[Resolved]  Kmart — Rusty shopping carts.

The Big Kmart Store 7294 shopping carts are rusty and your hands smell after using them to shop. They are the same shopping carts that have been there for years. I will say the store is well stock, looks good and the workers are good. The shopping carts are disgusting! Just to look at them is upsetting than there is the smell of rust on you hands after using them. Please do something about them. I don't think many people take the time to complain, but please check it out. I really would love to continue to shop there, but it is hard when something so somple to fix doesn't get fixed. Please, I beg you, check it out.

Kmart — Nextar Mp3 Player

Kmart advetised a Lextar Mp3 Player with voice recorder on special for $17.99. I went to purchase one and none were available in any of three different stores. I got a raincheck which did no good because they did not get any for over two months and the raincheck was only good for 1 month. How can a store advertise items they don't have available inhouse or online. This is not the first time I have gone to get a specific item only to find out they didn't have it. So I left the store without purchasing the other items I was going to purchase at the same time and went to another store. Very distraught.
I can not find the feedback site either. Has the gift card offer for doing the survey expired?

Kmart — Cashier named Liz

Hello, today i went to Kmart in Somerville, MA. The cashier was so rude i almost walked out. If i didnt really need the items i had and if i had not been standing in line for about 20 minutes i would have. She was ringing up someone in front of me who had a spiderman scooter that didnt have a upc number. She called toys and waiting for them to come down. They finally came down and the lady esplained to her that she had the same problem with the scooter yesterday. So they contacted a manager and then the clerk and the customer proceeded to go back to toys. This whole time the cashier is holding up the line. I said to her you cant just void out her sale and ring us up, and with an additude she said NO! Now she didnt have a upc to ring up the scooter so what was in the register that she couldnt void? i worked in customer service for over 15yrs and would never think about treating a customer like this. The store was so crowded and there were not enough cashiers and that seems to be the problem all the time. I love the store and the products and of course the prices but i dread going threw the cashiers cause there is always a problem.

we just moved to Hyannis MA and went to the Kmart there. We found you had moved things about since we were last there. It would be helpful to have some sort of store map so we could more easily find out where things are. Since you no longer have a customer service desk at the entrance, this becomes almost necessary. We like Kmart because we can do one-stop shopping and find things quickly and be in and out of the store in an efficient manner.

Perhaps you have yet to put up the store map. If so, thank you for doing so.

Kmart — waste time

I went to KMART wanna buy a step can which is on the weekly ad yesterday. I look everywhere not even see one. I also ask for help, that salesman was runing back and forth trying to find it for me. Finally, I gave up. I don't understand why is on the weekly ad? Why "WHOLE" store did not even have one? That really wasted my time.

K MART/SHOES — FALSE ADVERTISING

I AM A DISABLED RETIRED SHOPPER AND I WAS IN THE KENT, WA K MART SHOPPING TODAY IN THE SHOE DEPT. AND THE SIGN SAID BUY ONE PAIR OF SHOES ON SALE AND GET THE SECOND PAIR OF SALE SHOES HALF PRICE WELL I DID THAT AND WHEN I CHECKED OUT THE CASHIER SAID THAT IT HAD TO BE BOGO SHOES BUT THE SIGNS DID NOT SAY THAT AND THE CASHIER AGREED THAT IT DIDN'T BUT IT STILL HAD TO BE BOGO SHOES, WHEN I SAID WELL YOUR SIGN NEEDS TO SAY THAT OR YOU PEOPLE SHOULD WRITE THAT WORD IN SHE AGREED BUT WOULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I HAVE BEEN A K MART SHOPPER FOR YEARS BUT NOW I WILL HAVE TO RECONSIDER TO SEE IF I WANT TO CONTINUE SHOPPING WHERE THEY DO FALSE ADVERTISING. THANK YOU

Kmart — took coupon didn't deduct the price

Everytime I go to this kmart there is an issue. Usually it's something supposed to be on sale and it doesn't ring up on sale.. then you have to go wait in line at the service center. etc This time I had a coupon. the girl took the coupon but didn't take the amount off. I have top wait again to get the money

Kmart — handicapp persons

I like kmart. I like the good prices and sales. What I do not like is the one I go to rarely has the handicapp cart running. They only have two to begin with and right now one went out for repair and its been gone for a month. Today the other one was dead. I am handicappd and on oxygen. For me to walk from the parking lot to find out if there is a cart is exhausing. If you know that the carts are dead put a big sign in the window so the handicapped people can read it before ever getting out of the car. I can not drive and today I had to pay someone to take me and could not shop anyway. My person who brought me went in for my two most important items.
At the checkout, there was only one opened and there was probably 10 people in line. The other girl had just went for break. When the one that was open and the cashier was working, she put all items in bags, but did not bother to put the bags in peoples baskets. They had to do that for themselves. If you had had a cart and I had did my shopping I would not have been able to pick up the bags and put them in the basket.
Most of the time the help is nice and courteous. However there is one person who works at the front desk and she is mgmt and she is rude, rude, rude. I brought back a toaster that the handle had broke in the first week i had it. She would not take it back.
She said because I did not have the box it came in. Who keeps a box for a toaster. What toaster breaks in a week. I was quite upset that day.
Most of the time, I can get the items I need at Walmart cheaper, but I like where kmart is, close to me.

I have looked on the site for the survey, however I see no place to take the survey. The site is not people friendly.

K-Mart — instant coupon

A new register opened up for me, which was nice. Also, the cashier was friendly but he didn't see the instant coupon on one of my items. I hardly see the same employees on subsequent trips to the store which suggests high turnover. The employees are nice but not well trained because they are always brand new. One time I tried to buy a light saber for a childs party and they wouldn't sell it to me because they couldn't determine the correct price- there was a price sticker on it.

I shopped a Kmart on Nov 14th. The receipt said to go online and enter to win $2, 500 gift card. I went online and entered "kmartfeedback.com" as instructed. I saw many complaints and praises from other shoppers, but nowhere did I find the "survey". Where did you hide it? How do I access it? Or is this just b.s.?

Kmart — store pricing

First of all I must say I normally love K-mart. I shop there all the time. I love the Martha Stewart line, I usually find things at K-Mart that I can't find anywhere else. But my experience today, black Friday, was horrible. It has made me rethink my devotion to K-Mart. I went to the Joliet store 3751 this morning to find all the great things that were on sale. First of all there were hardly any sales staff to help. Most things were not marked on sale. It was very difficult to find the things that were on sale. I never found the hanes products that were supposed to be on sale. I did find the Men's boxers which were clearly marked 50% off, but when I got to the register( I waited 15 minutes in one line and then switched to another where I spent another 10 mins) the price was not coming up on sale. I was extremely frustrated by this time and almost told the cashier to cancel the entire sale. Which I didn't. I realize this is the biggest shopping day of the year but the store should have been more prepared. I tried to talk to the manager but was rebuffed. It was the worst experience of my entire day. I went to seven other stores and did not have any trouble at them. I should transfer my business to one of these stores instead of being faithful to K-Mart. Things need to change or else you could lose more than just my business.

I don't have any complaints other than the pricing. KMART is more expensive than WALMART. KMART is more expensive than SEARS which they are affiliated with. I ended up with a better deal on a rug cleaner in SEARS than the same one in KMART.

Kmart — End Display Signage

On December 19, 2008, my family went to the Kmart on 7th street and Baseline in Phoenix, Arizona. We bought two pairs of kid slippers and the header sign said buy one get the second one for 50% off. We got charged the $6.99 for each pair of slippers and not the sale price that the sign said. We went to the customer Service desk and spoke with Dana (Check out Supervisior) and she would not offer the sale price of the buy one get one for 50% off because they were already on sale for $6.99. Their header sign for the buy one get one 50% off should not be above the slippers, if they were not on that sale program.

Kmart — courtesy

I shop for my mother and brother every week . Purchases are done on debit cards, they each have there own . I explained to the cashier I had three different orders and she responeed with a sigh, an expression of disapproval and a comment of " why don't you pay for it together and split the money up "? So I explained the situation .Then she says "come on". It isn't her business if I have three orders or one. I cashiered for several years in a grocery store and never said anything to a customer if they had more then one order.She was rude . I would hate to go somewhere else be because I use the pharmacy also. (the employees there are wonderful) . The location was 19990 Telegraph Rd. Detroit, MI. 48219 the day was 3-6-09, and the cashier was Alma ( who wasn't wearing a name tag) I got that from the receipt. I thought you would like to know.
