[Resolved]  HP Notebook 6710b — warranty issue, adapter not in working condition

My case Id [protected] for replacement of Adpoter.

Kindly note that the case was forwarded to Digitech e services. They have asked for the supporting document of purchase of my Laptop ( having Sl. No 7502W7B) and the letter of warranty for three years issued by hp. Everything was provided to Digitech. So far adopter has not been replaced and I was told the matter has been taken up with hp Bangalore

History and Complaint

I am working with Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL). SAIL issued tender for purchase of Laptop for its employee. PC Solutions Pvt. Ltd, 12 Sant Nagar, New Delhi was selected as L-1 bidder for supply of 6710 b Laptops to SAIL with three years on site warranty on the product. The letter to this effect, issued by hp gurgaon to SAIL, was submitted to Digitech. The letter of warranty was issued by Shri Adarsh Sahu of hp gurgaon ( ph.+[protected], Fax[protected]

It is really sad to say that the adopter provided with the laptop does not last more than 3 months and have already been replaced 4 times within one year of my purchase i.e 22.2.08. There were also lot of problems with the Laptop which have been sorted by hp. It speaks about the quality of the product by hp.

Beside that even telling everytime while lodging the complaint that this PC is having warranty of 3 years, the data is never updated. Neither the information is provided to your data centre either by your Gurgaon office and nor by PC Solutions Pvt. REQUEST

I have not been able to use the laptop from the last one week and it appears no one is bothered to help. SAIL is a big organisation. We have purchased laptop in bulk. If this is state of affair of hp that no one has updated there record and there is no proper communication amoungst their own offices/dealers, the customer is bound to suffer.

It is requested that the matter may be looked into and I may be informed about the outcome.

HP Notebook 6710b — HP laptop service " a bad experience"

On February 25th, 2010 i submitted my laptop to HP service center in Gurgaon near sector 14.Its been a month haven't got my issues resolved.and yet don't know when will the issues will get resolved .this caused me great problem,delayed me with my work and only i suffered because of the delay caused by HP.
