Delay in supply of Gas Cylinder

I am an indane gas consumer with Lord balaji gas agency,EGMORE, CHENNAI.
Booking for gas supply was done on 03.05.2010. Till date no supply has been made. My neighbour who had booked upto 12.05.2010 have been supplied with cylinder today i.e. 20.05.2010. Repeated reminders to the staff of the agency have evoked no response. Frustration and mental agony is what remains because of the callous attitude of the staff. IOC should intervene and investigate into the issue and take penal action against the agency, their numbers are either always ringing or engaged. secondly, they do not deliver the gas even after taking the booking. on repeat calls and requests they keep on saying 2 or 3 days more. it is unnecessary harassment for working people with kids, not to mention the additional cost. any number of complaints to them does not help. please help.

And its a request to take necessary action against the gas agency and fire all their staff, i request to cancel their licence and give it to needy people who can serve consumer better..

egmore — disturbance in phone

my phone no[protected] since from one week my phone has some disturbance while receiving and dailing
I am an indane gas consumer with Lord balaji gas agency, EGMORE, CHENNAI.
Booking for gas supply was done on 24.06.2010. Till date no supply has been made. My neighbour who had booked upto 01.07.2010 have been supplied with cylinder today i.e. 07.07.2010. Repeated reminders to the staff of the agency have evoked no response. As Specialy The name is Arul Dass it is too bad Frustration and mental agony is what remains because of the callous attitude of the staff. IOC should intervene and investigate into the issue and take penal action against the agency, their numbers are either always ringing or engaged. secondly, they do not deliver the gas even after taking the booking. on repeat calls and requests they keep on saying 2 or 3 days more. it is unnecessary harassment for working people with kids, not to mention the additional cost. any number of complaints to them does not help. please help.
Lord balaji gas agency, EGMORE, CHENNAI LPG distriduter is not at all bothered about rules and regulations of the Civil socity or any basic ethics in their distributership business.I also strongly condemn the IOC authorities with out their support and protection Lord balaji gas agency, EGMORE, CHENNAI LPG distriduter could not have such attidude, not suppling even after exhaust of two cylinders. With two cylinder connection No.16316 left in to lurch for thepast four days with out cylinder.I also lodged complaint with IOCComplaint No.65922 today. Only Lord balaji can sve us not Lord balaji gas agency, EGMORE, CHENNAI LPG distriduter or IOC.
Lord Balaji Gas Agency, Egmore LPG Distributor has worst LPG delivery service and is responsible for creating panic of Essential services. My Consumer registration No is 15285 and booked a cylinder on 20th June 2010, but till date there is no supply. On repeatedly calling either Phone is engaged or ringing and even if by chance attended, they would say today or tomorrow supply load will come and u will be the first to receive but never happens. I have strong belief that my LPG cylinder must have been sold in market at exorbitant price. They do not have any fear of Complaining to IOCL authorities and even IOCL are not suspending their License in spite of several complaints by the consumer. WAKE UP NOW
I've also faced the same issue and logged a complaint today with IOC Customer Care[protected] copy mails to Area Managers & State Managers.

Moreover, the attitude of the Staff at Lord Balaji Gas Agency is very pathetic. They don't even borther to see the customers' face. There are about 5 girls and 1 man sitting around a table and gossipping. They have taken my request thru phone more than 3 times (can get prove that if i pull my outgoing call details from BSNL). Later I visited the place twice for registering my issue but nothin worked out.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THERE PROBLEM IN ISSUING A TOKEN NUMBER FOR REQUESTS RECEIVED. ACTUALLY THEY DON'T FOLLOW THIS SYSTEM SO THAT THEY CAN CREATE FRAUD EASILY. IF THE ISSUE TOKENS ALL THING WILL START GETTING REGISTERING.

More than the staff, I would blame the agency owner. Without is/her freedom the staff cannot behave Like this.

I THINK IOC SHOULD TAKE SOME STRONG PENAL ACTIONS AND SORT OUT THIS ISSUE.
Even i agree to all the above statements. My request for taken nearly 45 days back. There is no supply yet. Its clear that they are selling those in black. My consumer no is 11844..

Lord Balaji Gas Agency — gas not received for one month

I am Sudha. The people in the Gas Station they won not pick phone calls at all after one day continuous try they pick up the line & My father have booked gas on 16.09.10 they have provide us the booking no.4046. till 15.10.10 we did not receive the gas. In between we have lunched a complaint in Indian oil Toll Free no. they have investigate revert us saying that M/s.Lord Balaji Gas Agency have delivered Gas to us on 25.09.10 but actually we have received the Gas on 15.10.10 with bill which didn't have inv.no, date, amount etc.,(scanned copy of the same I am enclosing) the same have been informed to the customer care Executive till date I did not get any feedback. I am very much apset about this matter. In future also they won't attend the phone for booking & deliver the Gas on time. So I have requested that person to change our customer no to agency near our living place but she did not co-operate for that also. I don't know what to do. Pls help me in this matter. My parents are very old people & I am having office from 8.45 am to 6.30 pm. How can we go to agency to pick up Gas every month. Awaiting for your positive response.

Even i agree.. but when will the actions be taken sir.. Since the initial complaint in this website is on 20th of May 2010..
No procedure of delivering gas cylinders correctly.I doubt they are selling cylinders outside. They are very negligible on customer complaints. please take neccessary action against this. my number is 16170.

very worst service. Gas supply is pathetic. they say gas has been delivered to the address but we shd have never received the cylinder at all. poor response to queries and calls too.
Now they have shifted the premises, can someone give their new address as they don't pick the phone
from last 2 month iam trying their phone numbers but they never pick the phone very very worst service requesting ioc people to cancel the licence and take immediate action my name is amit a/c no 9498.iam going to file case against gas agency if i not received gas in 2 days.
yes i too have such problem on non delivery of cyliders even though registration was done much in advance through cell phone as was needed for booking. initially reply is order booked and on due date phone gives message that order cancelled. but on again booking the reply is 'order booked'. but i am not able to get IOC customer service tele. no. i am in chennai. I learnt from delivery boy (his name not to be mentioned) that as per companies record the cylider had been delivered to the consumer but in fact delivered to road side eateries/some hut resedents/who can pay atleast Rs. 200 to Rs 300 more.when you walk on roads you can find lots of mobile eateries cover cylinders kept under their vehicles. but on seeing such cyliders the ioc inspectors seems to hide their eyes in eating dosas, idlys etc free. let god save
