JustDial.com — Have listings by crooks and they don't take action against them even if you complain

When my refrigerator broke down, I took a number from justdial.com. I called this person (George from Monisha electrical and electronics) who tokk Rs 3000 advance from me as the compressor had to be replaced. Next day he came with a chinese compressor saying it was samsung. When I asked for a receipt he says he doesn't have one. When I said I don't want it as I only want a Samsung compressor, he took the compressor away and said he'll return the compressor and then pay my money back. It has been three months and he hasn't returned my money even after calling him more than 100 times. Now he has stopped picking up my phone. When I told justdial about him, they initially didn't do anything. Later after calling them multiple times they somehow removed his listing from the site. Now the listing is back with a "Just Dial Guarantee" seal. Imagine a crook being listed by justdial because he paid them the money. In fact in the earlier listing many people had commented that George cheated them of the money. In the new listing there is no bad comment. I got a call from justdial and they started looking into it. Overall there was some action. They made the crook George call me to tell me he'll pay. But he wanted me to come and collect the money and I was busy. Then I got a call from someone called Sreekanth from justdial[protected]. Apparently he was sitting with George and was basically pressuring me to believe they have taken action. He said as George was interested in paying he will unblock the account. I persisted and shouted. Sreekanth then spoke with George who was sitting next and assured me that I will get my money in 4 days. It has been more than 10 days but I haven't received the money. I don't know how can justdial have such stupid people on rolls who don't care about the users. Sreekanth tried his best to pressurize me for around 20 mins and had I been not so mad I would have agreed.

Now I think I'll have to make the complaints at other sites too as nothing is happening. Justdial - please get better people than Sreekanth.

This happened to me also.
Through just dial, i booked a Packers and Movers - PROFESSIONAL PACKERS AND MOVERS, KAVUNDAM PALAYAM, COIMBATORE to shift my house hold from the existing place to Coimbatore suburban.The packers and movers, have not lifted whole of my house hold on[protected], and left the ward robe worth Rs.30, 000/- on the spot itself and saying that they have no facility or persons as of now and lift the same next day.Every day we make several calls to the Professional packers and movers, they never attended, hence, we called from another number and they promised us to go the the old place the ward robe where it is and they will come and lift by night 10.00PM (22.00), Having a kid of 5 years left with the night, me and my wife traveled 1 hour and went to the place said by the Packers and movers, waited till 1.00o clock in the mid nigh.None came from the Packers and never took the call. The owner Palaniappan, gave few fake numbers, who never replied.We returned back home.
Fortunately we have paid only 5500/- instead of 6, 500/- asked by these cheating Packers and movers, and saved the Rs.1, 000/-.
when i lodged a complaint with just dial, they didnt care about it and had not replied me till now.The call was attended by Malini, Saiyade and it went on un answered.Then the Packerwala called me and said th Just dial people have called him and he vehamently said, i have paid money to just dial, they cannot do anything but give him a service.
I request just dial not to encourage these cheaters and identify them who cheats the customer, using Just dials reference.
It will spoil the fame of Just dial.
