[Resolved]  Lenovo 3000 N100 — battery

i bought my lenovo 3000 N100 laptop in july 2007 n the battery stooped working after 1 yr got over, so i could not even claim the warranty. n i saw many ppl have the same problem with this series. when i tried to replace the battery i was told to buy a new one. could you please help me out with this problem as it is defect in this series itself.

I bought a lenovo 3000 N100 around july 2007.For the past few days the battery is not functioning. It shows"plugged in, not charging".At present it has 68% chare.if iconnect the charger the computer functions an the charge gets decreased by one are two degrees everyday.If I disconnect the charger the computer does'nt start.Could any one offer an effective solution?I bought this computer in US

lenova has the best control over battery life across the world and they are masters in the art of making or getting battery outsourced from others to suite their requirements- THEIR POLICY IS SIMPLE- THE BATTERY SHOULD WORN OUT IN 13 MONTHS SO THAT WE WILL SHELL OUT ANOTHER 6K FROM OUR POCKET- great company, great policy - kudos -

same laptop 0768 n100 aq1, and same problem. first time battery stopped working at 11 th month. lenovo replaced the battery free of cost, and again after about 10 months the battery is dead. But I am out warranty. Looks like batteries are really programmed to worn out in 13 months or so. My usage is very high so it worns out in 10-11 months. tell me a solution. if necessary, i might help to file a lawsuit against it. thanks

Lenova business strategy sucks!! I wonn't recommend to go for Lenova laptop.
I have bought the lenovo 3000 N100 series laptop and its battery stopped working just after 1 yr.
