriage belt issue. I raised a complaint with HP Support on 4th February 2025 (Case No: [protected]), but even after multiple follow-ups, the issue remains unresolved.

      Key issues I faced:

      No timely response: HP has been delaying the process, and I have received only false promises.
      No repair action: An HP engineer visited but did not bring the required part, causing further delay.
      No quotation received: HP promised to send a quotation for paid repair, but even after several days, I have received nothing.
      Business loss: I run a small cyber café in a rural area, and my business is suffering because my printer is not working.
      I demand immediate action from HP. If this issue is not resolved ASAP, I will escalate it further through social media, legal action, and other consumer protection channels.

      HP India must be held accountable for poor service and negligence.

          Dear HP Customer Service,

          I am writing to urgently request assistance in resolving a series of ongoing and unresolved issues with my HP laptop. Despite numerous follow-ups, complaints, and daily calls over the past three weeks, I have not received any meaningful resolution. The handling of my case has been extremely frustrating, with significant delays, poor service, and a lack of accountability. I am requesting immediate attention to the following core issues:

          Core Issues:
          Black Screen and Resolution Change:

          Issue Description: Every time I plug in my charger, the screen goes black for a second, and the resolution changes. This issue has been persistent and highly disruptive. I’ve had to manually reset the resolution each time, and despite reporting this problem several times, it remains unresolved.
          On-Screen Camera Freezing:

          Issue Description: The on-screen camera frequently freezes or pauses during video calls, despite a stable internet connection. This has made the camera unreliable and unusable for work-related meetings and calls.
          Impact: The issue severely affects my ability to conduct professional meetings and needs to be addressed immediately.
          Excessive Heating:

          Issue Description: The laptop heats up significantly even during basic tasks such as browsing or document editing, affecting performance and raising concerns about long-term hardware damage.
          Storage and System Lag:

          Issue Description: There is a storage issue that causes system lag after downloading files. This severely affects performance, especially when dealing with large files or running multiple applications.
          Impact: This lag has severely impacted my productivity, making the laptop almost unusable during file-heavy tasks.
          Screen Glitches and Lines:

          Issue Description: At times, the screen displays glitches, with random lines appearing across it. This visual disruption impacts the display’s usability and suggests a deeper hardware issue that has not been properly investigated.
          Cursor Not Working After Motherboard Change:

          Issue Description: After an ill-advised motherboard change, the cursor on my laptop stopped working entirely. This issue has caused extreme inconvenience in my day-to-day work, and despite multiple complaints, it remains unresolved.
          Previous Service Issues:
          In addition to the core problems with the laptop, I have faced several unacceptable issues with the service provided:

          Unreasonable Delays and Unprofessional Service Agent:

          Delayed Service: It took 1.5 weeks for a service agent to visit me, which is far too long considering the critical nature of my laptop’s issues.
          Unprofessional Behavior: The service agent who came after the long delay displayed very unprofessional behavior. All he seemed to care about was leaving as soon as possible, rather than addressing the issues properly.
          Gave Wrong Address and Denied Service: The agent provided me with the wrong address when I offered to visit him to get the laptop checked, and also gave me incorrect timings for the service center’s opening hours, further delaying any resolution. As a result, I was unable to get my laptop checked properly.
          Manipulation of Issue Resolution:

          Misrepresentation: On several occasions, your service team has misrepresented my statements or provided misleading updates, claiming that the issue was resolved when it clearly was not.
          Incomplete Fixes: The service team has attempted superficial fixes (e. g., checking software) that did not address the actual problems, yet these were marked as “resolved.”
          Irrelevant Repairs Suggested:

          Unnecessary Actions: Instead of addressing the core issues, irrelevant and unnecessary repair suggestions were made, which only delayed the resolution further. This has wasted time and effort.
          Lack of Focus: It appears there is a lack of focus or technical understanding on resolving the real issues, leading to further delays and confusion.
          Poor Communication and Lack of Accountability:

          Unresponsive Service Center: The city service center has been difficult to contact, and when I did attempt to visit the center based on the service agent’s instructions, I was provided with incorrect information, causing further delays.
          No Ownership: There has been no accountability from your team regarding these issues. Responses have been vague and unsatisfactory, with no clear commitment to resolving the core problems.
          Emotional Stress and Frustration:

          Emotional Toll: The combination of delayed responses, incorrect information, and poor service has caused significant stress. It is emotionally exhausting to continually escalate the matter and follow up with no results.
          Diminished Trust: My trust in HP’s customer service has been severely damaged due to the unprofessional handling of this case. I am now questioning whether I can rely on HP support moving forward.
          Requested Action:
          I expect an immediate resolution to these problems. The following steps should be taken without any further delay:

          Assign a qualified technician who is fully briefed on the core issues and capable of providing proper solutions.
          I require timely updates on the status of each issue, without the need for constant follow-ups on my part.
          Focus on addressing the root causes of the issues — especially the cursor malfunction, black screen, and screen glitches — without suggesting irrelevant repairs.
          Ensure that professional service agents are dispatched, who are genuinely interested in solving the issues rather than simply finishing the visit as quickly as possible.
          This situation has been ongoing for far too long, and I expect that it will now be handled with the urgency and professionalism it deserves.
