[Resolved]  KSRTC — Conductor misbehavior

Dear Sir,

yestarday while travelling 19.12 p.m.from Harihara to Harapanahalli, Bus No KA-09 4412, Madikeri to Kudlagi,evening, the conductor of this bus presurrise to get down in Harapanahalli bus stand at 8.30.p.m. that time i request to coductor, please wait 2 minutes,my parents are old ages they are sitting in front,

he started to abuse why you are sitting in that much front, if not able to get down early, you travell your own vehicle, same time i also tel it is not a way a speaking, suddenly he strted to abuse with me, what you do i behave like this only.

i suddenly note down the BUs no, again he come back rashly, what you are doing, it is not your father bus like that he replays and gone.

Kindly requeast, please guide that conductor & should not repeat.

KSRTC — KSRTC Online detected the money without confirming the ticket

I have booked the ticket through online in KSRTC transport from madurai to bangalore, but they have detected the amount with out confirming the ticket. i have sent couple of mail, but no response
Any body can help me to get back my money
We use KSRTC service for all our traveling needs and were quite satisfied with the service until now. On[protected], me and my husband had to urgently travel to Mangalore and could not book ticket in advance. We asked the conductor on the spot of a Rajahamsa Executive bus if two tickets were available and he said yes and told us to sit in seat no. 11 and 12. The bus departure time was 10 pm. After the bus departed from KBS, he started issuing tickets. He told the charge is 680 rs from Bangalore to Mangalore. We gave the money and when we took the ticket, it was written as 664 rs for two tickets. When I asked him the remaining money, he shouted at me vulgarly and left off. Its not the matter of 16 rs or 100 rs, but how can a person literally BEG for money??? We strongly believe KSRTC is paying well to its staff. How can they act as BEGGARS to the passengers??? How can the conductor behave such rudely to a passenger???

It is such a dismay to travel in KSRTC and BMTC buses these days, I think the system's corruption level has reached its heights.Something needs to be done to handle this, dont know whether the transport minister is doing anything to handle this.
I am a regular commuter of KSRTC and BMTC buses. I commute to and from my office which is in binnamangala, i have been facing problems with the bus conductors in terms of their behavior and the fraud they do to the commuters. I have had a tit wid one of them very recently on this. He almost became violent.Today again such incident happened.
I boarded the bus from Benninganahalli, asked for the ticket, the driver gave me an already used ticket. I refused to take that and then after lot of arguments he gave me another ticket, he wrote the balance on it.
To my fortune i noted down the ticket number, because i knew he is going to do some foul play later.
And there it is, after getting down from the bus, the ticket i got from the driver which he gave me with the balance was a different one.What is this happening, they are corrupt to such extend that for 1 or 2 rupees they will sell their moral values ?? They are not better than the beggars on the street.

With such a sad and desparate heart am raising these complaint.
I had a train ticket from bangalore to thrissur on 12th feb and because of some pending work i was forced to cancel the ticket and book a ticket in kerala ksrtc bangalore scheduled at 7:30 evening.But in a hurry, i marked the boarding point as Bangalore instead of MADIWAL ST/JHNs stop.
I called up Ksrtc and the repective person too spoke very rough saying why can't you book it properly.I somehow manage to get the conductors number and called up him.
He blasted upon me asking me to come to satellite bustand. If i had that time to travel from whitefield to satellite bustand i would have never cancelled my train ticket.
He started giving lectures saying you don't have sense to book it properly isn't it?
Is that the way a customer expect from KSRTC department.I said if you can't do the needful let me contact your Authority.He kept the phone challenging me. And i find it real tough to travel in the same bus, so again unfortunately booked the ticket in 10 pm bus mentioning proper boarding point.

Is it not fare .Is it like the conductors clearly understand that nobody is going to complaint against him.
They behaves as supreme authorities.I have seen many condutors making proxy tickets too..

With respect i know they too work hard for living .we too work hard for the same.So we expects some respect afterall.

I am the simple passenger, on 2nd may 2010, me traveled from Mangalore to Hubli by your KSRTC BUS NO : KA-19, 2803. Infact after getting the ticket i just simply asked to conductor that where did u stop the bus for Dinner?? He told Shirur - shivadarshan hotel. Many passangers argues with that conductor that can they please stop the bus any other places, but conductor not agreeing & telling its KSRTC decision.

As you know the HOTEL SHIVADARSHAN is not good hotel & we have to forcefully to take food, & we dont have a option to go other hotels, & the food quality, even rates are not even touched to any passangers. If we asked to hotel owner, he telling OUR PRICE IS LIKE ONLY. IF YOU WANT TAKE THIS.. Always all passangers get irritated with your HOTEL SHIVADARSHAN's food & rates. But conductor & drivers takes NONVEG dinners in same hotel. Is there any meaning in this?? then why the difference to passangers & staffs?? If we ask to your staffs, they telling, if you dont like the hotel CHANGE THE BUS... We dont have option to go other hotels, But hotel owner has option to get other passangers.

My request is please change the DINNER BREAK PLACE TO bhatkal, so that, passangers can select the hotels & they have to food peacefully. At least you people take care of passengers also. Bus cannot be stop at Jungle places. It should be stoped to CITY places where passangers can take food, with many options.

KSRTC should take immediate remedy of such complaints where public money is blocked while e-booking. KSRTC does not bother to acknowledge such complaints and distant comuters are harassed by the staff sitting on helpline desks. They are not seems to be competent to deal such complaints and are unskilled workers. In my case my 820/- Rs. were debited while booking e-ticket from Ooty to Bangalore. My OB no. is 2250298 . KSRTC — Excess ticket fare by conductor

Hi, Every week end Friday, i used to travel from Bangalore to Chennai by Rajahamsa service. Actual fare is Rs 243.The problem is coductors are asking Rs100 in excess to the actual fare. If not given they are not ready to allow to board inside thebus. There is nobody to complaint at that time 10.30pm. Drivers also supportive to this since they are getting their share. Rs100 excess is almost 41% of the ticket fare.
Please take neceesary action.

Respected Sir, I have a complaint against a conductor of city service bus no. RAC 632,
operated from Peroorkkada depot. I am residing at Mavelikara and working at TVM in Land Revenue Department, Public Office Building, Museum Jn. I am daily depends on bus from Thampanoor to Museum Jn. to reach my office and vice versa. The incident arises against the complaints on[protected] around 4.40 PM. I get into the bus at Palayam and bought a ticket to worth Rs. 4/- in order to get down at Statute stop and gave Rs. 10/- to the conductor. The conductor asked me to give tender change for the ticket, at that time I have only ten rupee note and one rupee coin this facts conveyed to the conductor. He told me the balance will be given either any tender change received or before you get down at statue stop. He did not do that, I noticed that, he give balance as change to some other passengers take ticket to East Fort they are take ticket even after me. I questioned to the conductor this is not a manner. Why shouldn't you give me the balance, He replied that, you don’t teach any manner to me, if you want to the balance you should come to East Fort other wise travel with tender change, at that time the bus reached Statue Stop I have to get down at Statue. I am again asked to the conducted give me the balance. But he didn't hear my words. I stood some more time inside the bus at Statue, I knew that, he is not willing to give back the balance and also think that this may causes more problems to the other passengers, then I trying to get down the bus, suddenly the conductor rang the bell before I get down, the door forcely hit my right shoulder and my shirt has torned at the right shoulder. This may causes some financial as well as mental difficulties for me.

KSRTC Vehicle is a Public Transport vehicle, so KSRTC have to preserve the public interest. The conductor has spoken to me some indecent words between the other passengers
The conductor is liable to give the balance amount, because he issues the ticket. He is abetted me to travel from Statue to East Fort with out ticket. He rang the bell before I get down the bus and trying to hurt to me.

Yesterday ,I went to drop my sister to the bus stop in majestic. She had 4 bags of luggage & they were quite heavy. The conductor checked her ticket & let her in. I followed her to keep the luggage inside the bus, as she couldn't lift them all. The conductor asked me to get down from the bus ( very aggressively , like I had committed a 'Sin' ) . When i asked him why , he burst out saying you can't enter the bus without a ticket . I told him politely, I 'll just keep her luggage & come out. N he was like, No she can manage on her own, you first come out . I mean How dare he even say that. It's not that we are traveling in their bus for free !!!

Hope the conductor is thought some basic mannerism on how to talk to customers, even before driving !! They really need some lessons on this.

KSRTC — Didn't receive balance amount

My name is Athira. On 6th of september 2012, i travelled with my mom from thrissur to ernakulam by KSRTC at 7am. I gave the conductor 500 rupees and 8 rupees. The amount was 108. We forgot to collect the balance amount.

Let me begin with the appreciation for the quality of buses you have. However the staff need serious training on courteous speech and behaviour. I traveled with my daughters on 22 Oct by the night service form Mys to Ernakulam by the 1735 hrs bus.
(1)The conductor refused to give us blankets at 8 p m when my daughters were starting to feel cold and also wished to sleep.We were told that the blankets would be given only after the halt for dinner.However, I got only one blanket. The conductor and driver gave different reasons for not giving them-one was that customers get off with the blankets and the other was that they have to fold so many of them!!!To this I asked if he could atleast give passengers travelling to the last stop, the blankets and to that he said he would do so only at Calicut-(11 pm).Does this 'new' policy means that you expect us to stay awake till 11p m waiting for blankets and suffering the cold when the journey ends a mere 5 hrs later?
(2) The toilet facility at dinner halt at Sultan Battery is very poor. The hotel has taken many months to renovate the place.The toilets have new tiles but no commode!!!A hole in the floor serves as an outlet for the refuse! It is SHOCKING that an esteemed service such as yours is party to this..We were further shocked to see a man come out of the ladies toilet!!.Some serious steps need to be taken to make the dinner halt a safe and hygienic stop as many ladies travel on this route.
(3) The driver and conductor should speak to each other in softer tones as it disturbs the passengers.
When the bus stops at a town they should not shout to wake up all the passengers. It is extremely rude. They have a list of which passenger gets off at these places, and the best thing to do would be to walk up to the passengers and wake them. This happens in long distance trains, so it is possible on buses too.
