Kolkata Passport Office — Delay in passport issue

I have applied for my and my son's passport vide application no.CAL W540307 (key no. [protected], 24 Parganas North) and CAL W540308 (key no. [protected], 24 Parganas North) on 28 Jan, 2011. As on date 2 June 2011, police verification has also not been completed. I am in urgent need of my passport. Please look into the matter.

Delay in issue of Passport
Sir,

I have applied for the passport on[protected]. Police verification completed and Police Verification report has been sent to the RPO. The status of my application says that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week's time & in a week’s time means forever. I have tried to contact the RPO by phone and e-mail. No reply.

As it is urgent, I request you to look into this.
