I bought a fully automatic IFB washing machine at Coimbatore (model no AW60 8061) on 12.10.2009 . Till date they didn't show the demo, i made so many calls and emails but they didn't response. Also the showroom people gave the service people phone no , they didn't attend the phone also.So my request to consumer is don't buy any IFB products also don't get any mental tension.

    My Senorita IFB washing machine is unusable since almost 6 months. The problem is tremendous vibration and and banging at the time of spinning. On my complaints with the call cetre, the local service personnels have attended 3 or 4 times. But the problem still persits.
    Lately the technician told me that I must buy a stand to solve this problem. I am skeptical of his suggestion,as the manufacturers have not said anything like that in the brochure. Can I have an authenticated opinion on this.

      We bought an IFB washing machine just in Sept 2011 and by March it became out of order. We did not have the contact numbers to log in our complaints. We were just passed on from one to another. Finally we got the contact number to lodge complaints. Our complaint number is 8965132 and ID no is 3013723. Two days later a person came, and went back saying he has to refer to the book. It is about two weeks now and all that the company says is there is no spare part and they are helpless and so we have to wait. What sort of company is this, giving such a poor quality of service? Can't you do something about it? Such companies should be taken to court.

        IFB washing machine SENATOR — Repeated faults and poor service

        My machine is in warranty period. Till now several faults appeared in machine and were repaired although after several reminders of complaints. Now again machine is not working and about 10 days has passed since I lodged the complaints with several reminders at your Bangalore service center and Lucknow centers with no result.         IFB washing machine SENATOR — Machine is completely dead

        My complaint:
        I bought SENATOR 6Kg cost rs 23, 000at Viveks, Indiranagar, BangaloreThis machine is only 1 year old. It has suddenly stopped working now and after 1 month of lodging complaint the engineer came and dismantled the whole machine telling that most of its major parts including the motor are all spoilt and has not turned up. Everytime I enquire with the customer care they say that they close the ticket based on the engineer's feedback.
        I am so frustrated with their service. My machine is lying dead and they do not seem to care to repair. When I asked the engineer to replace with a new one as its under warranty, he explains of a new rule that machine can be replaced only within one month of purchase. When I spoke to customer care to confirm the same, that engineer in front of me scolds that executive and tells him of this new unheard rule.
        I am desparately seeking justice and want such irresponsible people to be punished for not doing their job with sincerity. They do not seem to care after selling a mchine.
        The engineer's name is RAFIQ.
        The customer care Supervisor's name is Tausif.

        IFB Washing Machine Senator — Motor not working - agreed to replace under AMC

        I have given a complaint on 6th April to the IFB toll free centre and i got the ticket number as 2897390.I have contacted more frequently to the local and IFB toll free centre & still I was not replaced with new motor.

        Almost more than 20 days completed and the machine are not rectified.

        IFB Washing Machine Senator — IFB IS NOT RESPONDING

        I have notified IFB's call centre on December 30, 2011, based on their service engineer (through true care) advise to supply a body to my IFB washing machine (Model Senator) which got spoiled at one due to some machine deficiency. In spite of repeat calls, even after I told them that I would pay for the body, they are not arranging it, and thus rendering my machine useless.

        I am having regular AMC with them for almost 6 years now.
        My customer reference code with them is 712676.
        Complaint No which has been lodged on 30/12/2010 is 5643518

        My AMC agreement No with IFB is 0037992 dated 3.3.2010

          IFB Washing Machines - Worst Service Support
          My IFB Digital front loading washing machine stopped working since 25.02.2012.
          I logged nos of complaint and after two months
          the service person came and told that he replaced some part within two days.
          I’ve contacted IFB customer care again after one week.
          Service person came and told the some parts is the problem and needs to be changed.
          No one called back after that. I’ve started chasing customer care.
          The service centre people are well trained in giving various reasons every day.
          “There is no stock of that part”
          “Part is ordered it will come by next Friday and will fix it by coming Monday” (every week I’m hearing the same)
          "All parts are changed don't know why its not working"
          I approached call centre again on 10th june 2012 for further escalation.
          Its 4 months now and my washing machine stands like a monument in my house.
          Service people are getting trained to the core exploiting our situation.

          IFB WASHING MACHINE — WASHING MACHINE OUT OF ORDER

          Dear team

          I have purchased a IFB washing machine model No.AW60-8061 SI. NO. in the month of November 2011
          after one or two months o[censored]se I am facing problem with the product but after
          contineous complaning and follow up with IFB team and Technician their has been no resolve to the Issue
          neither their has been any steps taken to resolve the same and talking to customer care executives
          is the worst experince I had that they do not entairtain the customer and is very rude to the customer when asking for any query it has been realy unsatisfactory level of work from the team of IFB who claims
          to be the best in its segement in after sales service quality. The product I am using is still in warrenty
          do the needful to resolve the problem the cmplain no 8695231. raised on 21st of April 2012 was loged at customer care IFB center Kolkata region hopeing for quick response

              IFB WASHING MACHINE — Poor Service/Bad quality product

              IFB DIGITAL 7 kg !
              From the date of purchase on 28.04.2005, the machine was giving frequent problem of more vibration and noise. During the warranty itself, the main belt was replaced several times. After the warranty period, this machine is now under AMC. During the AMC period also, there were several visits by the technician in solving the machine's vibration. They have removed the motor of the machine for repair and were dilly-dallying without fitting the repaired motor. Now they say that I have to replace the entire body of the machine due to rust problem. This is not acceptable to me because their body design is faulty. Their body is not designed properly to take care of the rusting problem since the washing machine is supposed to work with water and in a watery area. When the machine was supplied, as per their supply, it was placed on an elevated fabricated platform. In the past there were more than 50 visits by their technicians and not even once this was identified by them. In my opinion, the machine Digital & kg is a faulty machine and customer's problems like mine is further aggravated by their unskilled technicians/customer care officers. I have sent a detailed email on 03.12.2009 and the same was acknowledged by '[protected]@ifbglobal.com' on 04.12.2009. I seek your support to get my problem addressed once and for all without any further delay. Thanks.
              IFB Service sucks. its more that 6 months our machine is working, inspite of many complaints its still a mess.
              People buying IFB think b4 investing.

                I've purchased one IFB Washing machine on 2 of this month...it should be delivered through Navata transport on 4...But when i contact the Navata thay said that the product was Caught by some customs's gazzeted officer because of some missing sales tax and then i visited the store by the query here the associates co-operated me very well and i had talked to the godown person Mr.Rajashekar and also Mr.Gangadhar..They simply passed away the issue by stating that myself should go to Navata in Guntur and give them necessary Expalanation...We can't expect this kind of service from Reliance isn't it...Now give me Immediate Response

                  We were been delivered with a defective piece of "IFB ELENA VX" washing machine.
                  On complaining about this (on 09/05/2012) they carried our machine back to their service centre...(that too after 20-25 days)... and assured us with the replacement... and now its almost 1 month over and they havent yet delivered the new piece.

                  Their service is very cheap and slow.....

                  PRICE: 21000 X 2 = 42000

                  Within a month of Purchasing we had starting facing varios problems with both the pieces. Given below are the last 4 complaint nos.

                  4.[protected]/03/10 - 26/03/10

                  Kindly note that the above 4 complaints are only the latest ones and do not cover the total complaints which could be more 20 for each machine.

                  One of the machine was last repaired on 25/03/10 and I did not sign the complaint attendance form thinking I will not sign it without using the machine for at least a week. And incidently the machine has again stopped working today on 26/03/10.

                  Me and my family have been continously traumatised by this SUBSTANDARD product from IFB. We finally request IFB to replace the product or refund our money.

                    We had purchased an IFB washing machine ELITE-VX 7kg from RHYTHM HOUSE,sector-18,noida. From day one the clothes became rough and hard after washing in it. I has logged a number of complaints(recent complaint numbers-8516629,8935018) for the above stated problem ,he came twice ,checked the machine but was unable to resolve the issue. then he said that he will come next day with his senior technician but till date he has not come.

                    IFB WASHING MACHINE — POOR RESPONSE

                    I have registered a complaint regarding my IFB washing machine problem on 24th'FB'11 and subsequently i called the area service engineer to attend the problem. But there is no positive response from the area service engineer and there is no follow up from customer care also. Since my mother is aged and my wife also injured on her left hand, we are facing lot of trouble. I request the top management of IFB after sales and service to take the issue seriously to sort out the issue not only for me to all the suffered IFB customers.

NOW WHEN I REFUND MY ACCESS FEES BACK THEN THEY ARE GIVING ME LESS REFUND THEN WHAT THEY HAVE TO GIVE ME. HDBFC COURSE FEES IS 57K AND PGDBO COURSE FEES IS 88K.SO AS PER CALCULATION THEY HAVE TO REFUND ME 28K. BUT NOW THEY ARE JUST GIVING ME Rs.17648.                           I had purchased IFB dishwasher, model : ZEPHYR EX & serial no.[protected], on 12th March'2011. From the beginning the machine was not drying the utensils fully especially from the upper right side section and when complaint was given, I was told to put more shiner. Within 15days one bottle of shiner was consumed. After giving repeated complaints, the dish washer was taken to the workshop and returned after about 15-20days but the problem was not rectified. Firstly no one from the office was ready to listen to my problem and after repeated calls, the Zonal Manager agreed to replace the dish washer and I was told that the piece is not in stock but as soon as it will be they will replace it. I waited over a month and when no response came from their side, I called them up. The conversation broke the barrier of my patience as the Zonal Manager outrageously refused that he told me the dish washer will be replaced and when I told him that i'll go to consumer court, he said - "Do whatever you want to do". The whole experience of buying IFB Dish washer has been horrifying and equal to mental harassment due to the conversation with the office staff. The service has been pathetic and totally dis-satisfactory. I don't understand that when they know that the problem is from the beginning why are they not willing to replace it. I regret why I purchased IFB product and would never recommend anyone to buy it.

                          zephyr ex dish washer ifb — dishwasher not working

                          I am so sad to write this mail second time.i bought a dish washer on[protected].serial no[protected].model zephr ex.From the date of purshase, it is out of order sevaral times.we harldy used it only for few months.you are not providing adequate service.
                          Its now not working.it is not generating steam or cleaning dish.it is not turning off.All our relatives are making fun of this product.its irritating.please take measures to make it correct

                          Well, I went to IFB service center on Monday to submit the complain about my Dishwasher.
                          That guy on Service center told me that he'd come to my home next day to Fix it, and as usual he didn't come.
                          It had been like this ever since we bought the dishwasher, They tell us that they'd come on some day and they never visit.

                          The Problems in my Dishwasher are as follows.

                          1. The Door of the Machine is broken (The stuff that keeps its movements restricted, Last time when they came, They told us that there are some spring or something on the both side which are broken, He replaced one of those and then never came back to replace another)

                          2. The machine has stopped working, No problem with the power supply, But its non functional now (basically It isn't washing anything).

                          well, call it a ultimatum or whatever You want, If This continues, The hell I'll wait for this...I'm Going to Police or Consumer forum for this, I mean what do we expect? We Buy a worth Rs. 22, 000 stuff and there is literally no servicing...Really...they tell us to buy contracts of servicing..and that's the only time they visit us..when they tell us to renew the contract!
                          sorry for repeated error. By mistake 14th Dec'2011 is written as 12th March'2011... The purchase date of IFB dishwasher is 14th Dec'2011.
                          I am total agreement with the complainant as I am also suffering because of the poor quality of IFB dishwasher and their pathetic service support system. I purchased a machine in Dec 2011 and also went in for two years AMC. The machine initially worked well however it started malfunctioning. Complaints booked initially were attended but without any success but later even the company stopped attending complaints and despite apprising the managers and other senior officials no action has been taken by the IFB. I strongly recommend others not to buy products of IFB, if want to avoid such situation in future.

                            After AMC, no proper response from the team. They are telling technician not available.
                            So, please don't put annual AMC in IFB.

                            filed complaint for providing first service to the washing machine after using it for 7 months .at the time of demo assurance was given that costumer need not to remind for the services to be provided after every 3 months but inspite of lodging complaint nobody gave response.if your company is unable to do the needfull better to close your company

                            My IFB wshing machine stopped working in Dec 2010. I have made several complaints to their toll free number, service manager, his assitant, ifb manager etc and still the machine is idle (1march2011). Two times their service people visited and said they need a spare component and went away leaving the machine in dismantled condition. I am calling them every week only to find a new number and trying....but there is no response. The machine is idle for more than two months and inspite of having an annual maintanence contract (my id 623899), they do not care to service the machine. Pathetic IFB service.

                              I bought IFB top-loader Washing Machine on 18th May 2012 (from Noida) and we found it not working very next day, on[protected]. We lodged complaint on[protected] but the customer care is daily making just one statement since[protected]: "we are forwarding your complaint to the relevant department". No movement on my problem even after 10 days. I bought this machine from Rythm House, sector 18, Noida; when I contacted the dealer, I didn't get any kind of help.

                              After repeated follow ups, their sales-manager (not part of call center) has started saying that they'll replace the machine as the unit sold to me was "known to be faulty". And since they have sold me a faulty and phased-out machine, they'll give me a new model and I'll have to bear the extra cost of that new model. I am surprised how such a big MNC is making its customer fool.

                              Can someone let me know if I have a solid case to bring IFB and the dealer Rythm House to consumer court and get jsutice?

                                Complaint no. 8879115 resulted in arrival of technician to inspect the problem. The technician did nothing but promised to return next day with required components. NEVER returned despite of regular calls.
                                ADVICE to people planning to but IFB products - first learn to repair the machines and then buy them.
                                HOPELESS after sales service.

                                  Complaint No 8756640 client id NO1706377ated 30-4-'12. replacement of drum not complied with so far despite several calls made during the last 27 days. Five technicians visited and checked on 7th,15th,21st and 25th. No unanimity of opinion among service technicians with the result rectification is prolonged. The local Executive Manager
                                  is not exercising his responsibilities properly even after instructions from Madras region. Simply dancing to the tunes of the local contractor and supporting the illogical attitude. Do instruct to settle the issue at once failing which the the horrible behaviour and the irresponsible attitude of the officials will aired through the local vernacular dailies or remedy will be sought for through consumer council with damage claim.

                                  IFB WASHING MACHINE — Im proper Service

                                  I have purchased IFB washing machine 3yrs ago and since then we are not happy with the functioning.

                                  There are complaints in some form or other.

                                  There is always water leaking at regular intervals and also the clothes are not being washed.

                                  The sevrcice technicians are also not to the expected level of servicing. They will provide some temporary service show that the washing machine is running and they will go. After couple of months again the problem is surfacing again.
                                  I have purchased IFB washing machine 7yrs ago and since then we are not happy with the functioning.
                                  in every one year give some type of problems.

                                  IFB WASHING MACHINE — Improper Service

                                  I dont know how what is IFB's policy on after sales support or maintenance. I dont think there is any policy at all, or the policy is only to cheat the customer. My washing machine is under AMC, but it is down for 24 days. If there is one Executive in the company who is worth his salt, he will respond to customer complaint. Everytime there is a new maint person, which indicates that trained persons dont stick on to the company. It must be their attitude! If customers dont get preference, how would employees/franchisees get support?

                                  Is there a customer Service manager, who check the status of complaints? There is none. Please be very careful in dealing with IFB.

                                  IFB WASHING MACHINE — POST SALES SUPPORT

                                  The worst service technicians at STAR AGENCIES in Ernakulum. Also the response time is very poor. The technicians are not having knowledge of how to diagnostics the trouble shooting. My suggestion is to look for some other companies to have an expertise..

                                    i have purchased ifb washing machine model:AW7233.When its packing was removed by the technician ,he found 2 connectors and 1 hot pipe missing(a rare case in brand new washing machine). I registered complaint with the customer care on that day itseif(18.05.20132)ticket number8862351.Next day its lid came out and machine started showing E3 error.it works till washing option and when it comes to rinse option it starts showing E3 ERROR.Again i register complaint with the customer care (ticket number8862351) .technician visited our house on monday morning and was not able to fix the problem. Now idon't want to keep this faulty washing machine and want either replacement or my money back.itis under warranty.

                                      Kindly help me regarding the issues that I have been facing with a faulty washing machine since I purchased this machine. The problem with this faulty machine has started within a month from date of Purchase. Below are the complaint details.

                                      I was patient enough to see if the issues would be resolved. But the issue remained and so we have approached the Service centre senior Engineer Mr.Steven at Tadbund,Secunderabad. He confirmed that it was a faulty machine and it will continue to have problems. SO we escalated the issue to his manager Mr.Ramakrishna who is incharge of sales & Service for Andhra Region.

                                      After looking at all our above complaints and having series of discussions with his engineers. He agreed to change all parts of the machine and promised us to exchange the machine, if at all same issue’s happen again. He also suggested us to pay 1,143 /- Rs towards extended warranty on 15/4/2009. The extended warranty would commence from 23/8/2010 to 22/8/2012.

                                      Upon delivery of the machine with all spare parts changed the issue has become worst. Below are the complaint No’s with dates after changing all the spare parts.

                                      We have updated the issues with Mr.Ramakrishna and suggested us a solution, but he never bothered to help us out and was further trying to postpone the issue rather than guiding us with appropriate solution. He is perhaps waiting for the warranty to get expired and delay things until then.


                                      We have further escalated the issue reaching head office. Spoke to the Senior Engineers Mr.Lohit, Mrs.Rajeshwari and Mr.Mustafa. They suggested that they are working on the issue and have escalated the issue to senior most officials “Mr. chakravarthy” at IFB and we should get a response within 24hrs. Some suggested they will take the machine to head office and get it fixed, just be patient. But no one has reverted back to us until now we have been waiting for past 3 months.

                                      Whenever we try to follow up the case calling the head office at toll free No. [protected], the customer support are either suggesting us that the Senior Engineers Mr. Lohit, Rajeshwari and Mustafa are either busy or left for the day and will get back to us. Actually they never called us back at.all.

WITHIN 15DAYS AGAIN PROBLEM HAS COME & PERSONALLY GONE SO MANY TIMES TO YOUR SERVICE CENTRE WITH GREAT DIFFICULTY REPLACED MOTOR AFTER 4 MONTHS.                                         IFB top loading — not working

                                        I have purchased an IFB top loading washing machine from chennai, Jainsons, Mylapore, during 2007 and it was working and given two years warranty,. Even after warranty, no body has come for renewal. Unfortunately the machine was not functioning. When I made a call to call centrie, t hey told that they will send the people within 24 hours. Two days has passed nobody has attnded. After my perisiting contacts through your various offices, like area manger, Sales manager, nothing has come out. Lastly one of the person came and told that the same cannot be repaired. It take 45 days to rectify that too evenafter doing AMC. Even if go for an exchange deal I can purchase new machine.
                                        EVEN I KNOW THIS LETTER WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESULTS,
                                        THE NAME YOU GOT HAS SPOILED YOUR FACE.
