I have purchase IFB Microwave Rotesserie Model no MWO 30SRC1 on dt06.03.2011 at. 03.52pm from Sargam Electronics (dealar) lodge the for Demo on same day no. is 6011487 Id. 2741667. the dealar told me that on monday or tuesday before 2.00pm demo will done. I have remind the dealar and company helpline no.[protected] at 3.24pm call attanded by Mr. Amjad he told me i am directing your complaint to delhi one Mr. Sanjay and he given me the Branch manager no. Mrs. gitanjali [protected], 30889678 both the nos. no body lifting the phone. this is the service provide by IFB company to customer. help me to take action

    OUR IFB SERENA SX 5.5 KG MACHINE AFTER FEW DAYS OF PURCHASE STARTED LOT OF SOUND WHILE WASHING. AND WHEN INFORMED THE SERVICE CENTER, SERVICE ENGINEER AFTER VISIT INFORMED THAT RING IN THE MACHINE IS MISSING AND WILL ARRANGE AND COME. BUT 3 4 MONTHS HAS PASSED AND HE HAS NOT COME TILL DATE TO REPAIR. IT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE TO SAY THAT WE HAVE TO FACE LOT OF SUFFERING BY PURCHASING THE APPLIANCES OF SUCH A REPUTEED COMPANY. YOU ARE REQUESTED TO TAKE IMMEDIATE STEPS TO RECTIFY THE MACHINE.

      I have regsitered on toll free number for service of IFB washing machine model Supreme, under annual maintenace contract-date of complaint 22-02-11, complaint no 5941425 - heavy knocking noise during washinh/spin cycle. Only a week earler they changed the bearings for high noise during spin cycle. On 23-02-11 , Mr Rathinaselvam(RKInternational-franchise) visited ,just tuched the machine and claimed machine drum needs to be replaced. He was only eager to renew the AMC contract for two years. I was prmised that with two/three days a new drum will be installed since the machine was under service contract 0026573 valis till 25/02/11. Anyway I signed AMC for two years and paid Rs4572-00,vide receipts 57948,57549 dt 23/2/11.
      I requested him to open the rear door ,inspect the machine and show me also the damaged drum as I suspected the knokcing noise may come from improper fixing of drum during earlier visit one week earler. Mr. Rathinaselvam refused to show the part damaged.He felt earler repairs during bearing change is incomplete and new drum is absolutely needed, which is in short supply
      Even after 13days the comaplaint is not attended and there is lack of response from the office located in Vadapalani .
      I finally open the rear door to have a look at the machine. I found that rear support of drum is not fixed properly leading to vibration and noise. I took photopgrahs immediately, tightened the nut on rear support and took photos again.
      I hope the IFB authorities will have now time to look atleat photos and take proper action.
      After paying full AMC and waiting two weeks for maintenance/replacement , I must say customer service is not at all satisfactory.
      Never call a service request one or two weeks before expiry of annual maintenace contract.You will be forced for new contract on empty promises of 24 hour service attendance.
      lack of trained man power seems to be usual excuise. Service Enginner complains IFB does not stock spare drums in sufficient number . All these are weak excuses given by franchise on unsuspecting customer. I paid for AMC that is not satisfactory and ended up attending to it myself ater two weeks of waiting. When will the company find time to repair my wshing machine?

      IFB — Not getting AMC support

      Dear Sir / Ma'am,

      1. Refer to telephonic complaint no 5064945 dated 07 Sep 10 regarding AMC support on 7 kg Digital washing machine. Repeated talking to customer care, Branch Co-ordinator, Branch Manager etc etc TO-DATE ie 22 Sep hasn't worked. At least 20 calls have been made to different people which include Mr Bhatnagar, Mr Vikas etc but no-one seems to be interested in AMC support.

      2. DOOR NOT OPENING. CLOTHES ARE STUCK INSIDE THE MACHINE SINCE 07 SEP 10 AND GETTING SPOILT. REQUIRED TO BE URGENTLY OPENED.

      NOT LOOKING FOR RESOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM AT THIS POINT IN TIME.

      JUST WANT THE DOOR TO BE OPENED, SO THAT CLOTHES CAN BE TAKEN OUT.

      Washing Machine — AMC not honoured

      A complaint was registered with customer care 0n 11/11/2010 complaint no
      5408268 ,Customer ID 2017821 It is pain ful to note nothing has been done till date
      Local service personnel visited could not able do do any thing except that bearing need to be replaced and informed that some body will come. The service cupon was also not signed by me.The main complaint was Door opened during operation
      and spinng was not effective. Till date number phone calls made and no service persons have responded giving all false promises.Keeping the high reputation of IFB in the market to arrange for immediate action and deal with pupil who have failed

      IFB simply appoints franchisees who in turn appoints some poorly trained service personnel to carry out the repair work. Those folks will invariably persuade you to get into AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) and collect money on the spot. Later, they won't show up in case of complaints and dishonour the AMC even after repeated attempts to contact them. This is happening in most of the cases. There is no facility to complain to the IFB company except a few toll free numbers which will be answered by call center employees. It seems this is a well designed scam aimed at looting the customers. The customers will need to approach the consumer court or take any other appropriate legal measures. No doubt, the company (IFB) will have to pay penalties and this will badly affect their reputation. All consumers are to be careful not to repeat their mistakes again and never buy IFB washing machines or any other product. The existing customers should take care not to get into AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) with them. It is far better to approach third party repair service providers in case of issues with IFB washing machines.

        my ifb executive washing machine didn't working properly since 12.12.2010.. on next day i complaint to ifb customercare executive on 13.12.210. he said that i accepted ur request, ur complaints numb is 5552278 & i send u service man ur home mr santhosh[[protected]] next day mr santhosh came to my home & check the washing machine, he said the problem was machine motor.i said that it's ok replace it..he told that ok i come & replace it tomorrow.. after there week he didnt came ones again i complaints to customercare they given another numb[[protected]] i call that numb she pick my call miss fathima & she also given to me one serviceman numb[[protected]] mr ravi ganesh i call but he doesnt pick my call.. three month goesup, still now no one replace that motor & not solve my complaints so plz solve my problem

          I refer to my complaint dated 18/02/2011 and subsequent visit of your agent Mr. Kuljit. Amongst other issues, my complaint is related to "selector buttons not working". While 2-3 buttons of the machine do not work, your rep stated that only one (main on/off button) will be replaced and that too is not in stock. I am still waiting for the same to arrive and would like all defective parts to be replaced. Please advise how long it will take??

          I would also like to add that the machine purchased by me on 24/12/2010, was delivered at my residence in an open carton and had water in its pipes and the "Additives chamber" was also full of water. I was told by the person who came for installation that this was because of testing of machine in Godown. Till initial 3-4 uses water used to remain in "Additives chamber" which now gets totally drained out. I therefore suspect that a used and defective machine has been passed on to me and am finding your response very disappointing. Please take urgent action for complete redressal of all issues.

          IFB SENATOR 6 KG WASHING M/C — DEFECTIVE PRODUCT /HORRIBLE SERVICE & RESPONSE

          we have been constantly complaining since last2 months for the w/mc. there is lot o[censored]nhealthy / strange metal banging noise.

          parts like front dispenser panel, front full panel, bottom filter panel, bottom full panel have also been replaced.

          we have twice replaced on payment door ring, door lock.

          now also position is the same & & no mechanic from ifb has attended the m/c. on 21.jun some one from ifb has verified the complain & had informed us that it is scheduled to be attended on 23.june.
          we are very disappointed with the service & defect evaluation capabilities of the mechanics & request the machine to be replaced with out delay

          IFB 6 KG Senator — Bad product and worst service

          I totally regret buying the 6 KG front loading Senator a IFB washing machine. Not only is the product not good quality - it has got spoilt 2 times within one year. The response to the complaint for repair is met with the most inefficiency I have encountered for any whitegoods product in the last couple of years. Inspite of repeaded calls and reminders, no one turns up after giving a time and one is just left waiting and waiting.

          IFB Senator 6kg Washing Machine — No service, don't care attitude not bothered about the customer's valuable time

          After lodgining the complaint and fixing the time with service guy I took a break from office to show him the problem. He opened the maichine quickly said that this will be done on Monday. (The day on which I took him was Saturday). I requested the service center to send techniian on Monday evening as that is a working day for me. They agreed. However the service centers of these branded prdocuts are not working on Sunday. On Monday morning when I called service center to reconfrim my appointment the lady on the phone behaved as thorugh she is not aware of my appointment and said that she will send the technicians based on the availability. Not knowing what to do I called Washing machine Clinic for service help and booked them to repair my machine. In the evening at 5:30pm one person from IFB service center called me to check if he can come immideatly. I told that I have cancelled the complaint as I have not received the proper response.

          IFB SENATOR 6Kg Washing machine — The dryer is not functioning

          I have purchased IFB 6 KG senetor automatic washing machine in 2008 with 2 years waranty and additional 2 years extra waranty. The machine is always problematic and the the office asks us for receipt numbers date etc. for extra warantee, indicating they do not even maintain proper records. The automatic waching machine does not dry the cloths as the spin does not work. Most immetured operators come for servicing and they beat the meachine from all sides to make the loose contact pins to make contact. This is definitely not expected from IFB company, whose reputation is at stake now.

          inspite of my complaints launched in airtel customer care online no response is received from their end and no cce is picking up the calls.every time useless options are being told and the line is disconnected when i select the option of talking to a cce. i am fed up of their responses.

          IFB SENATOR 6Kg Washing machine — Poor Quality Product

          Purchased IFB SENATOR 6 KG Washing machine on 21.10.2010 with 4 years warranty.The machine has had perpetual problems from the time of purchase.Every month technician has to be called to attend to the faults.Machine does non operational at least 7 days in a month.Till date under warranty IFB has changed the drum - 3 times,motor 2 times,heater once,front door packing 2 times,time4 4 times and various other minor problems have been attended.With the amount spent on the parts IFB could have replaced the defective piece.Today also the machine is not working reason stated in awaiting spare part.Have sent number of messages on IFB web site but have had no response.
          Kindly take up with the manufacturer.

            IFB person has visit for demo where he informed that Grill stand is missing which you can get from Dealer i.e. vijay sales.
            I have called Vijay sales person for more then 10 times, for which they have inform we will give you in short time.

            Still i have not receive IFB grill.

            I am not able to cook any item and its of NO use.

              I purchased an IFB Washing machine model AW6563 on 12 oct 2009 and it was fitted by the IFB technician on 15 oct 09. All accessories and water extension pipe are genuine IFB accessories and are covered under same warrantee. The inlet water hose has started leaking. Complaint was registered on companies helpline ( complaint no 39849475 and 5954517 last on 23 feb 2011) The franchisee technician Mr viky visited the site and is insisting that the genuine IFB water inlet hose supplied alongwith the machine cannot be replaced and I have to purchase another system.

              My request is that any genuine company item supplied with the machine purchased from the company necessary for the functioning of the machine is an integral part of the machine itself and if the customer is not responsible for misuse and neglect (as in this case) and the machine is defective bacause of a design defect (coupling of water inlet hose) then the company may kindly replace it under warantee

                I ordered a washing machine from csd canteen chennai dated on 02-feb-2011, still its not delivered. When i called up and asked they told that there is no fund in csd canteen, so delivery will happen only after april and also they added up that persons who bought on jan has not got the delivery. It means if we buy a w/m through csd we have to wait for 3 month.

                If they would have told us earlier while the payment we would not have bought the washing machine in canteen

                In csd canteens fort chennai and csd canteen in ins rajali arakkonam persons another unit canteen smart card holders (online card given authorisation for purchase at any csd canteen), are not allowed in main gate to purchase liquor and grocery authorised.

                In this connection already given complaints to the following authorities. However no any orders for solve the problems, recieved on requests from the following e mail authorities so for:-

                  Sir/Madam,I had bought a IFB Microwave oven 30 sc 1.My Oven is under AMC(ANNUAL MAINTANENCE CONTRACT) where I had paid Rs.1371.00 on 12.08.2010 for the same.My oven started giving problems on the last week of september 2010.I had given a complaint to the IFB Consumer services on september 2010.Till date no one has turned up to repair my oven.I had called and requested them to do the needful atleast 30 times.Only empty promises till date.Since they troubled me for not repairing my oven ,it is lying as a garbage.For the company's reckless,unfriendly,irresponsible and fraud behavior and attitude,I definetely want the company to give me a new microwave oven of the same catogory.IFB -worst service,they absorbed my energy,wasted my hard earned money,killed my precious time.I WANT JUSTICE.PLEASE HELP.

But, surprised to note that not even a proper single placement opportunity provided in banking sector from your institution even though you have promised to provide placement immediately after completing the course successfully.While joining they told completely sales job will not be given only either partial or cross selling jobs with more operational work.But now they all are providing and forcing to join sales job.Otherwise they are not at all provinding any other oppurtunities at all.For last 6 months we have been waitng for the placements to happen.While joining and paying the fees the people at bangalore center were making us to believe we will be getting placement.But now each of them don’t know what they promised to us .We have waited for so long and we are very sad to know tht center head it self don’t know when placements will happen.Even placement officer don’t know the fate of placements.This sort of attitude is happening even for earlier batches please clarify reality of the situation. When we visited there they talking like she all is our girl friend and make us full so please don't believe in ifbi's fake girlfriend because they seat there only make for full the student and please it's our request don't take admission in this fake institutions.

                    Now we all inform to Raj Thakre MNS leader so he told us that we will take action's for this class so we hope as soon as possible our Raj Sir will do something for this fake class.

AFTER MARCH, SHE SAID THAT BATCH WILL POSITIVELY STARTS IN FIRST WEEK OF APRIL. LIKE THIS SHE GAVE ME SEVERAL DATES. BUT MY CLASSES ARE NOT STARTED YET. AND THEY GAVE ME ILLOGICAL AND UNREASONABLE ANSWERS IN RETURN. SHE SEND ME THE MAIL IN WHICH SHE STATED THAT BATCH WILL POSITIVELY STARTS ON 20 MAY'2013 BUT STILL THERE'S NO CLASSES.
                    AFTERWARDS I TALKED TO MR. CHIRAG BHAGAT HEAD OF IFBI DELHI REGION. HE ALSO GAVE ME UNREASONABLE LOGICS.
                    I ALSO WROTE A COMPLAINT TO IFBI ASSIST FOR THE SAME BUT DIDNT TAKE ANY ACTION TILL DATE

                      When the machine is switched on and the machine is on the spinning position the machine doesn't stay in one place and keep on moving and making big noise. ;Even after the full wash is completed, water gets stagnated inside and because of this the clothes are wet. I made a complaint on 4th February and again on 8th and so far no response from the reputed company. I contacted one Mr. Duraisamy in moble No.[protected], one technician by name Munisamy in his moble [protected]. Whenever I cantact the usual reply is the spare parts are not readily available. I am a senior citizen and how many days I can pull on like this without washing my clothes? Now my complaint is transfetted from Valasarvakkam branch to Vadapalani branch and I was asked to contact Niranjan in 30288510 and I contacted this number on 17th Feb and again on 21st Feb and one lady contacted me and gave me the usual reply that one technician will come to your house today. Now the last thing I can do is to approach the consumer court to redress my griecance.

                        I purchased IFB Senator 6 kg washing machine from Vasant Kunj outlet of the company's authorised vendor M/s Pankaj Electronics, Green Park, New Delhi vide Invoice number 12914 dated 24/12/2010. The trolley and other items worth over Rs.2600/ were also purchased from company. The machine developed faults from day one like its selector buttons not working, heavy vibrations and clothes remaining very wet despite spinning on speeds of 700 and 900 . First complaint was lodged within a fortnight of purchase. The service person informed that he had balanced the machine and other faults will go with regular usage/balanced loads etc.. As the problems persisted I have lodged several complaints- last being no.5774990 ; 5856861 (on 5th Feb.) and 5884873 (on 11th Feb). I regret to inform that no one has attanded to the complaints and the phone numbers provided by company's Helpline are not even picked up. I am feeling cheated and regret having bought the machine which is apparently faulty. Pls get the matter looked into on priority. Thanks.

                          Dear IFB Washing machine prospective customers,

                          I had gone to one of a reputed showroom in Guntur for purchase of IFB Senator Washing Machine.

                          To my utter surprise, the showroom salesperson advised against going in for purchase of IFB Washing Machine citing after sales service issues and lack of trained technicians to rectify any problem. He also added that life becomes miserable once any complaint arises. When I requested him to suggest some alternative make, he politely refused and asked to look for the same on my own by referring to friends and relatives.

                          Pls consult existing users before buying IFB washing machines.

                            ipurchased sr.no wt ELN BWT ELNEX B 057722 model on 1895 and sought extended warrenty upto 1792009. as and when I called for service;every time they sell me onepowder namely Dixit. orally the service provider assured warrenty for rubber slever and limitation of warrentydoes not include rubber slaver at the time of purchse; the service provider tookRs.724 for rubber slaver in the month of oct 2008 as the machine was leaking. thereafter in march 2009 again machine started leaking. however after repeated complaint to service provider one person came and he worsened the condition and leakage improved .so they called again. one mr.more service provider came see and went on assurance to substitute one internal pipe witin two hours. however he told that whatever accesaries he needs, he donot possess and he is avoiding to come.
                            A complaint was lodged for non function of the IFB washing machine which was under warrenty, on 30th April, 09 but till 6th May, 09 no service engineer has been attending. I have been calling their call center and their local office at Bangalore om 28530789 but there is no response. With great difficulty I got the service engineer's number Mr.Senthil [protected], but he refuses to take calls anymore. My complaint ticket number was 29811494.

                            I want to sue this company for the damages and also loss of time as I was waiting for the service engineer from monday till wednesday (4th to 6th May)

                            Dear Sir,

                            As per my discussion regarding above with your Quality Head, Mr. V.S. Parihar (at Bhopal), the case is still pending for your kind consideration.

                            Although you would be aware of the case, but still I would like to bring the same to your kind knowledge that my washing machine tears cloths. Ordinary/thick cloths torn like a cut and hosiery/vests, etc. get holed in a group.

                            Almost none of you executives could detect the defect, even after 6 months’ continuous every type of check up on-site/off-site. I know such cases do not arise in branded item (that’s why people buy branded), but rarely they do, and this could be one of them.

                            In fact, the problem was from initial but I observed it later and since then I have been complaining the same since last one year, but still the problem persists. I’ve got fad up with the problem because my cloths are being damaged, and the matter is still not being taken seriously. I may approach for my rights to consumer forum.

                            I request you to please send my cloths back (which have been taken by your executives with a promise to return within 10 days or payment will be given, but even after 1½ months lapsed neither has been done). Should I collect them also from court ! It would also be given to the media as well.
                            I had purchased IFB Elite -5 Kg washing machine in Feb'08 and paid a sum approx. Rs 20, 000. And the machine stopped working o 5th Oct 2008. The first complaint # was 2258780 and was closed after a cat and mouse game with the service center (Faridabad) and the call center (Bengaluru) in more than two weeks.
                            I had realised then only, that it was a big mistake to purchase IFB washing machine. But, I thought that may be now the machine should not give me any problems. But now on 23rd May 2009 (when the machine is still under warranty) it is again not working. And once again the service center is trying to set up new standards of no after sales service. The technician, who has been attending my ticket, is clueless about the problem and thus I am left with a huge junk on metal crap in my house.

                            I am already petrified about the time, when the warranty will be over and I would have to pay money to get the machine working every 3-4 months. IFB charges a whopping amount of Rs 300.00 per visit. I should stop eating now, in order to save money for my washing machine. (Height of irony).

                            I have decided that I notice some one purchasing IFB washing machine, I would be glad to share my experience with them.

                            We brought a IFB washing maching last year july (2008).After bringing the machine it is not woking properly.My parents has given complaint to local IFB technician so many times. He used to come and rectify the problem.After rectifying the problem it will work for 10-12 days and again it starts giving us the same problem.They have replaces the three parts in the wasing machine but no use some or the other it keep on get damaged.we have payied around 30, 000 for washing machine.It hasn't worked properly atleast a month also.The service which they are providing is very bad.we complained on 8th of this month also they said they are going to resolve the issue within 24 hours but till now it hasn't been rectified.I have logged the complaint on 15th, 16th also but no use, please help me regarding this.

                            IFB Washing machine 7KG Digital — IFB Washing Machine 2 Month Old Malfunctioning

                            My IFB 7 KG DIGITAL machine (Paid Rs. 29,000) which is just 2 month old (purchased in Jul 2009) is coming up with problems after problems with every operation/cycle malfunctioning. The machine’s censors, etc started malfunctioning within a month. The machine doesn't function without manually pressing the button even at any given cycle, whether it’s in hot/cold, short/long, cotton/synthetic/woolen and what not.

                            I complaint IFB customer service on the 13th of Aug 2009 and a technician visited and identified problem with sensor/switch that cuts the water level and needed to be, however, he added that the part is not available and cannot give me any date when it will be available and instead asked me to follow up with their customer service with a gentleman by the name of Mr. Barry (in Mumbai). That surely matched their high impact pre-sales pitch....I thought.

                            I called Mr. Barry on the 17th and he promised to get me the parts and repair done in 2 days. Today it’s over 2 weeks (Sep 1, 2009) and I have been calling repeatedly to get some help, however, continuously reminded something known as "total customer service failure, ineffective in dealing with any customers situation, and inconsistent in creating any memorable customer experience". And I am still waiting for a return phone call/email or visit to get me through this problem. How simple it can be?

                            I can't believe a reputed company like IFB could put their product in the market without proper quality check or service.

                            I am totally baffled with IFB's management, their service and wondering with so much competition and the consumer power to switch product with a flick of a switch how long IFB will sustain with such inconsistent communication. It's very surprising to realize that none of their corporate numbers or management can be accessible.

                            IN SHORT, IFB's SERVICE IS EXTREMELY POOR SO BE AWARE BEFORE YOU END UP WITH THEIR PRODUCTS.

                            front door is leaking since the 1st day we bought our front loading 7kg digital washing machine.its been 2 weeks now andno one in the company cares.i have sent atleast 5 mails and given 5 reminders to the complaint centre but still no response.pathetic and horrible service i have got after spending 28000 rs.the worst experience of my life till now,all because of a world class company.
                            On 20 th Nov I lodged a complaint for my washing machine. it is under AMC .Then after two days the technician came and said he would come and repair in two days and till date I have called them umpteen times but every time they make excuse and till date no one has come. Please help
                            I complained IFB last week about the malfunctioning of the washing machine. They promised to come and fix the problem by last Friday. Nobody from IFB contacted us until Monday. Due to the urgency of the situation, we only contacted IFB customer care and requested for immediate attention. Finally, a rude technician showed up on Monday night who only diagnosed the issue and told us that he had to come back yesterday with the parts (belts to be precise) to fix it. He promised that at any cost, he would show up before 11 am. By the time he arrived, it was past 1 pm. Now, he had another version of story. He mentioned that mere fixing of the belts wouldnt suffice and he had to get some welding done for which the drum of washing machine had to be taken out somewhere outside and brought back and then fix it. Today, 2 guys came in (one was the same rude guy and the other person was even more worser) and have ruthlessly spoilt the walls of my house while meddling with the washing machine. When questioned about the unprofessional way they were handling, the worser guy of the 2 has verbally abused my wife and left. Especially, when my wife alone was at home and she having faced this situation with these 2 guys, anything could have happened. This shows what kind of support staff IFB has with them. We have spoken with several people at IFB customer care since last week (regarding the service) and so far, we have been receiving only worser treatment from their staff. I am amazed at the apathy shown by IFB towards its customers. I am in Bangalore and can be reached at[protected] and I will give complete details about the whole incident. I hope somebody from IFB will bother to see this complaint and respond favorably.

                            IFB Fully Auto Washing Machine — No response on complaints

                            I had purchased IFB Fully Automatic top loading washing machine Model no. AW60-8062 on 10.12.2008. it came with a warranty till 9.12.2012. My customer code is 1717263. Within six months o[censored]sage the machine developed snags. There was a substantial increase in its noise and its performance deteriorated. Despite many complaints, the mechanics from IFB never checked the machine properly and only came for superficial visits On 22.01.2010 I again made a complaint (No. 405988) as the noise from the machine was now deafening, however the mechanic assured us that this was normal. On 3rd of april 2010 (complaint no. 4342016) the machine stopped drying clothes completely. There was no response despite repeated reminders. On 16.04.10 a company mechanic after much persuasion examined the machine and found the clutch plate to be broken. He left promising to repair it soon and has not been back since. The machine is completely stalled now.
                            Kindly get the machine exchanged as soon as possible as the company very obviously does not have any skilled engineers available who can repair the machine.
                            I want to register a complaint about the poor (to say the least) service by the IFB washing machine; The Vadapalani service provider renewed the AMC of my front loading WM two months earlier to the expiry of my previous year AMC on the assurance that the rubber linings will be replaced free of cost. The person never turned up to change the linings as assured.
                            Now they say the AMC does not include replacement of rubber parts. Then, why should they or I renew the AMC two months earlier? The mechanic who last "attended" to my repeated complaints was "kind" enough to make the machine permanently leaking. The AMC Receipt cum Invoice No. 13564 dated 01/07/09 issued by IFB representative S. Suresh.

                            no. of Ms. Gitanjali,who promised me to get back. Not answering a call or delaying service for such a long time without talking to customer is unethical and undesireable. This attracts violation of provisions of Consumer Act as also that of MRTP Act.

                                Respected sir,

                                This is with regard to our ifb dishwasher. We have an ifb dishwasher neptune model, which we have been using for about four and a half years now. Suddenly during the first week of december 2010 the machine suddenly stopped working and we registered a complaint with the ifb authorized franchise service center at anna nagar, chennai which is being run in the name of sai enterprises [address - ap732, gblock, 2nd street, 11th main road, anna nagar west, chennai 600040. Phone [protected]/[protected]] by a person by name mr elumalai, after repeated calls and constant chasing for nearly more than fifteen days a technician by name mr boopathy was sent. Some haphazard job was done only to end in futility and we were told that the program chip[neptune pcb and hose] needed to be replaced and were asked to pay an amount of 4200, for which an sbi cheque for the amount was given by my father. The cheque was en cashed within a couple of days but no one from ifb came and replaced the parts. So the chasing and phone calls continued for another fifteen days after which mr elumalai came and replaced the parts, but the machine functioned partially but there was a leak and our kitchen was flooded. We were again asked to shell out another 1800 rupees on 17/01/2011 for an aqua filter replacement to control the leek and after en cashing the money again no one turned up. So continued the chasing and repeated phone calls, where in mr elumalai convinced us that he could check the machine and set it right only at the service center and not at our home. So it was taken to the service center on the pretext of setting it right within three days and deliver it back. Even after 22 days the machine was not delivered back to us and the concerned person would avoid answering our repeated calls or would keep his phone switched off or else someone at his office would pick the call and say that he was unavailable. Again we had to literally repeatedly knock at his doorstep every day and beg him to deliver our machine. Then after we told him that we would wait no but had no other option but to proceed legally against his enterprise the machine was delivered on last saturday evening[12/02/2011], but it was not installed. Now he is dillydallying to come and fix the machine and has not sent any technician so far. Ifb is morally responsible for all the ordeal, troubles and harassment that we have undergone for the past nearly two months. The license of such careless and non service oriented establishments should be cancelled and they should be prevented from cheating people by giving them all kind of lofty and rosy promises at the time of sales.in spite of shelling out huge amount of money for replacement of parts we are still unable to use the equipment due to the callous and arrogant nature of the ifb company as well as its franchise service center. My sincere advice to all citizens never go in for purchase of any ifb products, they offer the worst after sales services and have only half baked technicians who do not know to do their job. Hope i can get some justice for all troubles we have undergone, as we had even cancelled our appointment with doctors when some of our house member's health were not so good and waited for these people's services based on their false un kept lousy promises and deadlines.

                                  SUB : Defective IFB Washing Machine & Inefficient Service

                                  I had purchased my IFB Washing machine in May 27 2007. Since inception, my washing machine has been giving me immense problem which has not been rectified as of today. In support of my complain I am giving below some of my complain number related to one problem and that is when the machine is on run it make a horrible sound.

                                  On November 30, 2010 I made a similar complaint regarding the sound that the machine was making when on the run. The service engineer who came to attend the complaint told us that the trolly built by the company for the machine is defective, hence the sound in the machine and insisted to purchase the new trolly launched by the company recently. He further asked to add a water filter for improved washing. We bought the water filter and he attached it to the machine itself However, no receipt of the filter bought has been given to us till date. He also changed the start button as there was some problem with it also.
                                  The very next day when I put some clothes to be washed, but the machine did not budge and showed E-7 error. We again lodged a complaint with customer care and posted a mail on December 3, 2010 for the same (reply to which is still awaited). The engineer came to see the machine and said that there is some problem with the Digital Board and he changed the Digital board of the machine. But as soon as he went off the machine is not working at all and showed E2 error i.e. insufficient water supply. From that day we actually learnt about the E2 errors mentioned in the IFB manual.
                                  After that many verbal complaint has been lodged with your Branch Service Head in New Delhi (Ms. Deepika ) and Franchise Head (Mr. Hari), as the machine has started giving me problem of E-2 at every wash.
                                  The Service engineer during one of his visit took out the filter and I hoped that the machine would now work properly, but in vain. The Engineers who come to visit are now saying that the water pressure is not appropriate and hence the E-2 error is showing. Since I was attaching the pipe of the water supply with the tap of my overhead tank (approximate height is about 10 – 12 ft.), he suggested I should go for the fresh water tap. Here I would like to mention that the water supply in our area is only for a hour and none of the programmes in the machine is within the time limit of the water supply (except for quick wash).
                                  I would like to mention that I do agree with their deliberations, but my logic is that if that is the case why did the machine not showed such an error in past, as the machine is kept in the same place and the same circumstances for the last two years. If it is so then was the Digital Board put earlier in the machine was defective, because all these problems started occurring after its replacement.
                                  Talking to the service engineer has proved to be futile as they are so rude and discourteous that at time I feel guilty to have even bought the reputed machine like IFB. I would like to ask that whether Service Engineers are only for selling different products of IFB or are they for complaint redressal? Company claims that the complaints are to be attended / rectified within 48 hrs. But I am sorry to say that inspite of my several complaints as evident from above and several delebrations that too for the last 75 days my problem has not been solved.
                                  I therefore request you to intervene into the matter urgently, so that my faith in IFB remains intact.

                                    I have purchased a front end load washing machine with model number Elite Dx 5.5 kg on 9th oct. 2010.
                                    Due to some technical problems, the machine stopped working on 29th Jan 2011, and the same day i lodged a complain with the customer care dept of the IFB Home appliances with complaint number 5820827.

                                    The company's technician attended the complaint only on 1st feb., that after 4 days of lodging the coomplaint. After inspecting the machine he told me that the PCB of the machine is to be replaced and it may take 2-3 days time.

                                    10 days have passed since and the company has not taken any step to replace the PCB. I have been following up the matter with their local service centre and call centre. The local service centre said that the spare is not available with them and it has to come from ahmedabad. today i spoke to thier representative at ahmedabad ( Mr. Ketan Hingu) and he informed me that it will take further 3 days as there is an acute shortage of spare parts.

                                    Is this the way, such a renowned home appliances co. is treating its customers? its a shame that even after 14 days have passed, they r not able to rectify my problem.

                                      I have purchased IFB Washing machine Senator Model 2 years before. Three months before machine was not working, I have given complaint to customer care. A person came and attended the problem, he said water fell on the motor so its damaged and advised to change the motor and also said it costs Rs. 6500 exclusive of service charges. After that he suggested if you go for 2 years maintenance option it will be less than Rs. 5000 and service free for 2 years. Then I agreed and taken AMC. After 10 days he came and replaced the motor and board the machine was not working properly, then he said the board brought by him is faulty one by mistake he brought it and committed to bring new one on next day. Next day he came and replaced the board and shown me the machine is now working; he said ON/OFF switch will not work needs to be changed but It will be available only after 30 days, and asked him about the fitment of bottom piece (it was not fitted properly) he said during changing the switch he will fit it properly. Next day I was happily started using the machine that time only I found that dryer is not working, immediately I have called the person and informed the problem. After frequent reminder he didn’t come (most of the time he didn’t pick my call) and after 10 days he Cooley said that he is quite busy and asked me to give complaint at customer care. I have registered complaint again, one person Mr. Madhavan came and checked the machine and said the board is faulty and agreed to replace the board. He said after 2 days he will bring the board, after 2 days he called me at evening and said I am on the way to your house and asked me to be at house, I have taken permission from office (my wife also working) and stayed at house. He didn’t come, I called him after 3 calls he attended my call and said he is very near to my house. He didn’t come, this was happened several times; afterwards he avoid to attend my calls, one month passed out. I am unable to use my machine since 3 months I am paying Rs. 800/ month for washing our clothes to house maid. Please suggest how to repair my washing machine and also suggest how to take actions against them.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        A Brand new washing Machine was purchased from Girias on 2nd September 2007. Around 12th of this month the machine is not working. A complaint was registered and a technician came and worked on the machine. Again it was in the same condition. after repeated follow-up a new technician was sent for Repair, even after that the problem exist. Around six complaints has been register with repeated follow ups but no response from them. I want the machine to be replace and a compensation be provided for the negligence of service.

                                        I have AMC for about 4 years with IFB, and I have a complaint on my washing machine. My washing machine has a problem in draining the water. we have this major problem since last AMC and no one resolved it. The technicians came for service but didn't even touch the washing machine and said the problem is with the pump and the bearing as it also had some loud noise while washing, but the major problem is not draining the water even after we make it spin twice.
                                        I am really frustrated with your service as no one resolved my washing machine issue for about 8 months.
                                        Could you please help us to resolve the washing machine issue or help us to know what further action should I take regarding this unresolved complaint.

                                        Problem: IFB Washing Machine 6Kg Automatic, ERROR 04,

                                        On calling IFB service number is[protected]they hardly know anything about service), we got connected with a call back from one Raghvendra. He visited the next day and after doing initial trial and error, he said control board has gone.
                                        He brought a new board (2700 Rs) and I noticed the display of the machine has dimmed, on telling him the reply was “It was like that only).
                                        I told him to take the new control board and fix the old one and go.
                                        His reply was “You call the company people only”, so he was not the company people.
                                        I complained in the IFB website, but no reply to my complaint.

                                        Now, the error is still existing, but works fine with cold water wash.

                                        We are living with it, as we do not have any options.

                                        I am writing this complaint, to help future buyers of IFB washing machine in Bangalore.
                                        PLEASE DO NOT BUY, THEY DO NOT HAVE SERVICE.

                                        More than that they don’t have anybody to address the escalation either.
