I am receiving repeated calls and emails supposedly from india today group for receiving about 850000/- prize money won in some contest related to purchase made from bag it today 6-7 years back
first they asked for acc detail, pancard and cancelled cheque copy and now they want 4%( apprx 34000/- rs) for processing and id generation charges
the calling no is [protected]
is it genuine or fraud call
if it is fraud then you should complain in cyber cell and issue public notification
because name of brand like india today is at stake

Somebody is making calls from [protected] and sending mails from -

India today saying he is calling from india today settlements dept. And bla bla bla and they want to settle my amount of rs.2, 50, 000/- under gst (Some non-sence as gst has no connection to these issues) and asked for my pan card copy, cancelled cheque and a dummy form titled as rtgs form etc., then finally saying they have forwarded to audit dept, it has approved the amount so, i need to pay rs.20, 000/- for generating customer id etc., they have sent some letters on their letter head which contains only logo, there is no office address, no contact numbers etc.,.
Pl we have to fight against all such frauds.. Pl raise a complaint and see that the people who are trying to cheat us are punished.

Hi i have purchased one item from bagittoday, so i am not satisfied with the item and returned, they have given only credit points instead of money and they told that i can use store credit points for purchase in bagitoday and it was around rs.20000. After couple of days i checked recently and got information of bag it today shuts down. How can i get my credit points or money from bagittoday

Our new neighbour has an unauthorized contruction in our locality. It is disturbing the environment and doesn't seems good. There was an order from Nagar Nigam but our neighbour had feed bribed to the Nagar Nigam and now nothing is done. I request you to take an immediate action regarding this now !

I had subscribed for business today in september 2016 with subscription no bt 1705681. At the time of subscription i was offered a free gift of mobile power bank. When i contacted their customer care service in dec 2106 i was told that the gift was sent through courier but was sent back due to incorrect address and i was asked to send the detailed address by email. I had then sent my full address by mail more than once but no response. On feb 2017 i sent a detailed complaint and also detailed address by speed post to them 'still there was no response. Susequently i contacted their customer care executives twice but with no result. I am still to receive the gift

I received a call from mobile no.[protected] and [protected] on 10.03.2014 and the man on the side said he was sanjay agarwal, senior manager bag it today and told me that i have won a prize of 3, 50, 000 in a secret draw held by the company.
He told your file no. Sm3294601.
In order the prize money was released to me i shall have to purchase insurance plicies of 10 % amount for which he asked me to send following documents.
1. Two passport size photo, 2. Votor id card, 3. Pan card, 4. Cancle cheque, and 5. Crossed cheque no.204509 of axis bank ltd. Of rs.35, 000/- payable at hdfc insurance company. Sent all above documents on the address:- rajesh kumar, hdfc life insurance co., 501, 5th floor, krishna apra plaza, sec-18, noida, up-201301. Via dcdt courier and cargo ltd. Receipt no. Bo8076549.
On 12.03.2014 mr. Saurav mittal ([protected]) from hdfc insurance company called me and he told you will get rs.3, 50, 000/- within one week after reaching document.
Your rs.35, 000/- also you will get back after releasing prize amount.
On 01.04.2014 i got call from hdfc insurance company they sent policy via first flight courier, tracking id. B9040d558141.
On 06.05.2014 mr. Rahul mehta ([protected]) from hdfc insurance company called me and he told you will get your prize amount within 2 days. On 07.05.2015 mr. Sharma ([protected]) bank officer from hdfc bank called me and asked about file no. Sm3294601.
He told your prize amount is increased from rs.3, 50, 000/- to rs.8, 50, 000/-. And file is sent back to mr. Sanjay agarwal manager bag it today.
Sanjay agarwal told me to pay 10% of remaining increased prize amount of rs.50, 000/- sanjay agarwal asked me to send following documents.
1. Two passport size photo, 2. Votor id card, 3. Pan card, 4. Cancle cheque, and 5. Crossed cheque no.204510 of axis bank ltd. Of rs.50, 000/- payable at reliance life insurance company ltd.. Sent all above documents on the address:- sanjay agarwal c/o. Gulshan gautam (Tpd), reliance life insurance company ltd, 1 st floor krishna complex, above msruti show room, opp. City power house, jaipur road ajmer-305001.
Sent on 07.05.2015 via dcdt courier and cargo ltd. Receipt no. Bo9443145. Still today i have not received the prize amount rs.8, 50, 000/-. Please release my bag it today prize amount rs.8, 50, 000/- from bag it today and hdfc insutance company ltd.

I received a call from telephone no.[protected] on 10.04.2014 and the man on the side said he was rajesh tipco, senior manager bag it today and told me that i have won a prize of 6, 50, 000 in a secret draw held by the company.
He told your file no. Am00249.
In order the prize money was released to me i shall have to purchase insurance policies of 10 % amount for which he asked me to send.
On 12.03.2014 mr. Saurav mittal ([protected]) from hdfc insurance company called me and he told you will get rs.6, 50, 000/- within one week after reaching document.
Your rs.35, 000/- also you will get back after releasing prize amount.
He sent agent to me and i have handed over the following documents to him.
1. Two passport size photo, 2. Votor id card, 3. Pan card, 4. Cancle cheque, and 5. Crossed cheque no.15443 of axis bank ltd. Of rs.35, 000/- payable at future general insurance co.
On 06.05.2014 mr. Rahul mehta ([protected] and [protected]) from hdfc insurance company called me and he told you will get your prize amount within 2 days.
Abhishek sharma ([protected]) from bag it today called me and neeraj gupta ([protected]) from releasing department is the person who will transfer money in your account.
Mr. Neeraj gupta contacted me and told me to become member wealth club ([protected]).
Then he will transfer amount in my account. So i sent following document to wealth club by courier.
1. Two passport size photo, 2. Votor id card, 3. Pan card, 4. Cancle cheque, and 5. Crossed cheque no.15445 of axis bank ltd. Of rs.35, 500/- payable at wealth club.
Then wealth club has sent me one form that i have filled and sent back. I am still waiting for prize amount rs.6, 50, 000/- and my rs.70500/- which i send to them. I request you to look in to matter and ask them to transfer my amount in my account.

I hereby make the following complaint against one sanjay agarwal alleged to be senior manager at bag it today an online commercial company.
On 09/03/2015 i received a call from telephone no.[protected]and the man on the side said he was sanjay agarwal, senior manager bag it today and told me that i have won a prize of 8, 50, 000 ina secret draw held by the company.in orde the prize money was released to me i shall have to purchase insurance policies for which he send agents to me and accordingly i purchased the insurance policies. As the alleged prize money was not released, i contacted sanjay agarwal whotold me to deposit rs. 20, 000/- in bank account of one sumit kumar sb bank account.
No.[protected] maintained with the bank of baroda as some tds certificate is to be obtained. I accordingly deposited the said amount in the said bank rs.10, 000/- on 16.3.2015. He also called me from telephone no.[protected] alleged that it was the phone of hdfc bank. I now understand that alleged sanjay agarwal has cheated me of rs. 10, 000. It is requested that necessary enquiries may kindly be made based on the above telephone numbers and also the bank account mentioned above. Kindly help me to get my amount back from him.

Today i have got a call from [protected] on 15/09/2016 telling that i will get a reward points on my credit card I was not knowing what to do.they were forcing me to tell all the details and OTP also.they have even asked my SBI card and now i have lost the money a sum of Rs 7786.00 from SBI credit card.please refund my money.please this is my request.please refund my money back as soon as possible

I have followed every rules and guidelines for india today lucky draw and want to know the result. As per their demand we have shared the card details with them. I have the copy of all their letter and mails. Their head office situated in canaught place, delhi. But still i am waiting for the result from last february 2016.

My humble request to the court, please take a strict action against them. So that, from next time, they wouldn't cheat with others.

I got a phone call from bag it today executive mrs. avantika goel, ph. no.[protected] infoming that i am a winner of rs.4.5 lacs prize money. to receive the amount i have to submit the following documents :
1. colour photo
2. pan card zerox
3 address proof
4. cancelled cheque & one cheque in favour of hdfc life insurance ltd for rs.35000/-.

I got a phone call from mr. rahul sharma phone no. [protected] stating that i can send the scan copy on mail to him & go for online payment of rs. 35000/-. he sent me his email id [protected]@gmail.com.

What all it is never understood?

I have received calls from Fraudsters claiming to be representatives of Bag it today and advising me to deposit 10% of 5 lakhs in cash by visiting any nearest HDFC Bank and deposit the money to another HDFC Bank account located in Goa.
Reason for collecting this money is because I have won Rs. 5lakhs from Bag it today and in order to get the cheque from them I have to pay them an advance tax deduction which is the 10% amount of the total winning amount.

If you call and inform bag it today about it they'll only take down the nos. and say we are looking after this.
But they don't cause I have been receiving these calls from past one year now and till date bag it today has no clue about the Fraudsters.

1.) Ms. Sakshi Sharma called me from [protected] at 10:38 am on 04/06/16

2.) Ms. Ipsita called me from [protected]
at 12:24 pm on 15/06/16

3.) Ms. Dipika Jain called me from [protected] today I.e. 17/06/16 at 02:55 pm

Around four years back bag it today had informed me that if i make a purchase of some items my name will be added in lucky draw and winner will get rs 450000/-.
After few days i got a call that i have won in my state and submit few documents along with a payment of rs 26, 000/- which i did.
But later i came to knew that they had opened an insurance in hdfc bank without my knowledge. After few days they had stopped attending my calls and was no response. The numbers were

After three years i got a call again saying that my prize is still pending and due to some problem it will be processed now. For which due to income tax problem i gotta pay rs 7000/- then it will be released. The way they spoke it made me believe and i paid, after few days no response and number is switched off.

He said that we are sorry as few of fraud people are taking their company name and collecting money and all the money will be refunded. They said my dd is ready and charges of rs 1000/- has to be paid then it will be couriered, which after i made payment now no response.
Please advice what to do

I got a call from India today / bagittoday group and informed me about offers and accordingly, i have paid Rs.5, 999/- towards purchase of Sony Cybershot Camera. I was informed on 17th March 2011 by Bagit India Today that my name had featured in a lucky draw and requested me to deposit INR 25, 000 into the State Bank of India A/c No.[protected]of JAL & PARYAVARAN SANRAKSHAN SAMITHI. I had deposited cash into the aforementioned bank account on 21st March 2011. I was promised that I would be forwarded a certificate under IT Section 80G for donationswhich can be claimed as deduction in my Income Tax Returns for the Financial Year 2010-11. Besides this, they also promised me that I would get a Sony Viao Laptop / Sony 50" TV, as mentioned in their e mail. I tried reaching them on[protected] but in vain. I approached SBI branch in Hyderabad and found out that the bank a/c belongs to Jal & Paryavaran Sanrakshan Samithi and someone who has the access of bank a/c is withdrawing the amounts soon after the credits in the account and leaving a minimum balance of INR 5, 000, meaning that there were many people got duped by the tricksters. I had complained about this to the Managing Director of Jal & Paryavaran Sanrakshan Samithi, Harora Road, Simbho Aligarh, Ghaziabad 201009, thru registered post. I received a threatening call from the Secretary (0091 [protected])of MD asking me as to why did I write a letter complaining about the irregularities in their organization. After this they have stopped taking my calls.
