[Resolved] Iim Prometric Test — Quit Test Option | |
Dear All, My test was terminated just only after 30 mins of the test which was supposed to go on for a duration or 135 mins. All I did was going to 'Review' option to see how many I haven't attended. There was 'End' option. I clicked on it thinking it was End of Review. But my test got terminated. Immediately I informed to the officials. BUT THEY SAID THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. AND THEY DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING AFTER THAT WHETHER I SHOULD LEAVE THE HALL OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. I HAD TO SIT FOR ANOTHER 115 MINS WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING. The officials had informed not to click on 'quit my test' tab which will be only on question page.BUT THEY HADN'T INFORMED ANYTHING ABOUT 'END' TAB IN REVIEW PAGE. If 'End' Tab was quitting test, then why did they change the name of the tab from 'quit my test' to 'End' Tab. Also if student does this tiny mistake, WHY THERE IS NOT ANY MANUAL OVERRIDE OPTION GIVEN TO THE OFFICIALS. WHY SHOULD THERE BE OPTION TO QUIT THE TEST, FIRST OF ALL, WHEN YOU ARE ALLOWED TO WALK OUT OF THE HALL BEFORE THE END OF COMPLETE DURATION OF THE TEST. I BLAME THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE DESIGNED THE PROMETRIC TEST FOR NOT TAKING EFFICIENT MEASURES TO REMOVE THE FLAWS IN THE TEST AND IIMS FOLLOWIMG THE TEST WITHOUT CHECKING THE FLAWS. I NEVER EXPECTED PREMIER INSITUTES OF INDIA TO COMMIT SUCH A DISASTER. SHOULD I BE BARRED FROM TAKING THE TEST FOR COMMITING SUCH A SMALL MISTAKE OF CLICKING ON THE 'END' TAB ? I DEMAND A RE-TEST FOR ME AND I DEMAND THAT THIS PROMETRIC TEST TO BE REMOVED AND GOOD OLD PAPER-PENCIL TEST TO BE INTRODUCED AGAIN. I ALSO DEMAND PROPER PUNISHMENT FOR ALL THE OFFICIALS PRESENT ON 29 NOV '09 PRESENT IN THE 'GLOBAL ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY' FOR NOT TAKING MEASURES ABOUT MY PROBLEM. Obviously, we are too late to address your concerns about this 2009 test. But we didn't want to leave your comment ignored! IIM Prometric Test — not getting any mail or message of rescheduled exam date
i was choosen an option of exam date 29-11-09 for cat online exam, but unfortuntely due to server problem i could not be appear in exam on that day.in later by rescheduling date was declared i.e 7-12 -09but i could not get any mail or mesaage.

you have a solid point in your querries and i also want to come back to the paper pencil pattern again ..for the central goverment...
if you r right in every point of view and wanted to fight for saving "your one year preparation " for CAT then you must go to COURT and claim for your "TIME MONEY YEAR " etc..
