[Resolved] HP / Pendrive (8gb) — Dysfunctional pen drive replacement pending even after two-weeks-time | |||
Sir SUBJECT: Complaint regarding non-replacement of HP-Pen Drive (8GB) after a span of more than two weeks I would like to bring to your notice the embarrassment/humiliation undergone for seeking replacement of HP Pen Drive at ‘Digital World’ store on 09.02.2011. I bought an 8GB HP Pendrive from Digital World dealer on 09.08.2010. The invoice no. is 3104, TIN Number: [protected]. The product stopped functioning after a period of about 5 months. Since the product was under 2-years warranty period, so I went to the ‘Digital World’ on 05.02.2011 to get replacement. The owner checked the product and asked me to come on Monday i.e. 07.02.2011. When I called the dealer - Digital World on Tuesday, anticipating that the product may not have come due to dilly-dallying which is often observed in India, the person received my call in a very unprofessional way and asked me in a very rude manner to come on Wednesday after 11AM. When I went to get the replacement on Wednesday along with the bill at 8PM in the evening, the Digital World owner told me that the service centre closes at 5 PM, so replacement can not be given. He asked me to come some other day, and gave me his cell number (written behind the invoice). When I enquired on Thursday 10.02.2011 at 0730PM on his cell no. [protected] about the replacement of my pendrive, again the dealer picked the phone in a very unprofessional way, spoke in a rude manner and asked me to confirm on Saturday i.e. 12.02.2011 and cancelled the call in an unprofessional way, without intimating me of the time. He had switched off the cell, when I made another call just to confirm the time to meet him on Saturday. Later after half a dozen no. of calls at the same no., the person who picked up my call said the intimation has not been received from the company, and asked me to confirm on Monday i.e. 14.02.2011. Today, 15.02.2011 I asked the dealer, if the replacement of hp Pendrive has arrived, to my utter dismay and indignation the dealer asked me to confirm again on Friday, 18.02.2011. This is to remind you that the dealer shows abject unprofessionalism with his customers and lacks good communication skills. I was shocked to observe such an appalling and callous attitude of this dealer towards his customers, which not only spoils his reputation but also tantamount to tarnishing a company's reputation. I urge you look into the matter and take appropriate action against the concerned dealer and demand adequate compensation for the sheer humiliation and embarrassment faced and undergone by the customer in the past few days. I doubt a prompt and immediate replacement of my hp pendrive even after undergoing this embarrassing experience at the ‘Digital World’ dealer's store.
