[Resolved] India Today Book Club / Holiday Voucher — Resort-store.com does not allow me to book for India | |
I purchased a holiday Voucher from India today book club on 17th May. The details of this order are below: Bookcode: H1517 Orderno: OGA[protected] webid: 194258 It took their partner firm Premier Sales Promotions Pvt. Ltd 4 months to courier the Promo code to me. So basically the validity of 9 months of the package itself was reduced to 5 months. Now since last 1.5 months i am trying to book a holiday stay in Goa from 2nd February till 8th February 2010. But the site doesnot display any options for India itself. If I cant book a holiday 3 months in advance, then the whole purpose of this voucher was to cheat the buyers. I was told there are more than 20 sites in goa to stay. And knowing that december and January are peak seasons, i am trying to book for Februrary. Just to test I tried to enter a date in May 2010 for a holiday in India. No locations are displayed. When I call ITBC, the call never connects. Twice - I even waited on the phone for over 30 mins. The premier sales promotion pvt. ltd office dont seem to care about these difficulties. Their task it seems is to only generate the code. This is really frustrating. Now since last few days i am trying to book a holiday stay in Goa/Ooty from 23rd January till February 2010. But the site doesnot display any options for India itself for any date. If I cant book a holiday in advance, then the whole purpose of this voucher was to cheat the buyers. .
When I call ITBC, the call is never responded to. Twice - I even waited on the phone for over 30 mins.
The premier sales promotion pvt. ltd office dont seem to care about these difficulties. Their task it seems is to only generate the code.
This is really frustrating. Basically now i dont have any holiday stay and even my money seems to be gone.

It took their partner firm Premier Sales Promotions Pvt. Ltd 3 months to courier the Promo code to me. So basically the validity of 9 months of the package itself was reduced to 6 months.
Now since last 2- months I am trying to book a holiday stay anywhere in India or Singapore. But the site doesnot display any option at all. I cant book a holiday 4-months in advance, then the whole purpose of this voucher was to cheat the buyers. I feel that India today Book club are big cheaters.
When I call ITBC, the call never connects. Four times I even waited on the phone for more than 30 mins.

India Today Book Club — ITBC Holiday Voucher
Dear All,I never thought that I will be in this mess after taking this package which is i think my lifes biggest mistake that and waste of my hardearned money.I want some thing to be done about this matter ASAP and i have got pack of CD's that to is Scrached.
Please look into this matter and also let me know what can be done as i have called[protected] which keep on hold for 15-15 min.
