Kingfisher Airlines — Booking tickets through kingfisher was a blunder

As Kingfisher was offering the least fare to Andaman, we five friends decided to book tickets through it. We booked the tickets through http://www.flykingfisher.com, a big blunder it was.

We selected a round trip to Port Blair (Andaman) from Chennai with the following dates;
Chennai to Port Blair -> 22nd Aug 09
Port Blair to Chennai -> 29 Aug 09 (Return ticket date)
And proceeded with the booking - there was a provision to enter two different email id's primary and secondary - I specified two different email id's here (This is what has to save me - read through further) and made the payment through credit card.

Now, here is the blunder, I received the itenary details to the primary email id with the following details;
Chennai to Port Blair -> 22nd Aug 09
Port Blair to Chennai -> 22 Aug 09 (Return ticket date) instead of 29th Aug 09.

I received a SMS alert from fly kingfisher which states the below;
"Your booking is confirmed on Kingfisher Airlines flight IT3631/22AUG MAA-IXZ @0455 hrs, IT3632/29AUG IXZ-MAA @0725 hrs."

And as well received an email to the secondary email id (specified while booking) from fly kingfisher with the below details;
"Dear Guest,
Thank you for choosing Kingfisher Airlines.
Your booking is confirmed on Kingfisher Airlines flight IT3631/22AUG MAA-IXZ @0455 hrs, IT3632/29AUG IXZ-MAA @0725 hrs.
Your PNR is AAAAGY.
Guests who are booking using credit cards are requested to carry their credit card / Copy of the credit card for verification at the airport.
You can reach us at [protected] or [protected]"

Now, when we contacted the KF customer care team on the same, their answer to this - 'Sir, you have selected the wrong date, you had never selected 29th Aug.'
When we mentioned to them about the message/email I had received with the correct dates and told them they had a faulty application, they reply - There is no problem with their application, it is perfect. The email was not sent by them, inturn they said - we must have manipulated the mail to reflect the correct dates. They did not have an answer to the SMS on my mobile.
Fly Kingfisher is asking us to pay a rescheduling fee to get the return journey date changed.
When contacted the [protected]@flykingfisher.com, they as well had the same answer.

We friends are still trying to get this solved.

Please be careful while you are booking tickets through Kingfisher.

I have another complaint -

I booked a ticket in May for 27th June from Bangalore to Nagpur and had an important meeting on 27th 4 pm at Nagpur. 2 days ago i received an sms (not even a call) that my flight has been cancelled. The customer care provided me with an option of travelling via Hyderabad and halting at the Hyderabad airport at night and travelling the next day to Nagpur. When i asked about the accomodation i was asked to call back after 3 hours. Do you guys have something called `ETHICS AND MORAL VALUES????? How do you expect a girl travelling alone to stay in airport the entire night?? Then finally when i called they replied the flight will be operating on 27th. Now the flight timings were changed and the flight was supposed to leave at 12.15 pm and reach at 1.55 pm. Finally when i was about to leave in 10 minutes i received an sms again that my flight will depart at 2.50 pm. When i inquired from the customer care i was given an excuse of OPERATING ERRORS and that they do not have any aircraft right now to fly to Nagpur. Such kind of POOR operations are unexpected from Kingfisher. I have been a regular guest of Kingfisher Airlines and this kind of PATHETIC AND POOR service has made me think how can Kingfisher even claim to be called as "KING OF GOOD TIMES" it should rather be "KING OF SAD TIMES".I think instead of travelling by plane i could have boarded Rajdhani Express the previous night and reached Nagpur on time and that too at a lower price. I keep reading quotes by Mr. Vijay Mallya but this kind of services has made me believe that there is some serious fault. Have you ever analysed the fact that amongst all the airlines operating in India Kingfisher has the maximum delays. I am indeed planning to go to Consumer Forum because of the poor services and miscommunication i canceled my meeting.I am not concerned about the money but Kingfisher should learn a lesson from this case rather than playing with the emotions of the passengers and Cheating them. Kindly consider my advice seriously and advice the Management to hire some Management Grads to take care of the operations.

i have booked my ticket thru kingfisher from srinangar to delhi. i was with my family wife & two children my children pressurise me to book ticket thru kingfisher since they want to experiance of 5 star facility.
they want to have chocklates, they want to watch TV etc.

Our Experiance:

TV at all the 4 seats no>35A, 35D, 35C &35B We called the flight attended to see the TV Function they said we are soory it's not working.& they have shown us that Seat buttun itself was not there ( enclosed please find photos)

Than we asked for cotton since my wife was feeling pain in her ears. they said sorry we don't have even cotton.


I am really shocked to see the kind of treatment kingfisher has given us they actually spoil our holiday mood & my children said we will not travel by kingfisher in future.

We have given our complaint in the complaint form but till date there is no reply.

Mr. Mallya is this the way you are treating your guest??

Is this is your 5 star flights.

Please note that we have paid for it as other cutomers paid.

You are requested to refund my money immediately.

Otherwise we have no other option to go to MRTP.
