India Today Book Club — Charged twice for one item purchase | |
Hi, I have submitted an order online in www.indiatodaybookclub.com. I have been notified during the payment process as my credit card hasn't been accepted and requested for another credit card. I have then presented another credit card and the payment was successful. I did receive the product that I have ordered but when I looked at my credit card statements I could see that both the credit cards have been debited for the same order. I have written emails and called then personally to look after this error and requested to credit back the excess amount that has been debited fromone of the credit cards. I have also presented the copies of my credit card statements. No action has been taken and I have paid twice for one order. The value of the order is Rs 3199.00. Was this information helpful? | |

I received a call from your office on the 15th of September 2010 telling me that I have been picked for some offers. I was told that a sum of Rs.15900/- should be paid by me after 45 days and if I am satisfied with the products that are sent to me. I was asked to provide me my credit card number, which I did. I regret to inform you that you office tells something and does something. Not only they debited my card the same day with Rs.15998/- but also another amount Rs.15798/-. I was shocked to see two debits in my account statement. I was telling them to put everything on mail, which they have not done so far and tell you some thing they spoke to me for about 20 minutes and how do you expect anyone to remember everything they said, that is the reason I asked her to put it on mail. I request you to kindly look into the matter and credit my account with the amounts debited on my credit card. India Today Book Club — India today book club sucks
Had ordered for Reebok set on 15th January and have not recieved till 26th April. Everytime we called to check the status, we were told that it would take 6 to 7 days. India today book club is completely irresponsible. The way the customer care speaks to you is ridiculous. Someone need to teach them client servicing..Not sure where to go to.
