[Resolved]  LG 1.5 Ton Split Ac — Bad attitude of service representatives

I had bought a 1.5 ton split AC from a retailer in Vapi, gujarat. The AC was installed by the dealer himself. After exactly 15 days of installation my AC stopped working(no cooling). I called upon the service centre to launch a complaint my complaint no is W8C83001827 ON AUGUST 30TH. Promptly an LG representative appeared after 2 days, he looked(not checked) at my AC it and pronounced that there was a gas leakage in the unit, the reason being that it was installed by the dealer. I asked him what i must do, he told that Lg itself will take up the matter with the dealer. I was waiting for three days to get some reply, having got none, i myself called them. I got a reply stating that i should have called the LG customer service to get my AC installed. I got upset, how the hell am i supposed to know that LG ac's are to be installed by LG customer service themselves, i told them i was not aware of this fact and that i didnt find it in writing anywhere on the manual about this fact. In the mean time without mu consent the complained had been closed by the representative with the explanation that there was a gas leakage in my AC and it had been filled. I got angry at this. Still i launched my 2nd complaint for the same problem again the complaint no is W8C90805502 ON 8TH SEPTEMBER, this time i had a visitor and he went off in the same way as the previous one. Only this time the LG service centre in Vapi wanted me to fight it over with the dealer asking him to get it repaired, the dealer sent the person who installed the AC along with me, he checked it in front of my eyes and showed me where the leakage, it was in the internal unit, which in no way was connected with the installation. By the time i conveyed this message to LG service centre, they had closed my complaint in the same way as before. There was no other way for me than to launch my third complaint the no is W8C92101131 ON SEPTEMBER 21ST, still i had no response for two days. The customer service centre, when called had not responded me properly, he spoke to me as if it was my mistake that i didnt call them for the installation(which had been proved as not relevant) after that i spoke with the branch office in surat to one Mr.Rajan Joshi, only then that too on the next day people appeared at my home they came collected my internal unit and came back after three days. The worst of it came now, after they fit the internal unit my compressor started tripping, when i asked the reason for it, he said there was a fault in my electrical circuit. The rep told me that there is 354 volt current coming inside my home, i wondered how only my AC gets affected, while other electronics like TV, washing machine, geyser, ironbox worked just fine this despite the fact that i had installed an stabilizer for AC. Now they took the compressor, repaired it and brought it back after 4 days, this time only to find that my compressor produced heavy noise, unbearable giving vibration to the entire wall on which it is fixed. Now iam still awaiting a rep to get it done.
1) LG's first claim that the AC has to be installed by themselves, i dont know how far it is valid. Also i dont know how they expect me to call them for installation without any instructions. If they are so specific about installing themseles, why do they allow the dealers to do the installation. I thinkit is the dealer with whom they should take up this matter with.
2) I dont know how the LG rep faked a claim that there was a problem with the installation, without even checking it.
3) MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW DOES LG ALLOWS THE COMPLAINT TO BE CLOSED WITH GETTING THE CONSENT OF THE CUSTOMER. THERE IS NO POINT FOR THE CUSTOMER TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT WITH LG.
4) all this happened within the first three months of me purchasing the AC(two and half months the ac was not working)
Iam afraid that LG has given me a defective product. So i request all of you to be careful while buying an AC product in the future. I was deceived while buying LG product as it provides good support to its customers. Never again in my life will i buy an LG product.

i have already registerd complaint on 17 th of oct 2008 .for 20th oct every day i called to costomer care
but they are saying that, you we well get call form my area engineer, but till today i havent get any call from ur side .my requist no is W8CA1705690 .my cell no is 91-[protected]

Thanks for your suggestion, even i was planning to buy LG aplit AC in couple of days, jus came across ur redressal while searching for good LG model split AC -and price. Now i will try to look over for another Brand.

LG split AC (2 TON) — bad customer services

I am a very regular customer of LG products, i have purchased a "split AC" ( 2 ton) about an year ago,
the product has given a really bad performance as a result i have to register a complaint every now and then.
I am so bugged up with the customer care that i have to register the complaint online,
THE CUSTOMER CARE SERVICES SUCKS!!... they dont even care to reply intellectually and infact THEY LAUGH ON OUR PROBLEM.
which will harm the company's reputation.. I would precisely want to name some people to whom i approached on regular basis still did not got any prior reply from them "MR. IRFAN (Madhya Pradesh)"
NO RESPONSE FROM HIS SIDE NEITHER HE HAS ANY ETIQUETTE OF TALKING TO CUSTOMER.
these are the height of my patience and I am not just the one..there are many other people who are suffering from this "BLOODY PROBLEM"
I am really sorry for using bad/ rude words but i have to do it..i have a very humble request to the person (whosoever is responsible for this) to take strict action against the defaulters and take severe action.
