Not bothered about leads. After several complaints via email no response. Have taken Rs.11000/ on Feb 11th 2008 and are not bothered about leads. Inspite of several emails to top officials they are just blind as they have received money in full from me. I have already started legal action against them through my letters.

just received an email asking me to talk to their some Pooja patel I denied saying reply me through mail only as I would not talk through phone. Waste of money and energy. Let's put everything in black and white I told them. This happened after I posted a comment on consumers complaints on net. Some actions are being taken by them Otherwise I was not at all in their list of courtesy, only money is what they needed.

You would further notice that as per clause 6(d) of agreement they cannot forward lead to more than 4 customers unless specifically requested by the client, but in practice they are forwarding the lead to more than 4 and are actually sending leads to 7 compaines, which is material breach of contract and you should avail legal remedies, the company ought to refund all your money and pay you damages for their unfair trade practices.

For all these complaints just dial has not bothered to answer:

yes, we are a fraud company that is hell bent to rob you of your money, please dont call us we only pick calls when we earn money from your call. you paid money bcoz you are fool. if by paying us money you could make money than you need a doctor, call 6999 9999 for doctors. we would forward this to 7 doctors at least and earn handsome fee. it does not matter whether they are gyneocologist, dermatologist or dentist or PhD we would send your request to doctor.

you are fool when you all are aware that we dont adhere to promise why you pay us, and keep on doing that. even we are receiving equity investments from some fools banks. Atleast one would make money and that would be us. we got lakhs of money for yellow pages that would never be published. we retain and sell later your phone numbers for bulk messaging, you provide us your number and we can make money from your mobile details by fooling some other fools beleiving that we will serve them'

I faced similar problem they promised leads at lower rates and later they charged triple rates than agreed i kept my account freezed, later they give me that rate but reduced my position from 3rd postion to 10 position, leads received are mostly fake leads wherein people are not interested in the product even if you call immediatley they shall tell you the order is already done,

they took more than 1 month to start my lead account service and that to at a higher rate than promised, they take 1 month to issue a proper bill for the money taken by them for the lead service in my case Rs. 11, 000/- i had to remind them 4 to 5 times in this 1 month to get the bill from them for which they convinently state to as being our procedure for issue of bills, m to hell with their procedures, after 1 month also they could not issue a proper bill it was full of mistakes and blunders

We are trying to create a platform those who are cheated by Justdail.com
as i got cheated by them

Few months ago a girl called me on my cell {her name was Jigesha Dabhi} and asked that would i b interested in registering my company in Just Dial for free .Now as a business man i thought why not, then one day suddenly that female Jigesha Dabhi' called at 7:30 in evening & asked that can we meet today at 8 i was free so i agreed then she meet me and we had a official talk latter as the day passed away she started to get friendly also started to sms me & call me day by day she was getting personal & close . It was a limit when one day she came to my office and asked me to drop her on the way so i said ok, , , but what happened next was as we reached to a road with less traffic she asked me to pull over and stop the car so i did !!! Then she started to behave strangely, got close & Physical to me then what happened next is ... You can understand i don’t need to explain . But when she was done what she told me was 75 to 80 % girls are like this in justdial they are forced to get sale (Business) any how.

So guys plz be care full.

As per discussion with u about not receiving leads. I didn’t understand what you want to explain me in previous mail(you have signed a Supreme Package and will get leads on rotational basis and this is a Tenure contract).
I only know that from 4 days I received only 2 leads and that are only inquiry calls. for checking this I call to just dial 5 times with different numbers and names for require computers service etc. after all calls I didn’t receive a single inquiry from you for that.
I think all you peoples running a fake, not fare and money extortion business from your client. I suffer from 5 days and calling and mail to just dial again and again but nothing happen. please mr shakir stop my services now and my ecs also now.i become so frustrated and disappoint with just dial
(Another issues is every morning I received a call from just dial a person mohit demanding me previous balance advance money 8000/-and say your listing not activated due to this and you will not get leads. but when I talk with you u explain some different stories that nothing happen. Don’t worry, no need to give money advance. what all this?????????/)

Just Dial — Fraudulent Practices

I have gone through many complaints for Just Dial in this forum. Most of them are related to being charged exorbitantly, getting wrong leads etc etc. Though my complaint is not in that nature, but it is still serious and fraudulent.

A month ago, I dialed Just Dial ( I would dial their no for pizza delivery, parafin wax, other odd things often) for a BSNL broadband connection as I had just shifted and did not know how to go about applying for such a connection in the new place. After the initial QAs, I hung up and, pop, i got a few 5 or 6 odd listings in my mobile through SMS for companies and agencies who are providing the services.

I did not hurry and put them aside so I could call them when I was free. Within less then 5 minutes of me hanging up the phone I got a call from one "Pankaj" representing Varun Enterprise in Laxmi Nagar (some 20 kms away from my place) offering me the BSNL connection. I gave him my address and phone no and scheduled a meeting with him a few day(s) later. I got a few odd calls too - kept getting them for a few days- as I had already given an appointment to a company I ignored the rest.

On Sunday, this Pankaj turned up at my place and after he filled up the form, and took all the id proofs, asked me Rs. 1700- (Rs. 500 for the connection + Rs 1200 as refundable security) , though it was only 500 rs I was supposed to pay as i came to know later and told me the connection will be set up in not more than 3 days.

Since then It has been more than a month, all calls to his no has not been returned. His mobile is always switched off.

Then I complained to JUST DIAL on their CC. Some bloke called me and assured action will be taken against the guilty party and they bothered to call me in the matter. In the mean time I have already complained to the Director of MTNL and awaiting his reply in the matter.

I am to get hold of this Pankaj fellow, he is still not reachable.

I am shocked Just Dial would push fraudulent companies' no and would not even stop at cheating their own customers.

I would not bother to call them ever again.

I had registered a monthly plan with Just Dial wherein they said that my details would be given to callers asking for the service.I wantd to cancel the same but they are ignoring i I have also sent a mail to their CEO but he is also not bothered.

In May 2008 I had registered with a marketing agency named ‘JUST DIAL’ for providing me with students in the specified streams and from specified areas. But till now they have not provided any satisfactory leads and they are not even responding to my telephonic queries or mails.
I had also demanded a refund of the money that I had paid but in that case also they remain silent
I am frustrated with the services of the company and as a last resort I am writing this letter to you to solve the problem so that I get a refund of the money or get fruitful services from their end.
Please advice me the next step that I should take in this case.

My sympathies are with you. Just Dial is a Company owned by one Maini, a by birth and served by sons and daughters of as they together have formed a gang for banging the public. These thieves have robbed my Rs.10, 000/- plus service charges on the promise of giving 220 leads for the furtherance of my business. Not a single lead has been given and the money has been refused to be returned. Please spread these cheating incidences to as many people as possible.

Can any one suggest a befitting action? Can we lodge complaint with the Police or take legal action?

Shoked by the poor after sale service .I got my company listed in DEC 2008 & my services to be activated on 1st jan 2009.But after repeated call to just Dial, it was activated on 4th of january 2009 & that too under wrong category.Sales person who gave me big claims, not even bothered to picked up the phone.

I had signed a contract and was told that if I do not the good leads I would be refunded the money but they very unprofessional and nor ready to pick my calls nor there is positve responce fromthem if the bychance pick the call. I am in touch with the person who works at a very hidher post but he is to hopless and unproffesional, so what the say about there sales person and telle caller.

Its my humble request not to a single rupee to this company and not to work with him and please beware of them.

i am absolutely dissatisfied with Just dial services i have taken a one year contract for providing me leads every day, under category investments and Mutual fund. i got leads stating that he wishes to have address of pastry shop, most of the leads are not related to my occupation i wish to have my money back, that very same salesmen mr. shailendra mob: [protected] does not even bother to pick up my phone call his boss Mr. Anmol mob:[protected] does the same. its seems nobody bothers to take care o[censored]s. Just dial is a engine to rob public money rather any search engine. They cleverly trap a prey and make an yearly agreement and than never cares.
Truly there should be some law to take these people to task.

I happend to use just dial a lot as this service number was provided to me by a friend. i am single lady who is from other small city and makeap mes my living here & support my family in home town.

I had the problem of pest control and called just dial services. They gave me some numbers. After some time i got 4 diffrent calls from the vendors. they all were about each other and trying to snatch the business.one of them told me that his service man is near my apartment and he can do it at the earliest. when i told where is your serviceman give me his number.. he then changed the discussion.I have got my work done ; but i still get many crap message and dirty picture messages on my mobile.i get private number calls during night. they talk very bad words and lot of shameless talks .I never had this problem before. i have been using the same number since 6 years..I am scared and sure that many other people are getting cheated or badly abused by leaving their numbers..i would request just dial not to be money minded and understand the stress we go through their service.

I have taken a service of just dial 1year back ( Aug 2008) according to which the company committed to give me leads every day one lead . They charged me 5000 for 100 lead for contact lenses in kandivali (E & W ) as well free 30sec video online. But till date I have rec. only 4-5 lead only & now they say that they have given me 30leads.well as they were not able to provide me service for kandivali that why I had upgrade my area from borivali to bandra. But even that did’t workout

In this one yr I have call just dail helpline for more then 1000 times to Mr. Rajesh b & Ajay Peshawar for my problem but when ever I used to call then always I used to get same ans then he is busy right in meet will get back to u in some time.

i am absolutely dissatisfied with Just dial services .Top of that today i.e12/08/2009 after one year Preeyal Kachalia from just dail she is calling & saying that “sir we can understand your prob. & to slove ihave called u, saying that u need to upgrade to service with us & pay Rs11, 500/- then then see u will start giving leads” gr8!!! After making me full for 1yr, top of that she is demandingmore money . inshort she had call me for more money rather then solving my problem .

So I think know they should refund my money

I Have received a very unprofessional approach from technicians sent from Just dial. Sansui TV was repaired by their reps. and it again became unserviceable within one week. After repeated calls to their reps. no response is still found.

just dial is a very worst service, i am not satisfied, please do not pay, the executive's gave wrong commitments, fraud calls coming no one using justdial, all are wasting my time asking quotation only no response, i called customer care also, give me my amount, but they are not give proper response.

This just dial company is the only company on this earth run and managed by thick skinned who will beg customers until they collect money .Once if they collect money they won't even bother to contact customers even if the customers calls repeatedly to redress their grievances. We can't find this type of trade mark on this earth. I caution all citizens of india to be careful with this . I request each one of you to lodge a complaint in your juristiction police station and write to reserve bank of india and complain to central bureau of investigation and registrar of companies to seal this company sothat in future honest people's hard earned money is not wasted

I am new to this sevice and i have just added my company on their site after this they called to verify and we have told everything but at the end of the talking they asked 11000 rs for keeping on top of their lists.however i told to meet personally and the two persons have came to my company.
I asked how they send customers and where does they come up.the person has told to me that they were getting daily 80 customers for the product we manufacture.so i asked can you send a sample so we can see and start the business but this guy has told they dont have any sample and they only send customers once they get the money.
i left this aside and kept quiet sfter one week again they called up and said they can send customers if i pay 1000 rupees per month.and i agreed for this contract and 2 days have been over.They sended a mail on the first day that they need videos but i have made reply to them that we dont have videos so if they can make then it is good.and still i didnt got reply within one day
after searching in google i came to this thread and have been reading other posts so i may also add my story here.
now i am just trying if this can help to my business and this for only one month or else i woud cance this subscription.
guys can you tell what can i do at this situation now 3 days have been over so no updates anything from them.

To all everyone out here, who are looking to place ads in justdial.com. Remember is a complete fraud and cheating... Not so many people will be wrong. I'm among them.
I explain about the mother justdial.com people.
before 10 years it was launched, with 10x10 room, one table and a phone. At that time it was new concept.
The advertisers like us, use to get good queries. But now the ratio has been changed, because of the increased no. of advertisers, same query use to be distributed to all advertisers for same category. Because of this no one is getting anything. Justdial.com people fraud in the name of leads, they just forward old contacts to u, and when u contact them, its either wrong no. or different person. So its double waste of our money.
Justdial.com people makes themselves in safe hand, because of the bunch of agreements they gets u sign. One of the mother justdial.com person came to our office, and took reg. fees saying we will be getting good response.. but nothing.
You all do one thing, what i did, i called the justdial person to our office saying we want to place ads, and when he came we thrased him like dog.
Putting the ceo in jail and shutting the co.is not a big task, until and unless we all unite, we can also claim compensation of our invested money.

Deducting ECS from Bank account even after termination of service

Dear Concerned party,

I am Arte Ramgopal, co-owner at metamorph Training, a Mumbai based company. We had signed a 3-month contract with JUST DIAL for advertisement purpose in May 2008.

But well before these 3-moths completion, they started deducting the ECS amount from our bank account for the fourth month without any prior notice. Even after complaining for the same in JUST DIAL, sending emails as well as getting a reply from the manager Purnima Nair as well as executives Tasneem and Malti that everything would be sorted out, they deducted are still deducting ECS for close to 2 years now.

They continued to deduct amounts, till we got fed up asking them to take action.

They owe us Rs. 3157 in charges they have debited even after we asked them to stop. Now their executives are calling us asking us to make MORE payments before they can stop further debits!!!!

No one addressing our issue in the company(just dial).

i am a fan of just dial though i am a student i strongly recomend just dial. after all its a caller driven company and probability based too, say for example one lead is send to five to seven people we say no one gets any thing .. but could you justify that a why a jweller wants its shop in jwellers lane ?? or why garment retailer look shop in garment market ?? no one complains if one customer sees whole market for same product ?? eventully compititon is needed and is part of free market system no one can deniy .. if we are unable to convert it into prospects we start abusing someone may be its just dial or any other company please leave this pessimestic approch there are lot of people whom are earning through it .. if dont like say no .. why these unnescessary grivences ???

Just Dial — Takes money and doesn't deliver services

JustDial is the most fraudulent of the big name companies in India.

It is always eager to take your money but once the payments have been made, it doesn't deliver on the promises made.

Can't believe how can a VC of Sequoia 's stature associate itself with a fraudulent company as JustDial. It is a decent search engine, but the business listing (advertising and placement) part is complete fraud, as it milks the advertisers, makes fake categories and doesn't place the ads as promised. If it did it once, it can be blamed on an over zealous salesperson, but if it happens more than once and there is a pattern to the behaviour, then you know that the fraud is being committed all the way to the management level.

Just Dial is Just Fraud. I agree with all the victims that Just Dial is extremely eager and persistent to get you signed up for advertising. But once you have signed up, they completely ignore all the promises made at the time of signing up and do not respond to any complaints at all.

I disagree with the above conversation, i have company which deals with water purifiers iam getting good leads from them .This is fact that they provide one customer leads to diffrent vendors, but thats not an issue, justdial aim is to provide different options to their callers ...so that he can find a better deal from the least price vendors.so please dont blame them...

To all people who are looking out at Just Dial as a advertising route!

We had signed a contract with Just Dial (JD) by paying per lead (lead based contract) in 2008. The following are the lead contract that we had signed with Just Dial and the leads that we have received and the leads that are pending.

This data has been provided by Justdial team from Ahmedabad itself and we are yet to verify whether its true or not. However, Its been more than 8-10 months since the contract has expired and the leads are still pending. I am yet to receive any lead since February inspite of leads being pending.

Why did JUSTDIAL sign a contract with me promising me x nos of inquiries, when you are unable to meet those demands? Infact Mr. Sultan, who was your branch head, Baroda then, was boasting that I should go in for a larger package since this package will be over within a month!! WOW – for me its been 18 months, and looks like its not yet 1 month by Mr. Sultan’s standards!! Second, if the lead contract is still not over, why is JD not sending me any new leads since February?? Thirdly, JD has called only when it came to renewal of the contract – why didn’t you contact me when you were unable to meet the inquiries allotted to me?? Lastly, JustDial expects me to go in for a renewal, after the kind of quality, quantity and service that I have been offered??? THIS IS SERIOUSLY UNBELIEVABLE!!

I am seriously not pleased with JUSTDIAL, as IMHO, it is just promising people like us the moon, and then completely failing to deliver on their promise!! Which shows the integrity of the company. IF someone asks me, whether they should go in for JD – I would scream – NOOOOO!!

I just had a talk with the JD representative today, and he said, that since the software is automated and the 1 yr is over, the contract is OVER. Now they have asked me to pay another Rs. 12, 000 instead of Rs. 18000, so that I can recover the already pending amount. I told him, why cant JD simply credit the due amount into my account (with permission from their Headquarters) and then let the amount I have paid per lead, get over and then approach me for renewal. But the only answer that i got was, we are already giving you a credit in our new scheme! Wow, I have already lost a couple of thousand, and now to recover that couple of thousand, they want me to put in another couple of thousand!!

If people make fool of you once, its ok; Dont allow Just Dial company to make fools out of your TWICE!! BEWARE!!

We had given the payments on the same day.In march 2010 our service for platinum contract was stopped and given to somebody else. Which the customer executive & manager have accepted. The Most Fraud Company where there is no proper customer support & team of marketing who are very cheap in their language as it has to be as people who are paid[protected] what can be expected????.
I had made a registration On 6th Of Sspt & when till the date there is no updation of my A/c nor they are bothered to revert.

Sales guy named salem took the check from me at the time of talking the check he had given me lots of commitments but the services and leads are pathetic.

When I asked for with drawing the services they have denied for refund.

Just Dial — fraud and misleading sales

I have just been cheated by the just dial staff of rupees 55,000. they had commited 10-15 leads per day across 100 categories listed for our business.

they took 2 months to start the service, and we are getting one lead per day. before that we had a service for 12000 per year in which we used to get 4-5 leads per day.

repeated complaints have not yielded any result. i wish i had the time to sue them. but to all people reading this do not ever pay them any money upfront and never get convinced by their sweet sales talk.

now even the sales staff says that the company is a fraud and they cant do anything about it.

First off, doesn't anyone think it's a little suspicious that people are writing on here how "great" Just Dial is? Obviously tese are people that are monitoring websites and pretending to be customers, when really, they are employees of Just Dial. It's obvious.

Second, I find it extremely unprofessional that an employee of Just Dial would handle a complaint, and to even REPLY to the customer's complaint, via a message board. REALLY?! If you wanted to handle a complaint, if you were a legitimate business of course, you would find our phone number, and CALL us. The fact that you are stalking these complaints and telling us to call you, does not sit well with any customer. You are telling us to call a phone number in India (?) when we are not even in that country. Why would I want to pay to call long distance, to complain to you, when I am obviously not happy with your services?

It's easier to come on this board and just instead. We are etitled to our opinions, and it looks immature, cowardly, and just plain unprofessional when you publicly write back to a customer on a message board.

About my oct to dec 2010 payment, My Reseller ID – R[protected]

Just Dial reseller are not given payment for my work,

I already spend more than Rs.2000 on STD Calls. I talked to Mr.Sharan (Delhi), Mr.Dhiren, Ms Labdhi (Mumbai), Ms Purvi Parikh (Principal Coordinator Ahmedabad) several times, but none of them able to answer my query properly (Data Verification)

Ms Purvi Parikh told me that you are not my reseller, because of i pay from net banking, after she told me that you call Mr Dhiren. Since last one month, i am talking to Mr Dhiren but yet not able to revert on my queries. I have to repeat all story about my payment to this person in each call, which is at least 15 minutes STD Call. Every time, he replied the same answer “he will revert after checking matter”. One week back i call Mr.Dhiren he has cut my call, no body know about just dial database verification system, all revert with standard answer that “this is software generated”. GOD Knows what logic behind this software.

my database of oct 2010 has been bounce after one month and told me that these data entries are not proper. While checking Just Dial Website, they have already uploaded my enteries

I have subscribed my co's profile in just dial for business for 2 month contract. I have paid advance payment towards my 2 months subscription. as per the co's marketing person guidance I have paid for 2 month's subscription,
He has told me that you have to subscribe for 2 month and if you are satisfied with our service
then continue for further subscription through ECS mode of payment.
So I have signed the contract and provided the bank details but I have not signed the ECS form.
but now on 2011 01 Feb.& 14 Feb there is a ECS of 1655/- two time respectively hit in my account without my approval.
I have signed a contract with Just Dial Pvt. Ltd. for providing leads related to my business. I was assured a minimum of 1 lead/day which could go unto 2-3 leads/day. Its been more than a 3 month since I have made their payment but till date have received only 4-5 leads in total i.e. in the !st., on the lead many are false & customer did not give any response, i am complain on just dial by mail but i didn't get any response.
and just dial sale executive mr. sumite who meet me at time of contract also not attend call after attending call give me UN- normal response..
on a time of contract the sales executive fill the form of ecs without my permission on the bunch of paper he give me many signature also on ecs paper by a fraud .
I want details without my permission how the ECS service is activated. I want to take necessary action.

I strictly condemn just dial for what has happened. They are solely responsible in making false promises and misleading information . You should reach the press and TV to make this as an issue along with the others who are affected . Majority always wins.
Approach popular News channels in making them unpopular.
The best thing that i would suggest is all the victims who are from the same city shall have a meet in the city itself register a complaint in hte consumer court.
The news channels will ask for proofs of the fraud so you can produce the complaints.

Just Dial is the only platform where from we get instant services about anything we require, they are providing good services.

She took 10500 rupees from my friend in Ballygunge ( advance, travel charges and commission.)and came to Chennai on 18th April with the maid called Mala/ Abhaya.

She came to Chennai to drop the maid and stayed for two days in my house. On 26th April she called and asked me to send the maid back because there were "problems in the maid's family". I asked her to refund my money or give me a replacement and I would send back the maid. She said "Let me think" and in the afternoon, the maid disappeared after locking the door and taking the key. We broke open the door, and saw that all her luugage along with Rs. 5000, two gold earrings, some silver jewellery some other things, were gone. We immediately lodged an FIR, but got NO help from the agency when we called Khuku.
Please immediately delist this maid agency(I have reported abuse on your site as well, and left a review which has NOT been posted). Khuku Debnath (name on Voter ID card Debjani Debnath) is a complete fraud, she said that the maid was with her now, but she would "see" anyone who went to ask for a refund.

Chennai Police say this is a racket where they take advantage of the fact that Kolkata Police have limited means to act on a Chennai FIR.

Since you have no way of knowing of such frauds unless someone informs you, I am informing you now. Please take appropriate action against this Agency. I can share their photos clicked in Chennai and the FIR copy if you want.

i agree this company is a fraud. infact they have a website where you can write feed back about the companies of which we can get a refernce from them. i along with many others had written negative feedback about one such company. to my shock and utter surprise just dial has removed all the negative feedback and retained only the positives. am so sure they took some extra money from this company. this just amounts to misleading people. How can they actually do this. they are merely conning people and making money from these other companies.

This company is 100% a fraud company but has the capacity to provide information about almost anything with the help of the software they use but they wont provide the contacts of the best and affordable service as they only recommend the name of those registered under them.
Had they to publish all the comment against them they wouldn't have committed such fraud. This itself show that the fraud done is 100% intentional and money minded rather than the mistakes of anyone whom they claim it to be.

FINALLY THEY DO NOT GIVE ANY DOG AND YOUR MONEY IS GONE….THEIR MOBILES ARE SWITCHED OFF LATER TO CUT ANY KIND OF COMMUNICATIONS. BE CAREFUL OF SUCH PEOPLE. THEY MAY EVEN CHANGE THEIR NAMES AND MOBILE NOS TO CHEAT ANYONE.

Just dial Always cheates their customers... Providing information is not enough... one should understand and make their internal customers also happy... JUST DIAL have such kind of irresponsible Managers who can not even resolve your query as well as they wont even responde on Phone/mail

ON 08.03.2011 I SEND E MAIL FOR DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICES OF JUST DIAL SINCE I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THERE SERVICES .

ON 24.04.2011 A REMINDER WAS SENT FOR THE SAME BUT ALL IN VAIN.

ON 09.06.2011 SECOND REMINDER WAS SENT THAT TOO IN VAIN

DESPITE OF MY REMINDERS JUST DIAL IS "VERY FAST: ENOUGH TO CLICK ECS EVERY MONTH SINCE MARCH

One more and important thing to just dial that people across india are calling me and wants to know the grievance . I am very happy to advise them as not to make mistake to join justdial and any deal with the cheater . Till now the count is 20 people in past 25 days .

I used to call Just Dial Delhi[protected] frequently, never mind the call I received immediately from companies for services I was looking for, but one day I received a pestering call for Insurance out of the blue. My mobile is registered with DND services so I was surprised, upon insisting the sales man blurted she had received my number from JUST DIAL, which is illegal.

So, please be careful before you call Just Dial and give your numbers, your personal details will be sold to the highest bidder.
