[Resolved]  LG Refrigerator — Pathetic service and irresponsible attitude from LG staff

W8CA1502037 is the complaint i had raised on 15th Oct 08.My refrigerator freezer was overcooling leading to ice formation and the refrigerator unit below stopped cooling.Technician(Amol) was sent after a day and he said that defrost sensor needs to be changed and it is not avaialble.Therefore i was told to wait for a week for the part to arrive.After attending again, the problem was not solved.Inspite of the problem existing the Pune service centre closed this complaint and when spoken with Mr.Ram he himself raised a new complaint (W8CB0604351).So another technician(Naem) was sent saying he is a better skilled person by Mr.Ram.He too asked me to switch off the refrigerator 24 hrs before and did necessary investigation are arrived to the conclusion that the heating coil/plate need to be changed.As the part again was not available he told me that it will take 5 days for it to arrive from Noida and then he will change it.I had mentioned to him to order the part immediately as the problem will occur after 0ne/two weeks when ice formation starts in the freezer again.Inspite of requesting him to order the part I am told now that the part was not ordered.All my stuff in the refrigerator has got spoiled for the 4th time due to the irresposibility/inefficiency of LG technisions. I'm tired of repeatedly calling Mr.Ram and reminding him to send someone to resolve the problem immediately.Then another tchnician Mr Irfan came and told that heating coil is fine but thermostat is faulty and needed to wait another week as parts are never available with LG service centre.I have already spoken to Mr.Garje(Mr.Ram's boss) and he too assured to look into it. I have replied to the message sent by service centre that I am dissatisfied with the service.They called to understand why but still no action.Technicians call and ask me to stay at home but don't not turn up or make false promises.I am tired of repeatedly calling the LG office and hearing only assurances and excuses that part has not arrived from Noida.Twice they have got wrong model heating coil wasting 3 weeks in transit. End result is that my problem is still not resolved. I need the LG MANAGEMENT TO SERIOUSLY LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE and assign someone responsible to solve the problem immediately. Mr.Richard who heads is Mr.Graje boss too has only assured that he will look into it.But GOD know when will the staff really intends to resolve this problems and stop looking at it.Just passing this issue from one person to another is not the right way of running such an esteemed company. I expect that this problem will be resolved immediatley without any more excuses and this problem reaches the right person in the management and does not get lost in the Call centre.

I also want the LG management to compensate for all the losses I have faced in last 3 months as all my stuff has been spoiled in the fride again and again.

i have purchased a 290 L LG refrigerator a few days back from Home bazaar at Aurangabad, Maharashtra.so far no one has come to install it or give a demo re its use.will some one come?

refrigerator,LG — irresponsible attitude

Hi myself anita from delhi.
I bought an lg refrigerator three years ago. Some of its parts damaged. It wasn’t a big issue but when I lodged a complaint regarding changing the damaged accessories of my refrigerator, it seems to me the toughest task one can do. The service executives even don’t come to check the needed accessories and bring parts according to their own assumptions. They also told me to pay a sum of two hundred and fifty rupees as service charge while the customer care executive told me to pay only fifty rupees. When I told about it to them then they agree to charge me only fifty rupees and promise to bring the left accessories in two or three days. But over sixteen days have been left they don’t come and even not attending the call.one of the executive replies that they will change the required items when they will get them. there is no time limit for the task. Every time when I called to customer care they left me with a new complaint id.
Is this kind of generous service provided by LG.? The customer will feared at the next time if he or she thinks of purchasing accessories from lg due to this hectic and boring service of the executives.
