Dear Sir/ Madam,
This is to inform you that on 30th Jan 10, I had purchased a shirt from Koutons, Rash Behari Avenue, Kolkata, Ph[protected], vide Memo No. : D3D[protected] & payment was made through cash. The particulars of the shirt are mentioned as below :
Particulars - K[protected]/F, Qty - 1 no., Rate - Rs.2299, Discounted price - Rs.575. Now the shirt was found to be torn at one place. When we went to return the faulty product the person at the counter asked us to replace the same from the racks, but the same size -42 was not in stock. Thus the salesman asked us to wait till new stocks arrive. He promised that fresh stocks would arrive latest by Monday i.e. 8th Feb 10. But till now he had not replaced it & says that he would only replace once there is fresh stock. Now my question is what is the time frame till which I need to wait? My money is blocked for no reason/fault of mine. Why don't they give it in writting the tentative date when they would replace the same. Moreover what if new stocks come with either higher price tag or the discount offered currently @ 75% is waived off from the company's side, would I be ending up paying more? Then why don't they refund us the money so that we could decide as to what we need to do. However on 1st Feb 10, a lady named Sonia called up from the Consumer Complaint division of Koutons & after explaining her the entire incident she asked for 2 days to suggest a remedy after which never turned up? Is this how Koutons India Retail division solve customer complaints????????

Koutons Retails INdia Pvt Ltd — Cheap Product
HiI bought a Les Femme Bag on sale from Koutons branch, Lajpat Nagar-II on 11th July 2009. After one week the cloth inside the bag torn off. When i took it to Koutons to replace the bag they refused and i told them that i don't have any copy of the bill. I asked them to issue me a duplicate copy of the bill. they refused to do it.
Pleasen suggest waht should be done. As i am very irritated. I wonder why the customers are terated like this in India.
