ITBC — Books ordered not received

Had ordered books online in the end of July.Subsequently received a mail confirming my order.It said my order is being processed and will receive the books in 6 wks.More than 8 weeks have elapsed.Please expedite

I am a Senior Citizen & I can not afford to fritter money against unslocilited parcels. Please ensure collection of consignment & refund of money, Rs. 735/=. Actions needed for immediate response.

Dear sir,

I have launch one complain regarding poor service after receiving full amoount through my SBI Credit Card no 51012869xxxx3808 on 30th Oct 2008 of Rs 2249.00.

This order was placed on telephonic talk with your representative on 28th oct 2008 for adidas shoe as well as after asking of my order no he told me that will convey by mail.

I had also order for three cd's for which the confor mation was send from your side of rs 574. on 22nd oct 2008 bearing order no: MITBC-WEB[protected].

STILL I AM WAITING FOR ADIDAS SHOE AS WELL AS CD'S.

PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENT OF CREDIT CARD STATEMENT SHOWING DEDUCTION OF 2249.00 0N 30TH DEC 08.

PLEASE TELL WHEN YOU PLACED MY ORDER.

I booked my order for 2 Swatch watches on 13th Feb'2009 under Booking reference number MITBC-WEB-020378. I paid through debit card for Rs 2150.00. Thereafter I have send many reminder e-mail and called up their helpdesk number[protected] and[protected]Toll Free**) many a times, but till date no action. They gave me another order number under which this order is now tracked. Its order number M-COMMERCE/0GA[protected]. My ITBC membership number is ITBC09878136.

I sincerely request you to please help me. I am sure there are hundred of others who are being cheated by this Company.

India Today Book Club — ITEMS NOT DELIVERED AGAINST PAYMENT

India Today Book Club is frauding people by taking money in advance and not providing items against their payment.I have ordered Reebok Shoes & Bennetton Watch after paying Rs.2198 in advance by credit card on 15th March 2009.I have spoken to the customer care many times about status of my order but every time they told me that we are going to dispatch your order on this monday.They are having this standard reply everytime i call them.Either they disconnect my call or repeat the same thing.I have written many mails regarding this but no answer is there.I told them to cancel my order but they r not doing this also.So i am not able to understand what i should do??
It is such a big reputated group but it is doing fraud on his name.There must be some punishment for this.If anybody knows the way please tell me

Dear I have also placed an order for 1498 on 15 March2009, for sunglasses & Watch The reply is same that they are dispatching it this week but all invain they do disconect the calls regularly i have asked for the refund but no reply

Have ordered a Reebook fitness kit on India Today book Club in Feb, 2008

approx 60 days are over there is nothing delievered from their side.

approx 20 calls have been made and complaints have been given, on calling them there are stupid reasons given.

there was some order no. sent thru sms in feb, again a new order no. is sent now.

my sincere advise to stay away from this company offers.

For an offer in March 09 i responded and got my order booked through internet and using my credit card.Subsequently i was told that the cc is not working and so i booked using friends cc.But i came to know that i have been charged on my both cc's and hence i asked for refund
I was told that on the account of arrival of my 2nd parcel i should refuse to take it and hence i will get my money back in my account.but the irony is i havent received my 2nd package till now (even after 6 mnths ) .The company accepted the delay and also recognized the fault and is promising me to send the money since last 6 months.All their tall cliams of customer satisfaction are rubbish.even credit card statements have been provided.
I have 37 emails correspondence with them, numerous phone calls and still nothing and now i will send them a consumer court notice. the details of order are :ITBC09920423, ITBC09914922

indiatodaybookclub — Order not received

I had ordered Reebok Gym Kit on 6th of July 09 and had odne payment of Rs 3199.

But still even after successfull payment I have not received my order.I had called almost more than 20 times to[protected] for the details.
But each time i receive same answer"Due to technical error your order is not updated will be dispatched in next 14 days"
Its around 3 months passed but 14 days of IndiaToday are still not completed.
I had even mail to Feedback,Response and ITBC4U with all the details yet no response.

ITBC — Order Not Received

I had placed an order for Samsung Marine Mobile through ITBC worth Rs. 6498/ and payment was done through debit card on 03.09.2009 and asked me to wait me for three weeks to deliver my order. After that I had received a SMS on 12.09.2009 saying that my order (no.OGA[protected]) for Rs.6498 have been dispatched(parcel no. ED[protected]. After three weeks, i called [protected] and asked about the same and i have been asked to enquire with the postal department. When I checked with the postal department they said they have not received any such parcel. Again I called to the ITBC but there was no response. By seeing this I mailed to ITBC and I have been asked to wait for 15 days this went on for some days as soon as I mail them they ask me to wait for 15days. Actually I had ordered the product to gift to my friend on Devali. As the devali season has passed and also the rate of the ordered mobile is dropped, I asked ITBC to cancel my order and refund the amount as they failed to deliver the order on said time. Now there is no reply from ITBC, I have not received the parcel or the money. I have spent nearly Rs.1000/- towards phone call, inquiring with postal departments etc.

Can any one please look into this issue so that ITBC can refund the money

India Today Book Club — ITEM NOT RECEIVED EVEN AFTER DAYS OF PAYMENT MADE ARE OVER

I have booked Kodak Camera from ITBC offers. Have made payments thru my HDFC BANK Credit Card worth Rs. 5298. I have not received the item even after 21 days have passed. No one is replying the Call centre No given on ITBC site i.s.[protected]. I am still receiving calls from varios Call centre Nos. regarding various offers. Can anyone confirm that Ihave been Cheated and This is a Big Scam/Fraud?

Dear Sir,

I have placed an order with ITBC on 13/10/09 for Art d'Inox dinner set worth Rs.6698 which I have paid through credit card. My booking Id is [protected]. As they have told me on phone that they will be despatching the item within 3-4 weeks. It is more than one month and I did not receive the consignment till today. The customer care number which thay have given is not at all working and I have spent lot of money on phone calls to this number. Kindly give me your suggestions on proceeding further. Kindly, help me in this regard. They have kept on calling me so, I have accepted their offer and arranged to pay the amount with my friend's credit card. Rs.6698 is a big amount for me.

India Today Book Club — Item not received after full payment

I got a call on 5th September from India Today Book Club with some offers to buy a few books, and I was promised a lot of gifts with it, including a holiday voucher and air tickets to go for the same. I, in good faith, paid the money from my credit card. I paid Rs. 3198.00 on 5th September 2009.
Accordingly an order number was generated, OGA[protected].
I have written a series of mails since then in the last more than two months, to get a reply like "We request you that kindly wait for some days. You will receive the same soon".
I have not received anything from them, I asked for my money refund, not heard from them on that too.
Please do something about it.

This matter is not settled yet. No mail has been sent to my email id.

Same thing with me. I've ordered on[protected] and till date received nothing. Have you complained to the Consumer Court?

I have ordered Books and Novels through credit card on INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB through a promotional offer. I paid the amount with order no.[protected] on 25/11/2010. its already 2 month but there are no sign of the consignment. biggest frauds, do not pay in advance. always prefer to pay through VPP. and do not expect any free gift.
