I bought a IFB Microwave oven in august 2007 and unfortuantely it got repaired in october. I raised a complaint and the company sent the executive. The executive on inspection informed that the motor is out of order and will require 3 weeks since the spare part was out of stock. Since then neither i am able to trace the executive nor any response from call centre is futile. Finally i was shocked last week that my complaint has been closed completely adn i raised a frewsh complaint
Its a shame for a company like IFB to offer such a poor service to customers
I am in bangalore and it will be great if someopne can provide me the top level heads number in IFB so that i can escalate this issue to tje max....

IFB 30C MICROWAVE OVEN — NO RESPONSE, CHEATING

I have purchased IFB Micro wave oven in a authorised dealer, M/s Vikek & co. and I have under AMC for the same on a regular basis. There was a problem last year and I made a complain on 4th December 2007. After 2 - 3 remainders a service man came and informed there was a small problem in the door knob and he would replace it in a day or two. To my surprise without rectifying the problem the case was closed and this was informed to on on January when we called the customer care number to know the status. So, again a complaint was made for the unrectified, same old problem. Till now it is not rectified
IFB is a very good company in providing services to the customers. They have fixed my microwave oven with in twelve hours after my complaint. All parts were genuinely replaced and I was fully satisfied with the technician's job.
Its a horrible company and products are non sense. Service is almost extinct. Please dont purchase anything from IFB, else if you prepare to use and throw attitute towards the product. I am also awaiting for parts from IFB for my Microwave for Sept 2007 till date.
I had purchased a 25 lts micro oven from an authorised dealer (Bajaj Electronics) of Hyderabad one month back. I haven't received the product kit yet. There has been no product demo till now. I really dont know what to do with this micro oven..........

i cmpletely agree wid Vaidyanathan..i hv recently purchased a microwave oven for rs. 11000 and vry sorry to say tht the service man are totaly inexperinced and unqualified...i am nt at all satisfied wid the product or the company service...i feel its a fake company..i wish they take some remedial action and see to it that the customers ataken proper care of..

I am a co-sufferer over the past month. I purchased an IFB Microwave, and within 10 minutes of first use, it tripped. On raising a complaint at the call centre, an executive came and agreed with the complaint, and offered replacement of spare (in a brand new equipment). I sought a replacement of equipment. I raised several complaints thereafter upon non-action.
Today to my utter disbelief, I understand that my complaint has been closed. Absolutely unprofessional and callous attitude towards customers, by the "big brand" IFB. My emails to [protected]@tvs-e.in have not evoked any response. Shame on TVS.

I have given a micro oven for repairing in IFB service centre on 29/10/2008.But till today ie 17/11/2008 it is not repoaired.Every time I call them they are saying it will be ready by next week.Pls do the needful.
I bought your microvave SR. no. 2705/09/01171 dated 23.12.07 vide bill no 7359 for Rs. 4990. We were out of station till June, 08 and after return, we have started using the equipment. However, since July, 08 it has started giving trobles. We lodged complaints No.2030128 dt 31.7.08, 2110941 dt 25.8.08, 2387080 dt. 5.11.08 and as on today 2456058. In prtevious coms., your mechanic comes and repair it but within two/three days it stop heating etc. In comp., dt 5.11.08 your mechanic had replaced the Magnet. However, it has stopped heating since last five daysKindly replace the defective equipment immediately or refund .

I have purchased a IFB microwave on 27 Oct 08 and it is not working since three-four weeks. Even after calling so many times (my ticket no. is 2491991 on dated 02 Dec 08)to IFB calling Centre, no Engineer has been coming so far. I have also got a bad experience with IFB. My Microwave stoped working about one and half month ago.I booked a complaint with the Service centre (Request No. 2426217) and waited . After 10 days some one came to see it. After several calls he came again and said that the Input Transformer is faulty and he removed it and taken with him. After that, one month was no news .I repeatedly call the service centre but no use. I lodged acomplaint in their web site, but there was no responsethere also . Now Iam waiting for some miracle to happen. Local service centre is uncompetent and inefficient. From this we can make out the standard of IFB.

Finally i could reach them on 26th Dec. I got to know that my complaint was cancelled and the reason was, "CUSTOMER WILL CALL BACK CALL CENTRE". I was totally annoyed. The after getting all the blastings from me their manager siad it would be taken up as emergency call. Thier service guy came in sometime. He looked at the micriwave and siad that the problem( My owen was automatically setting the timer to 10, 20, 30, ..., 90 mins and i could not use it during that time) was due to voltage fluctuation and there is nothing wrong with the owen. This seemed very funny. All the struggle i did to get my oven serviced was just answered in 1 minute. It still continues to have that problem

I bought an IFB oven in Jan 2009...and have been ever since waiting for a "live demo" as promised by the customer service representative of the shop I purchased the oven from. Can't believe that it takes 10 calls/repeated requests to the call centre (i'm always promised that some "representative" is on the way to my place for the demo!!) and yet not have anyone from the organisation coming over to organise a simple task like a "demo"...Wonder what will happen if I ever need assistance in the future on the working of the oven in terms of service!!!...

IFB — Poor Service By IFB , Don't Buy IFB Microwave Oven
I bought one IFB Microwave Oven 25PG1S on 1st January and the product stopped working within 7 days . Then lodge a complaint via their call centre. After one day one service boy came and found that fuse within the owen is not working. He told me that now the fuse is not in their stock and it will come within 2 days and within 2 days they will replace the fuse. But already 5 days gone till now did not get any service from their side. IFB customer care is not at all good. No one is picking up phone so I can't check my complain status also. So I would suggest every bode not to buy IFB microwave owen as their product is not good and at the same time service provided by them is horrible.
I have the similar issue with the Microwave Oven. Two of their executives visited my place and the first said that there was some issue with the wire or something, and then the second said the motor has to be replaced as it might have been damaged due to Voltage fluctuations!!!... The product is still well within the warantee period if not, he said it would cost 2, 000/- +... More than 4- 5 complaints registered... n still no reply or call back from the customer service... Pathetic customer service...

I live in Vashi. I purchased this product at KOHINOOR in Vashi. I thought that we will cook food on auspicious day of Gudhi Padwa. But since 22nd March 2009 no service engg came for a demo. We called the concerned engg several times. Every time he promised to come within 2/3 hours but never came. If such attitude is shown towards a new purchaser, i very much doubt about their efficiency in attending the service call. Now we are repenting our decision to purchase the product from Ken star. Our Microwave oven is now perched on kitchen platform as it is as a show piece.

I want to draw your attention towards the HORRIBLE SERVICE OF IFB . I made a complaint of my Microwave oven complaint no 2873624 registered at your Lucknow service centre in March 2009, but I am soory to note that even after my repeated reminders at your service centre and also at your IFB service office at Lucknow no one has boithered to look into my complaint.If such poor service had been in my knowledge I would have gone for some other microwave company . Moreover I am surprised to bring that I have an AMC with IFB and even after that I am not getting service .Now I request you to guide me as to what step I should take so that my microwave oven again comes back to its working condition OR should I go on complaining at our unheard / unattended service centres.
This is regarding the IFB Microwave I purchased from Ambala Cantt. A product from a Company like IFB giving so many problems

My IFB microwave oven ( 205c2 ) is not working properly so I've registered the complaint last month April 09, and my complaint no is 2916867. I bought a IFB Microwave oven ( 205c2 ) in Feb 09 and unfortuantely it got repaired in March. I raised a complaint and the company sent the executive. The executive on inspection informed that the lid is out of order, now we are not proper tools so we come by next weak 28 April 09. Since then neither i am able to trace the executive .
I entirely agree with u. IFB customer service is hopeless. I mention below gist of my complaint lodged withem on 7th May 2009. Till date there is no reply. The feedback was given on their website and they are least bothered.

I thought of giving you feed back of your so called Customer Care Service
1) Last week I lodged complaint with 39004321 and got complaint number 311087
and was told that your technician will contact in 24 Hrs.
2) For two days no sign of you man so I reminded again and I was given his number as 32424624.
3) When contacted he promised to come following day.
4) Two Smartly dressed 'technicians' came. They must be 'Highly Experienced' as without even touching they said they have to takeit to Woks and it will be picked on the following day.
5) Again no sign for two days. When I rang up they said the part 'Door for Cover' was out of stock even in the factory as such it cannot be repaired as such I should buy a new one !!
6)When I protested they gave me number of their boss Mr Mitesh Jain[protected] whose number was continously busy.
6) Frustrated, I called a private service house. Can you believe- they promptly came and repaird. They said - nothing wrong with the door but the release clamps had to be changed
Moral of the story is NEVER CONTACT COMPANY APPROVED SERVICE AGENTS AS THEY WILL NEVER ATTEND TO YOUR COMPLAINTS
If any of the above complaints are still unresolved, please get in touch with me immediately as I am going to comsumer redressal forum to get justice in my case. That's the only way left to teach these people a lesson of their lives. Collectively we can, I am sure, make the company close its shop.
I purchased IFB Microwave oven through Time Of India Ad.last year. But after few months My microwave raised some problem. I submitted many complaints to Co. but nobody responded. After few days a executive came at my place and checked the oven and went away. Then again after few calls made by me another executive came, opened the Microwave & kept it as it is & from that day till now nobody came to recheck it even after many reminders. More than 3months have passed but Co. don't care about it. Now i realised that IFB is the WORST Co.. I even suggest others not to buy IFB products. Shame on IFB.

IFB MICROWAVE-model 25PG1S — service engineer not visited
I had purchased IFB microwave through IFB website in march-09.same had delievered, but even after repeated request and mail no service engineer visited.It seems that IFB has a very poor response towards customer complaints.
I had bought a IFB Microwave a couple of years back and had paid for the extended warranty this year. During the 1st week of August my Micro wave went out of order and then began my horrible experience of the customer service. I have been calling their helpline number numerous times and also have spoken to the Locak managers at Chandigarh but every time i get the same response.." We will call you back within 10-15 mins with the status" .. but that never happens.
I have purchased the microwave-oven model :20SC2 booked in the exhibition at
BERHAMPUR, Dist-Ganjam, orissa. From the begining the Demo etc are given by the
under skilled employees of the local dealer "SWATI ENTERPRISES, Zanana Hospital Road,
BERHAMPUR ".Once I met your engineer who committed me to come to my house to guide
us on the use, but it was a false committment.
Now aftr the guarantee period the oven is out of order.Last three months I am not getting the service.It could not be repaired at my home.Now it is lying with the dealer for last one and half month .
The parts are not available.
This is a short of harashment/mental torture to the customers.The cost of the equipment is Rs.8000/-.It has not been used so much during the one year three months.
It is really shocking to get this type of service from a reputed company.

IFB/Microwave Oven — Problematic Machine; No Product Support
From the time I bought this microwave oven from IFB, I have been having issues. The Customer Call Center at Chennai is always busy and never reachable. Managed to reach the number accidentally during one of my trials after trying for about a year! The Service Engineer came, opened the machine and dusted it and claimed there were no issues. I took an AMC with the understanding that someone will anyway come and check after about a month due to the AMC....
Neither has anyone come so far, nor is the Call Center reachable and....
I AM CONTINUING TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM OF NO HEATING AND LIGHT NOT WORKING IN THE MICROWAVE!
I am logging this so that no one makes the mistake of buying IFB microwaves again. And think several times before buying any IFB product since there will be absolutely no product support from the Company.
Same thing has happened with us. The timer knob indicates digits other than time in sec. The service centre shop ( Krishna Sales Servive, Nadiad) subcontracted by IFB does not give any response.

I have been following up with your company reresentatives over phn.on customer service#[protected] who give us mobile # of their staff, i am listing below the number whom i have contacted for the past one month
i have called them daily but no one has attended to my request.
I placed the first complaint# 3576254 in the last week of September 2009, for which a representative from your office arrived in my residence on 5th Oct and repaired the same.
They renewed my warranty for which i have paid Rs 1424. But in a couple of days it again got out of order, i again placed a complaint for which a representative arrived and advised us that some of the electrical parts had gone bad and would needed to be replaced.
Till then from that day i have been following up with the customer care excecutives and other representatives of the company for the same and every day i have been recieving assurances that it will be repaired the same day.
You are requested to look into this on priority and assure that it is reaired at the ealiest.
I am expecting a postive reply from your office failing which i have to adher to other measures.
This seems to be a critical issue. May I ask Indian Consumer Complaint Forum to let us know what action they are planning against IFB. Suggest us if we can do something.
I entirely agree with u. For the past two months I am trying to fix the problem on the IFB micro oven, two exectutives came but failed in their service. It's horrible. I will never ever go for IFB company products. Its an useless company and shows apathy towards their customers.
I bought this fake microwave oven from IFB in July 2008. After 5 months of rare use, the box stopped working. When we lodged a complaint, this bogus company wanted me to take AMC with them. After having taken the AMC for a year, till date (5th Dec 2009), the company has not taken steps nor care to replace the motor which the technician (so called) had identified initially. Several calls to the call centre and the regional office in Chennai all went in vain. My complaint number is 1533477. Every alternate day I am following up with these guys, but no response. Having swallowed up my AMC money, this company is worse than those finance companies which had cheated its investors. I regret as to why I had to purchase this kind of bogus product. And seeing the number of complaints here, I only fear how the product could pass through quality checks and enter the consumer market. I think the company has paid enough kick backs and today recovering it through consumers like us. India is one country where this is possible. Had this happened to any one consumer in a foreign country, by this time the company would have paid dearly. It is very unfortunate for us to be ripped off by such bogus companies.
Having seen the attitude of the customer service of the company, I am damn sure that my product is not going to be repaired and I need to convince myself that I have entertained a costly beggar in my lifetime. I have buyed a IFB micro oven and did the biggest mistake in my life the customer service is so pathetic that even a local company provides better service.
Brought in the year 2007 got AMC renewed as we normally faced problem with the oven right from day1.whenever we called Customer care center they would just provide a service no and then nobody would turn up. since my wife and me are both working we would request them to send executive after 5 or on sundays which they couldnot comply.My micro oven has shown problem around 15-20 times in a year and we have suffered heavikly with the service they provide and no one is accountable for the service they provide in delhi.

Request every consumer not to buy any IFB product, worst service anybody can think about it, which is quite shameful for a so called brand like "IFB"
The services provided through the frachieses of the company in Delhi are not satisfactory. The so called service executives are either not experienced, trained or they are either not able to repair it at home or they intentionally take the micrrowave at the centre for making the bill high. Without giving any prior intimation of the estimated repair cost, they come with any bill amount like 2500 to 3000, on the machine of Rs. 4900/, and whereas the machine was a purchase of within 2 years time.
We donot understand as to why the company do not repair at the site. If it is not possible then why donot give any estimate. What is wisdom to spend Rs. 2700/- on repair on an item of Rs. 4900. Which has become of depreciated value after 2 years uses.
IFB — IFB Microwave service very poor and not able to fix the problem
I have IFB microwave. I took it because of the brand name. I did not know that it's service is damm poor. Whenever I called up customer care they provide me the complain number but no one turns up for the service untill and unless I call the local service people 4-5 times. From the start I am facing issues with this oven and from starting whenever I heat something in microwave vapour comes out through the front door due to some gap in the door. After complaining for so many times a tech came and told me he cannot fix this issue and after that I called up the senior person Deepak and Premraj and they also gave me the same reason. No body turned up. I stay in Faridabad , SEctor 46, 807,sadbhawna appartment. If no one turns up after this complain then I am ging to take leagal action against this company. I will go to consumer court.

i live in Rajajinagar, Bangalore and I bought an IFB Microwave 10 days back.. i called up the technician to install it and fixed up a time 5 times for the same , but every time he failed to turn up ... Hi this is very true that IFB provides litraly no sercvice infact a worst service that i have ever experienced from any other co. for any product for that matter.I also purchased microven in 2008 model 30SC2. It has developed some problem in 2009 itself.Since i was in AMC i lodged a compliant no4088247 dtd.31Jan 2010.Several times called to customer care and some other exutive but useless no one is bothered they r so careless towards customer. Can any one suggest how to take on this company to takkel this problem.I rate this is one of the worst and redicules servider provider co.

Our Turn table has been broken and we have register the complaint for so many times then their technician cam and inspected the thing and told that you have to give the charge for the Turn table because it is Glass and it doesnot have a warranty.
We said OK we will give the charge and that is the day that techncian never turned up we have register the complaint so many times to the DLR Vijay Sales Maninagar and no one is responding we dont know what to do we are very hopless and were we have to go !
I have complained to IFB customer about my microwave not working. Nobody cares to attend. They have new excuses everytime but nobody is interested in solving problem. THis is first service experience and it is very disappointing. I have written complaint on their website also but of no use.
I have a diferent and unique experiance with IFB product. I got Microwave Oven in aug, 2008. After just 3 months it stopped warming and after complaining it got fixed by replacing a fuse. Again after sometime it had the same problem and this time i had to go out of station for sometime and I planned to get it fixed after coming back. When i checked it again it worked fine. After some few months it stopped again warming, I lodged a complaint with service center and suggested them to get it fixed properly as the product was under warranty. they assuered me that the product is good and it needs fuse change. I insisted why is fuse getting worn out, there is some problem that is why fuse gets used up. They didn't listen to me and changed the fuse again.
This time again same thing happened and the product is 1 and half year old I don't use it heavily, just for warming the food that even sometimes. Warranty is expired this time. To my surprise when the customer service checked it, they told me of replacing some part worth Rs. 2000/=. I told them all story about this product why wasn't it replaced when under warranty, that time the problem was there and you were replacing fuses only. They aren't able to answer me.
If this is the problem with every IFB product then its OK I will agree IFB products are like this. If not then why was defective product sold to me and not serviced when under warranty.

Again he sent the same engineer and he is brought some duplicate part from somewhere. he removed and opened the sealed Tray motor and fix some old gear on that and fix the motor on Owen, while he switching on smoke come out from Owen.!! fortunately I ask him to stop the all junk work and bring brand new Tray motor .
The Engineer Mr.Isaac from Bangalore service centre Did not closs the machine and still my Owen is opened condition.!!!
After this incident I discussed with my engineer friends, they told me a shocking story.
Actually this Tray motor is a Sealed combination of gear and a DC motor, any service engineer is not authorized to open this part, some times the engineer bring some old part from second hand market and fix to warranty machines !! and they will sell the original parts from IFB.
And the engineers simply tells to poor customers that, some plastic parts will not cover warranty so customer should pay some amount even if it is under warranty.!!
Today 19 April 2010 I contacted again Bangalore service centre and talked to Mr.Niranjan he gave his Manager (Mr.Michel) Number ([protected]) and ask me to contact him.!!!
Anyway I am going to contact him. and I am planning to continue this writings..

Ifb executive plus w/m — Amc - fake maintenance charges
I got Amc executed in feb 10 but after repeated calls they turned one day but told that this machine can be repaired at there place not here . After that 2 months has been passed but no body has turned to take w.machine . Now i think Is IFB company Does exist because There Complaint Numbers Either changed or faulty . There website is too busy or not available , Now I Name This Company as INDIAN FAKE BUSINESS company.
I bought a Microwave oven Last August. Some problem developed even before 1 year. It took one month for me to get it repaired. Senior Technician at Alwaye Service Center has taken my oven to their service center and returned saying that the problem was due to an insect. I am an Electronics Engineer and I wonder what a system was designed. Within one after returned same problem repeated and against my complaint no one has even looked at it even after 2 and half weeks. what a nasty service. Do IFB expect us to buy these expensive equipments and keep it in the show case.?????????

I bought IFB Microwave 2 years back from kuruvithadom agencies muvattupuzha,ernakulam kerala,. In September'08 it became non operational. I called up customer care and they gave me some ticket number twice during last 6 months. within 2 years,but somebody from the service point called me and the person is already sent for the service and am waiting for him for the last 3 days without moving from my home nad was totally messup with my daily routine ,i got the call from [protected],daily and iformed the custservice exe is on tghe way but .......??????? I am at the way where neither I get it repaired nor sell it off as there is no one to buy it. In short, IFB is not at all a reliable brand to use. i hope somebody will take care and do the things asap

i have a 30 sci, ifb microwave.i complained in july 19th 2010 about it.service engineer comes agter 3 days and changes the pcb after 10 days due to non-availability of this part.grill does not work.company informed.they take it to workshop deliver it after 10 days and the grill still does not work.complaint registered at helpline again on 23/08/10 and 06/09/10 and 25/09/10.useless company and useless service.they should be penalised for harassing the customers.-dr amaravani
PLEASE DO N'T PURCHASE IFB- 20SCI MODEL MICROWAVE OVEN.
I purchased above-said model serial number 2547 on 20/10/2006 from Jindal Electronics, Mahavir Enclave, Palam, New Delhi. Within 2-3 months, the originally came out. On my third compliant (8th month), engineer took my oven to service centre to change inner body because of corrosion. Serviceability did not last for even 10 days. Again and again I compliant for oven malfunctioning. Servicing Engineer itself commented that this model is FAILURE. We face lot of difficulty in this model.
When I heard this sentence, twice I wrote email compliant to Kolkata registered office to change my oven. But nobody has responded.
Malfunctioning-complianting-servicing was prolonged. We were frustrated with Microwave (so called convection model). But my conscious didn't allow to resale or give it to KABHADI wala. So I took AMC for two years by paying Rs. 1668/- on 09/10/2008 AMC No. 90880.
We were benefited with this AMC that we did not pay on every compliant. But Malfunctioning-complianting-servicing was continued.
Finally in the month of December 2009, we have shifted to Chennai and brought this unserviceable IFB Model 20SC1 Microwave oven with us. Now it is a show-piece in our kitchen.
Thanks to IFB to sell this model and provide job to servicing engineers.
I have purchase Oven in Chennai vasanth and co on Jul2010 then i was facing Touch pad problem i register the complaint. service person came for service after one month he replaced the touch pad after 2 days that is also not working. i hope you would take necessary action.

I have a IFB Grill microwave. It was not working so, i called their service people through their customer care.They came and said that megnatron(is a part of it) is not working, and they asked us to by a megnatron from them. we agreed, and next day they came with a new megnatron and once they fit it in the microwave it got burst. and they told us that the transfomer got damaged as the megnatron they attached is not the right one. then they fled.
After repeated call they told us that now total amout cost us is more than the microwavr cost.

I have purchased IFB Microwave Oven from M/s Sargam Electronics, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi vide Cash Memo No.S/L-Ngr-2-659 dated 10th May' 2011. My suggestion: DO NOT BUY IFB PRODUCTS
My newly bought microwave stopped working within one and a half months! I registered the complaint and requested service call immediately (Complain number: 6739033, Cust. ID: 2817814).
Inspite of call center person assuring that I'll get call from service person within 24 hours I had to call back after 2 days to remind the service! Then thankfully a service person came and confirmed that it is not working because some IFB part failed and need to get that from store room. He mentioned this part collection can take 1 day to max 6 days depending on availability in the store room.
Alas!!!!! Shockingly I did not receive any call from IFB side after that day till now (a month passed). I call the customer care number almost everyday now but nothing more I've heard than that the reminder will be forwarded and take a phone number to inquire more. Everytime I called got different numbers and most of them doesn't really helpful because nobody picks up the phone.
Conclusion:
1. IFB doesn't bother to inform me(N I know it is not just me) that the part's can take more time to arrive.
2. IFB microwave has just became a showpiece at my place(which I show to people as worst one I have in my house) and my warranty days are just passing without using it.
3. Customer care is worthless, they don't have any power to do, they cant even give official email ids or transfer the call to any senior person!
4. Once a item is bought IFB doesn't bother about their customers which makes it the worst company in the competitive market!
5. IFB is cheating on customers giving fake assurance!
6. Unexpectedly unprofessional behavior received from IFB.
After purchasing withen one year mw stop working after many call mistry (they called him engineer) comes .
In the mean time guarantee period expired, he told that the magnet will replaced which is cost about the half of the cost of the microwave.
After some time the glass plate of mw was broken. I contact service centre at moradabad after one month a person come with plate costing Rs.750/- which is beyond imagination and he also demand Rs 250/- as service charge without any service in mw..After he returns I saw that the glass plate was over size.

ifb microwaves — extremely poor careless customer service

I would like to bring to the attention of higher authorities of IFB Microwaves, the complete negligence to handle the customer complaints for over 2 months (complaint number 7090123) I had registered a complaint that the microwave is not working and had technician coming in next day to check. Upon checking he confirmed that the Magnetron is spoit and required replacement, which is covered under 3 year warranty. I was promised of service the next day and am still waiting for that I have called to follow up over 50 times only to increase my phone bill.
Every time we are given multilple numers of local call centre, local service centre, supervisor, manager etc, but nobody assists in getting this to a resolution. On request to speak to supervisor, there is a standard response that they are on another call and will call back, but never receive the call and once when i insisted and stayed online to speak to the supervisor i was transfered to a number which as expected no one picked up and i finally had to hang up. I even had people shout at me over the phone that they cant do anything and i should understand that my compliant ticket is still open.
It appears the service centre is waiting for the warranty to expire to service and charge the clients.
My IFB 23SC1 model developed some problem some 6 months back. I complained to the customer care & they decline to register the complaint stating the PIN code (642117) where I live is not in there list. Then I had send the microwave oven to a service center & they said that to repair this will cost more than Rs 5000, hence its worthwhile to go for a new one & they have some buy back policy. When contacted the IFB center in Coimbatore they said that they do not have any buy back offer for microwave ovens.Now I have decided to go for some other good brand due to this bad experience. Very sorry to note that a well reputed company like IFB is dealing with their customers in such irresponsible manner.
I, V S Jamwal agree to the above regarding horrible service being offered by the IFB for repair of Mic Wave oven at their service center situated at Dharamshala of Disstt. Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. It is complete one month today i.e. on 6th Dec after I offered my MW oven for repair. I was told that they shall be reverting back within three days about the status of my oven but after waiting for about 15 days I contacted myself on phone but the status of my oven was the same and i was given reason regarding non availability of some part and agreed to convey me within two days after repair. But today after complete one month when I rang again to about my oven firstly I was greeted by the phone attendent(she) with the remarks that "Hamein Nahein Pata Hamare Paas bahut se ovens aate hain" but later she asked me to wait for few minutes and she will ring me up to convey the status. But now it is one hr since I talked to her but nothing has been conveyed to me so far. I am feeling cheated and now onward always guide my known persons that not to buy IFB products in future.
i agree with all those who say ifb service is not only bad but worst. i gifted an oven to my wife on 26/9/09 as a wedding day gift. finally it stopped working in 11/11. on a complaint, an engnr by name sridhar visited promply and convinced me to pay rs.1300/- for AMC WHICH I PAYED THRO CHEQUE. then my ordeal with ifb has started..lodged a complaint on 12/12. have already spent more than 100 rupees calling these ppl... and that sridhar who promised action within 24 hrs has switched off his mobile. after some more days i think i will treat the oven as scrap...

I have purchased this machine just 8 months back. It has just one issue that it vibrates a lot during spinning. At times we have to hold it tight when the machine is spinning. We have made the required complaints to the company on customer care as well as to the person from where we have bought it. Despite the efforts and time we have spent for the same the problem has still not been solved. As per the company officials the machines has the vibration problem because it is not loaded properly or it is under loaded than the capacity of the machine. We have tried all the ways as per the instruction given in the manual. The problem still persists.
My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal....
In spite of lodging several complaints, company was unable to repair the machine properly. The warranty period is not yet expired. Ill response from the service centre today. Did not send a service personnel although commited to do so at 10 am and compelling me to take leave from my ofice. No one cares for the customer. No number of the higher officials are available anywhere. Demending immediate redressal....
The unserviceble washing machine has not been repaired since 22 Jan 2008, (complaint no 1496621).
The call to Mr Dutta , their manager at Pune has also not evoked any respose. We are forced to wash clothes by hand in this winter season since last 3 weeks.

I had purchased IFB-Eleena washing Machine about one and half years ago. The motor of the machine gave away and the service engineer sent by the Company replaced it. However, the machine did not work and I complained again about it. No body attends to teh Machine though it has been over two months. It is a harassing experience.

We had purchased a 30L Microwave + Grill + Convection from IFB in early 2007. The microwave stopped working in Oct 2007 and was repaired.
Again the Microwave has stopped working in Dec 2007. A complaint was registered with IFB (Complaint No. 1382426) on 9 Dec 07 but as yet the microwave is not repaired by IFB.
This is very poor service from such a renowned brand in India.

I have order a IFB microwave oven ..its almost a month now that i haven't received my order....more over the call centers ladies/gents are really fools don't know to give a update on the order that we ask.

Hey May be I think I must believe in the comment too.. I was a first time caller on Home 18 as I ordered a digital Camera (Order No.[protected] on 05th Jan'09. After 15 minutes I noticed a camcorder also so I thought why not to cancel the previous order & to book camcorder as it sounds me more cost effective. The Executive picked up the phone & reconfirm me with the cancellation number (Cancellation No. 895812) but the moment I heard his colleagues comments on my cancellation as they were ridiculously laughing seemingly giving an impression of some Low class unprofessional Yokel Team... With no choice I have to disconnect my call. Rather appeciating my efforts in booking an order they were making a fun out of it...
Sorry Mr.Branch Manager but I think Groom ur guys, they are really unethical with their enactment of working..

It will be good for you remain away from IFB Ovens sold in India and Nepali Markets. This is because they are not according to standard and quality. It takes very long time to cook any food in comparision to any other international product. Therefore it is good not to buy any IFB ovens. The company is just cheating the customers and their pocket. Last week I bought one 25SC2 model oven and now suffering. It is wasting my time, electricity and etc.
I am copletely agree with the complaint.
I also offer Rebook Combo and the product which Home18 has provided are different than one which they have shows in addvertisment.
My polite appeal for you, please do not done a same mistake again and do not done any shopping with Home18

SirI have purchased IFB Micro wave oven in a authorised dealer, M/s Vikek & co. and I have under AMC for the same on a regular basis. There was a problem last year and I made a complain on 4th December 2007. After 2 - 3 remainders a service man came and informed there was a small problem in the door knob and he would replace it in a day or two. To my surprise without rectifying the problem the case was closed and this was informed to on on January when we called the customer care number to know the status. So, again a complaint was made for the unrectified, same old problem. Till now it is not rectified
