[Resolved]  Kallada G4 Service — Driver Misbehaved and came forward to hit me

I am not sure whether this complaint will be addressed or not but I would like to share a bad experience with Kallada G4 service that happened to me on 28th March 2010.

After a Good family trip in Guruvayoor, I was travelling alone on my way back to Bangalore from Guruvayoor. I managed to get a ticket in Kallada bus which started at 7pm from Guruvayoor. I didn't had any food from Morning and I was checking with driver whether he has any stop in between to have food.

He told me that he will stop the bus for a while in Palakkad and I can get a food parcel by that time.It was very late night when the bus reached Palakkad. I told the driver that I am going to get the food parcel and he acknowledged the same to me. But by the time I returned. I couldn't find the bus and I saw in moving on a far of distance . I had all my valubale inside that bus and I was really shocked seeing that.

Not knowing what to do at that time in a isolated place I started running behind the bus in vain. Fortunately a Tamil Nadu Trasport bus came and I jumped in and try to chase the Kallada bus. In the mean while I tried to reach the booking Office ( Travel Hut) in Guruvayoor. The person there was not having the driver's mobile number. He inturn tried to reach a fellow passenger who boarded from Guruvayoor and managed to stop the bus. By this time we have covered more than 2 to 3km.

Finally when I started entering the bus I was greeted by a funny comments from the crew members and as a frustrated passenger I started yelling at the driver ( a Dark Fat Guy) for his negligence and questioned him how can he do that to me and who will be responsible for my valuable if I missed it.

That rude driver instead of accepting his mistake stood up from his seat and started coming forward to hit me, saying I am not your servant to shout at me.

There were 3 crew members and I was alone in a isolated place very late night. Considering my safety and safe return I was forced to be silent through out the journey.

The very next day I tried to reach Kallada Head office in Kerala and lodged a complaint. But it was shocking to hear from them that the bus I travelled was from their rival group operating in the same name and they are helpless. And I am not sure where to lodge a complaint against actual culprits. As informed Suresh-Kallada is the original group and G4-Kallada is their competitor. But by my experiece on a first look at the bus you don't find any difference at all....Name boards almost looks very similar for both group.

This was the first time I was using Kallada Service and I am really upset with this incident. All the happy time I had in Guruvayoor with my family was over shawdowed by this incident. :(

When I tried to login a complaint in this website. I understood that I am not alone in such brutality. There are even more pathetic incidents to other peoples , who had bad experience with Kallada services, which make my experiece sound simple.

I am not sure whether some authorities are looking in to this website and taking any action as I am not able to find anything of that kind.

However I felt the importance for the Kallada travel agency to look in to it. I have provided them this link to go through and take necessary steps to improve their customer satisfaction.

Still its a nightmare.. when I think.. what would have happened if a TamilNadu bus hasn't come and my phone calls were not connecting... :(
