[Resolved]  Kmart — Customer Service

Store Number 3407. I was in the store to return a product that was purchased as a gift and the individual did not like it. I simply wanted a credit because I was going to give the money right back to Kmart. However, the little snotty woman I dealt with was not someone that I would ever want to deal with again. Admittedly, I did not have my receipt and I know I had been in the store within 30-days give or take a week or so. Any way, I spent a total of $196.40 in this store and here is my receipt number:[protected] on 3/4/09 @ 5:47 pm EST. Now, I thought I had taken the receipt and left it in KY since I went there to give the gifts I bought but I found it today.

Now, let me give this to you straight. This woman at the customer service desk looked down on me as if I was trying to get one over on her. She made me feel like a common thief. In fact, she stated, with other people around well we could have had a buy 1 get on half off and all you can get is an 8.49 credit when the shoes were more than that. The tag stated 16.99 but after finding my receipt I paid 14.99 per each pair of shoes. NOT BUY ONE GET ON HALF OFF. I am a very honest person and would have told her that I got them but one get one half off but I knew that I had not. So, for her to look down her nose at me and treat me like a common thief is unacceptable. I will be returning to this store and hopefully will be able to hold my temper because I intend on screaming to the top of my lungs that I am not a common thief trying to get more money for nothing. If she is there she can eat the receipt as far as I am concerned. However, I would like an apology from this woman and from your company. I did not get her name but I can describe her. She is short with dark short hair and glasses and I believe she had on black slacks. Frankly, what would really make me happy is to shove the receipt down her throat but since that is not possible an apology for being treated like the dregs of humanity will suffice. I know there are people out there that do things of that nature but I am not one of them and she doesn't need to treat everyone in that manner. Especially, since I was in very expensive clothes and my bracelet that I had on probably cost more than her whole outfit including glasses and shoes and perfume she might have had on.
