I got IFB MicroWave Oven 1 year back, I was not able to cook cake, I complaint to servie centre,
They came from service centre, and heated a potato and said Oven is fine and our method of cooking is
Wrong. After that we cooked many times, cake was happening properly, so left it unused.
After 14 months compliant again and told them to cook a cake and show, ( One of my IFB retailer recommeded to do so) then he sent one lady from service centre to cook cake, finally after cooking he confirmed that Oven is fault. He took the oven from place on 1/10/2008, till date I didn't receive any call from him, he said some spare has to come, Oneday in anger I told him just you have our machine with yourself, I will think that I have gifted something to IFB. After that he didn't turnback at all.
I will not buy any IFB product in lifetime, I have wasted 13000/- on a oven.
Really worst Affected Customer.

I WANT TO ASSURE ANY PERSONNEL BUYING IFB WASHING BE READY FOR A LIFE LONG HORROR ORDEAL IF BY ANY CHANCE YOUR MACHINE REQUIRES ANY MAINTAINCES OR DEVELOPS ANY FAULT. THAT ALL IS FINE THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT THE REPS WHEN THEY KNOW THAT U R SPEAKING ABT THE PROBLEM WHICH THEY ARE UNABLE TO SOLVE THEY DISCONNECT THE PHONE WHICH IS REALLY SAD PART OF THE WHOLE ISSUE. ONE CAN IMAGINE SUCH FANTASTIC PROFESSIONAL SERVICE BACKUP BEING PROVIDED BY IFB IN HEART OF NATIONAL CAPTIAL NEW DELHI, SO ONE CAN IMAGINE THEIR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE BACKUP IN INTERIOR PARTS OF INDIA. JJUST NOT WORTH IT TO BUY IFB.
The service engineer called me and informed his inability to come at the promised time due to some issue of his attending a meeting. So I called up the service centre of Mehta enterprises at THANE- on the ph.no.[protected] on 17th Apr-2010 at @ 3.55pm. After hearing 8-10 rings the phone was answered by a lady. When I inquired from her about my call history and on what date and time did I lodge the complaint with them, to my surprise, she was not having any details of the complaint. It is SURPRISING to note that they donot have a history of the complaints received and the answers given to customers over phone are 'RIDICULOUS' and 'STUPID' to the extent that 'I was on leave and someone else might have attended your call, hence I am unable to give the details of the nature of complaint logged by you.'
There is absolutely no system in place at all. Moreover, she was giving me the field engineer's cell number so that I would directly speak to him. If this be the case, then what for are the office staff for? If the call is taken by the office staff, then is not their duty to answer the queries regarding the call? What purpose is served by giving the service engineers cell no.? When I denied taking the service engineers cell no. and demanded that she shoud just give me the date and time when my complaint was received and the service date assured by them. I was given an assurance by the lady that she will revert to me in few minutes, but she did not revert back. So, after @ 20 mins, I called up again at 4.15 pm. Again the same reply that she will revert back in few minutes. Now it is 5.35 pm. Almost 95 minutes have gone by and I am yet to recieve the so callled "Reply' from Ms/ Mehta Enterprises' Office.
It is disgusting to know that this is the level of improtance given to the customers valuable time.
THE OFFICE STAFF IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND GOOD FOR NOTHING, to put it mildly.
It's a pity that a brandname like IFB is in the hands of such incompetent people, which is bringing disrepute to the company.
Here the After Sales service is just worst, employees dont know how to talk with the customers,
they dont know anything regarding their product, their Authorities are useless.
Only they want to make money through servicing their products every now & than, the best way to make money they have come with is their "AMC Plan" ( Bull ).
Dont dare to Buy any of IFB.

Past three months my washing machine is not working. My complaint number is 4720279
Every day i have the call to customer care .But it is 100% waste. My machine is in under warranty period
And i have 4.5 years Amc also. We are upset in this matter call center people don’t give any support. They are simply cheating me - transfer the call to the senior officer but nobody pickup the call. Kindly solve my machine problem Or Return back my machine and give the money back -with interest have to report [protected] But no use. and [protected] that is also no use This numbers are given by the call center people. I don’t know the IFB is working or closed. After one week i will return back the machine to Vasanth and co Thamparam .After 15 days i will take the support from consumer court
I am one of your customers who bought IFB washing machine of 5-kg Elena model in 2008.
I bought it from Bhilai Radio house, civic centre, Bhilai. (c.g.)-490001. Few back It gave trouble by leaking water from the bottom. I gave complaint to the shop. After two days your service person came & chacked. He informed us that the door rubber to be changed. Then we replaced the rubber & door also with the total cost around 2000. When it was running without load no water came out. Next day when we put clothes & start the machine again the water started leaking. Then again we gave compalint to the shop. There we talked to your service man Mr.Nasir Khan. His talking & response style made us very much annoyed. Right now machine is under leaking condition. nobody has not yet come. kindly enable us to rectify the problem & help us to free us from the service of such persons.
