LICHFL, Thanjavur — Bad Service for existing customer | |
Hi, I am existing customer of LICHFL. I am paying my housng loan EMI regularly from more than one year. During application process I have given them my current address for any further communication and they have promised that any change in interest rate will be communicated to me by postal mail but till now I have never received any communication from them about change in interest rate. To enquire about the current interest rate I called the branch office (Indra Nagar, Bangalore) several times but no one responds. I have even gone to the branch office to check for correctness of my correspondance address and verified that it is correct (I have done this work more than 5 months before) but have never received and communication on interest rate change. In this course of time LICFHL has increased/decreased interest rate 4 to 5 times. It is known fact that LICFHL does not disclose the current interest rate on its official website so it is very difficult for existing customer to know the applicable interest rate. In this regard I have sent email to the regional office as well as to branch office but I have never heard back from them. I also took loan from LIC HFL Hyderabad and ten service is really really very poor.
I'll give you a small example, this happened to me today only:
I am trying to reach LIC's ameerpeth office numbers since 2.30pm afternoon today (4 Jan 2010), I was finally able to get through the line at 6.45pm. I speak to person, tell my loan a/c number and ask that person if he can tell me why my prepayment cheque (given to 'LICHFL 10 days back) is not reflected in my a/c.
While I am asking all this in english, the person responds to me in Telugu (local language) saying that 'i[censored] can give me ur mobile number, i will call u back in a moment'. I gave my mobile number and no one has called me so far, it is close of business today (7.45pm).
to me i felt that the staff was having a party or something link that, as i could here some people laughing and sounds of music coming to me from background..
Wow, good start of the service from LIC HFL for 2010.
I have several LIC insurance policies too, but now I go for private players.. assuming that LIC Insurance may be same as LIC HFL.
