I purchased Intex mobile model no. in 4470N vide invoice no. 0/[protected]/0009854 dtd. 25/10/11 from Metro Cash & Carry India Pvt. Ltd. @ Rs.2249/-. The company has its authorized centre at Technique Services, 84A, Central Avenue, Kolkata-700012. On 01/01/12, suddenly in the morning the LCD screen of my mobile went white. I took it to the service centre and met one Suddha Deb who took the mobile and gave it back to me after ten minutes saying LCD screen was broken and that I would have to replace the screen at a cost of Rs.750/- out of warranty! This was not acceptable to me as the screen was white when I gave the set and was returned with a black mark in the middle. The company should replace the LCD as the mobile is within warranty period. I am afraid the company Intex Technologies (India) Ltd. having its corporate office at D-18/2, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II, New Delhi-110020 will not act in my favour unless you intervene and force them to act in interest of the consumer. I have sent an email to the company through its contact form but, I'm not sure about its value as legal evidence. The serial number is MSN 11/[protected] (M_IMEI : [protected] ; S_IMEI : [protected]) and sap code is :[protected]. Their is an EAN code :[protected] on the box too. A 61, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase - II, Delhi, Delhi, India - 110020
The company has its authorized centre at Technique Services, 84A, Central Avenue, Kolkata-700012.
On 01/01/12, suddenly in the morning the LCD screen of my mobile went white. I took it to the service centre and met one Suddha Deb who took the mobile and gave it back to me after ten minutes saying LCD screen was broken and that I would have to replace the screen at a cost of Rs.750/- out of warranty!
