[Resolved] Indian Institute Of Technology Roorkee — Poor Service of AC | |
Dear Sir, I had purchased 1.5 Ton Split AC in April-May 2005. It worked during that season only. In 2006, when I tried to used it, it did not work. On checking it was told that there is no gas. I thought that due to some disturbance the gas might have keaked. They filledthe gas and charge Rs.1300/-. Again after few months, the AC stopped working. Again there was no gas and the compressor was found to be faulty. Compressor was replaced and the gas was filled. In 2007, same problem occured and it was infomed that the fitting is not proper. It was done again and the gas was filled and they charged Rs.1300.00 plus fitting charges. In 2008, when again the same problem occurred, I did not allow for refilling and asked them to throughly check the AC. In fact, I contacted Dehraun centre and a service engineer came and cheked it. The AC was taken by the service people and in Oct 2008, it was 'repaired' and fitting was done. Since the AC was repaired in Oct, it was not used in that season. Again, in April 2009 when I tried to use it, there was no gas. Again the C was taken away for repair and found that one of the internal part is creating problem and it is to be replaced. All throgh the service provided by the local service centre is extremely frustraiting. The never come in time and the whole season is used to repair the 'AC'. I requested to get it replaced but the request was not accepted. May I request the company to kinly look into the matter and take appropriate action againat the service centre. Further, I had purchased another similar AC in 2006(even the first one created problem hoping that the leakage in it might be due to my fault). It was service 10 days before by thesame service centre and after that it has also stopped working. I am really tired of requesting for service again and again. I do understand that any piece may be faulty but the compnay is supposed to provide hassle free service to customers. I have no option but to ask my friends NOT to purchase samsung AC.
