My father purchased one LG 3D LED 32LM6410 Tv of approximately 56,000/- on 20 december 2012 from lulu mall,qatar. He reached cochi on 25-th dec '12. We anxiously broke the sealed packing of our first 3d LG TV, to the surprise of all o[censored]s there was some cracks on top nd right side of the LED panel of the TV. Please notice that we opened it for the first time. Because of the facts that it was our first 3d tv nd worth approximatly 56,000/- we handled it with care .. Above all this,i dont think tv will broke with a light pressure or something.The way TV was damaged, it is likely that it had been broken at LG’s Godown(.i think) - Please note that the box in which TV was packed was absolutely fresh with not scratches or cut marks on it. Infact the TV was properly packed in the thermo coal packing and even there were no scratches on that thermo coal packing. my father complianed about this in lulu hypermarket,qatar. They gave him an international waranty card nd advised to contact the nearest lulu mall to our residence,which is lulu mall,edapally,cochin. When i contacted them they gave me the toll free customer care number nd ask me to register the complaint. I register the complaint as they said,then they gave me a complaint number RNA[protected] .
On 1st july 2013 one technician came to my house nd checked the tv....he also take a look at the box of tv.....there were no scratches on the box....he said that they cannot replace the led panel until they got approval.....so i email a complaint to lg servise india.......they replied me like this...
"We acknowledge your concern and we have forward
this to our Branch office to take an immediate step
in this regard.''
but after this there wasn't any reply from LG....we select brand lg because we think it would be better.....but now iam very dissatisfied of how they treat a customer....
That is why i raised this complaint in this consumer complaint forum....
