[Resolved] Kelvinator Washing Machine Model Kfa 601 — Bad after sales service | |
Sir, I am a senior citizen and a retired University Professor. I purchased one Kelvinator Automatic Washing machine on 3rd January, 2009 from M/S Electro Trading Corp., B-12/19 (S) Kalyani, Nadia (Phone[protected] and ionstalled it at my house (B-2/325). But soon after installation, the machine occasional;y started showing "Error" in operation, and failed to do the washing. On my intimation, one technician was sent by the Company who told us that the error was due to improper water supply and advised us to clean the pipeline and inform him again after the water line is cleaned. As I live with my wife (also a senior citizen) here and my children are away, I informed them by telephone several times, both to the shop and the Co. technician. But they never had the time to visit my place again. I personally went to the shop 3-4 times and requested them to send one technician who would only connect the pipe with the tap, but they always put in some excuse and told that soon they would send some one to get the pipe fitted with the tap. Then again I requested them two days before, they assured that someone will attend soon. But today on telephoning them twice, again they say that the technician from the company may give us a visit within two days. Now my question to the company is: 1) Why two old persons who purchased a product bearing a warranty for every thing for one year has to wait for indefinte period eventhough at the time of purchase, they were assured of a prompt service? Is the delay tactical and deliberate to bye time, so that the warranty period lapses? 2) I did not find any Customer care in the internet. Why should such a so-called renowned co. not have a customer care centre to cater to needs of the buyers? 3. Why the Co. does not verify the credibility of the shop which are supposed to be authorized dealers? They even do not know how to talk with a senior citizen, who is also as renowed University Professor and has many more important things to do? Will the Co. take notice that such practices will spoil their credibility and even land them to the Consumer Redressal Forum to deliver justice to unsuspecting customers?
