Kingfisher Airlines — No refund credited after cancellation
I cancelled two flights in October 2008 but till now I have not received my refund. I have been the call centers daily but they keep on giving fake assurance of refunding my amount in next two days. With that it has been almost 6 months now. I even wrote about my greivances in the Feedback section on KingFisher Airlines website but no action was taken.The details are as follows:
1.PNR: 8473077( Chennai -Delhi) scheduled for 24-10-08

The mode of payment was credit card.
Kingfisher — Cancellation of flights and poor service
My parents are senior citizens and have recently travelled Bangalore London. They are scheduled to travel back to Bangalore on the 23rd of September by a return flight London-Bangalore.Kingfisher have conveniently decided to cancel their London Bangalore flights and are now only willing to route them via Mumbai. The wait period at Mumbai is about 6 hours.
If I had known that my parents would have to take connecting flights, I would have rather put them on Emirates. the reason we chose Kingfisher is because it was a direct flight.
The customer services are most unhelpful and I have decided to never travel Kingfisher again.
I am now seeking to complain to the AUC in the UK.
Airlines — Refund
Hi,1. Ticket details:-
(a) Kingfisher Airlines PNR No: HFHEGG.
(b) Flight Ticket Number: [protected].
(c) Issuing Airline - KINGFISHER AIRLINES.
2. I travelled through your airlines flight from Lucknow to Jammu on 21 Jan 2010. I was given a single ticket as well as a single boarding pass from Lucknow to Jammu which clearly means that the flight is meant to go upto Jammu and most importantly the same was confirmed by the airlines staff on duty and at the ticketing counter at Lucknow airport.
3. I was boarded out of the flight at Delhi airport saying that the flight is going to Pune. On arriving at the Kingfisher counter at Delhi airport I was told that the flight to Jammu from Delhi has been cancelled and I will be refunded the full amount of the flight from Delhi to Jammu as one Sector of travel i.e. from Lucknow to Delhi has been done. Not a FULL REFUND.
4. On this I would like to highlight:
(a) Firstly, I was issued one Boarding Pass from Lucknow to Jammu meant for one flight (the photo of the same is attached) and not two (Lucknow to Delhi and Delhi to Jammu) meant for Connecting Flight or a change of aircraft.
(b) Secondly, your website is itself showing the direct flight from Lucknow to Jammu with a stop at Delhi. Point to be noted, not a CONNECTING FLIGHT.
(c) Last but not the least, even though your website is not showing the flights correctly, the ground staff should have been well aware of the changes in flight schedules/routes as they are the one booking the flights from your counters. They are the one who are not properly trained, are not cohesively working as a team, giving a dreadest as you have your quote “Flying Experience” to the passengers and shifting the blame on them.
5. My ticket was booked from your counter at Lucknow airport and I therefore, request you to provide me the Full Refund of my ticket from LUCKNOW TO JAMMU.

Kingfisher Airlines — Inappropriate refund
Hi,I had 2 flights Agra to Delhi and Delhi to Pune for which I had purchased tickets for my wife and myself for rs. 6,033/- per head. Kingfisher cancelled their Agra to Delhi flight on the morning of travel and refunded only Rs. 229/- per head. This amount of refund is inappropriate when compared to the booking amount they had charged.
Their reply on this matter is:

Dear Mr. Arya,
Thank you for your correspondence to us dated 16th March 2010. We regret the delay in our response to you.
With reference to your email, we have checked the matter with the concerned team and have been informed that since the reservations are booked on a Through Fare, the base fare is charged in conjunction with both the segments (i.e. Agra to Pune via Delhi) and for both the sectors, the taxes are collected once. In case of cancellation of the sector, only airport facility charge of INR 229 are refundable and hence the same has been refunded accordingly.
A refund of the above amount was processed per guest per ticket on 07th March 2010. The reference number for the same are[protected] and[protected]. The amount reflects the account in the next billing cycle.
In this context we are unable to comply with any addition in the refund amount as we have detected no deviation from the standard fare policy. In doing so you can be certain that no discourtesy is intended.
We thank you for providing us with the opportunity for an explanation. We apologise for any disappointment caused and look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you onboard Kingfisher Airlines.

Kingfisher — Delayed flights
Their flights are very delayed and there is no option of even trying to reschedule or any option of refund available. It is very unfair to the passengersKingfisher Airlines — CANCELLED FLIGHT
my flight was on 19th November PNR No OVOAVD from Delhi to Agra.(Flight No. IT4367 - Ticket No.[protected] due to weather conditions the flight got can celled Delhi and so i missed the connecting flight. i later payed for cab for the way to Agra. please send me the refundKingfisher online — refund
I had booked my ticket to and fro from pune to calcutta but airline cancelled (both ways) it for some reason and had asked us to call and get the ticket arranged.I decided to cancel my ticket from kol to pune.Since they had cancelled i am eligible to get entire money refund without any cancellation charges.I had to call them more than 10 times to get my refund. It has been almost 2 months that i have been trying to get my refund!!!!Everytime i call (after waiting for 45mins to 1hr to reach them, on phone) i have to explain my situation from the start and then they assure that you will get your refund within 10 days but it never happens!!!!!Till date i have not received my money back!
I am tired of getting in touch with them and keep checking my account if i have got my money.I am really sick of it. I was appearing for my exam but yet i had keep following these guys.
