[Resolved]  LG / Split A/C — Poor Response of Complaints

I purchased an Air Conditioner (SPILT OF 1.5 Ton capacity) of LG brand from Bhatia brothers for Rs. 22065/= on 05/06/2008 on cash basis with assurance that the said A C is of best quality and will satisfy all around. The said A. C. get installed by the Dealer through his technician on 06/06/2008. The said A C hardly work properly for 15 days, thereafter it was observed that there is cooling problem in A C, then I rush to local dealer to get the A.C. checked in the month of July 2008. The said dealer Bhatia Brothers lodge complaints with L G service Centre. Your Company’s employees checked the AC and rectify the fault partially. Thereafter my client lodge complaints with your Service Centre so many times upto September 2008. I was informed by your staff those who visited my house to rectify the defect in AC that there is problem in Stabilizer fitted with A C, in case it was replaced the cooling problem will be sort out. It means that you /your representative have accepted that there was a cooling problem in the said A. C.
Then again in April 2009 when my client made a complaint with your service Centre, your staff repeated the same thing to get replaced stabilizer to get proper cooling. I act act upon the suggestion and the stabilizer was replaced in April 2009.

Then I felt that the problem still stands as it is, I again lodged a complaint with your service Centre. Your employees visited my house on 06/05/2009 to check the problem, but it is a matter of regret that your employees could not rectify the fault which seems to be a manufacturing defect and your employees are under pressure not to disclose the said defect, being a bonafide servant . Your staff has accepted the problem at the times when they suggested to get the stabilizer replaced, that there was cooling problem. That your employees have failed to rectify the defect, and would not be out of place to mention here that the defect is irreparable and the said A.C. requires replacement .

I have already suffered a lot due to this defective piece was delivered to me and I am under stress and feeling harassed. That I have made all out efforts to get the A. C. in proper working condition, but you have failed to rectify the defect.

You are requested to take appropriate action to get the defected A/C replaced or I would left with no option other than knock the door of Court of Law to get the A.C. replaced, as you have sold a defective Air Conditioner to me, which was not as per norms projected by you. Such type of projection tantamount to fraud / Cheating punishable under I. P. C.
