ICFAI University — refund of amount

i joined distance learning MBA 1 yr before & i paid an amount of 84,500 as fees.. As per the prospectus, it's stated that if a candidate failed to meet his eligibility criteria, his application will be cancelled and money will be refunded afer deducting some admission fees. and also I was told at the first itself that training fees is refundable. Now i dont have the eligibility criteria. I'd submitted them the documents to prove tat i didn complete my graduation. still they are not ready to refund the fees. So kindly consider my matter n help me to get it refunded so tat it'll be of great help to me

I am confused; you claim that you have not completed graduation but joined MBA program, knowing graduation as eligibility criteria for enrollment. Why did you apply in the first place when you are aware of these facts? The issue seems ridiculous.

I always hear Tripura or Dehradun, established as private universities through state legislation and also recognized by UGC. Hence continuing in the course should not be problem.

I fully agree that ICFAI is fast selling on and marketing education.Very recently I asked ICFAI NOT TO PRESS MY PDC FOR WANT OF SUFFICIENT BALANCE.Since then I have received several phone calls from several places in India from ICFAI managed people to ensure immediate payment.Otherwise they have also threatened to see me in court of law for dishonour of cheque and keep on calling me to make immediate payments.Though I have already intimated them not to press my cheques for clearance and asked my bankers to stop payments.I request UGC to immediate interfere into the matter order detailed ENQUIRY.

I am Manmohan I enrolled myself for MBA through correspondense ICFAI but due to flexible movement I am continue to this course I made request to that please refund my amount after deducting the expenses bear by ICFAI on me from Rs 85, 000/= as I lost my last job and I am unemplyee so I am unable to pay the rest 5 post dated cheques out of 18 posted cheques worth rs 4323/= each.
And after that they threaten me that you have to pay that amount else we charge a case against you and you have to appear in Hyderabad court for the same as you signly commit that you will pay all 18 cheques at any cost.
I am highly frusted this kind of attitude and very sorry to say that akll of futuring candidate who wants to do MBA through ICFAI is very harsh and foolishness decision.

As per regulation there is no refund of the program fee paid as various services are provided from time to time. The same is also indicated in the prospectus.

However, if you have any serious issue, you may represent the same with supporting documents to [protected]@icfaiuniversity.in, who shall take further action as required.
