Lenovo 3000 Y - 500 Laptop — unable to partition the hard disk

I have a lenovo 3000 y500 laptop with windows vista home basic installed in it .I am unable to partition my hard disk .kindly suggest me a possible solution.

i bought lenovo3000 y500 laptop on march 2008. my webcam is not working even i reinstall the webcam software given with the laptop. and my speakers did not give much sound, what can i do?
can u please give me solution for those problems.
