[Resolved] ICICI Lombard (I - Health Care) — POLICY EXTENSION WITHOUT CONSENT/CONFIRMATION | |||
Policy No: 40341/FPP/05082023/00/000 Exp.: Dec'2010 I bought above policy for one year only and the person sold me the same on telephone and while agreeing I clearly and emphatically confirmed that I am taking the policy for one year only and the sales man of company informed me that the plan is for two years but it will be renewed fro second year only after taking your consent. My complaint is: 1. I have not received the policy documents at all hence could not use the free check-up facilities (as informed by caller) and other benefits. 2. Company has renewed my policy for second year without my consent. Company has not given any documents of policy etc. hence I have been deprived of my right to get the benefits provided in the policy. Company is charging monthly premium on my credit card statement hence I am compelled to pay. When I received another call from company's sales person to cover my family only then I got policy number until then I did not know the policy number etc. When I asked company for closure of the policy after 12 months they are asking 100% premium for remaining month ie. 9 months which sounds ridiculous. Even after my information on phone and registered letter they have still not send the policy. hence now I want full refund of the total premium paid to the company in last 17 months as they have failed to provide any policy documents depriving me of my policy benefits.
