LPG Gas Cylinder — Poor service

Dear Sir
I am a resident of Koperkhairane, Navi Mumbai. We are completly at the mercy of distributor ( Vighnahar gas agency) for gas delivery at our home. First of all we never get the telephone lines[protected] /[protected]. They are always busy you can crosscheck. After trying continously for 2-3 hours we get connected once, and further they are in such a hurry to keep the phone, most of the times they dont even verify the registration number again and end up noting wrong number .Now recent case is, my mother had registered for gas cylinder on 31 dec, normally we get in 2-3 days after that. We waited accordingly but seeing no delivery, we called up on 3 jan and were surprised that the number was not registered. Then once again registration was done but till yesterday 10 jan we had not received the cylinder. So this time i made a point to visit personally, and suprisingly they aked me to register once again, without showing any concern to know the previous history. This time it was assured that i will get the cylinder on 11 Jan, but nobody turned out. To my surprise i found out there were many people, who had same compalint. I would request the concerned person to look into it, or atleast increase the distributors, so that we are not heldup like this.

That is really true. I am also living in Koperkhairane and I have BP gas connection (Vighnahar gas agency). As you said correctly it is really difficult to get them through phone for booking of gas cylinder. Most of the time their number is engagaed and they are always busy. Even they dont not down the numbers properly.

Bharat Petroleum has to do something urgently.

i agree with them. i wish someone would really take this up seriously and do something very very fast...regards shobhan...consumer no. 9059..( in case you need.)
i agree with this complaint against Vighnahar Gas Service, Koparkhairane, NaviMumbai. They never pickup their phones and always forgets about the booking. I tried to make online booking as well from bharat gas site but its of no use. As there is no mechanism of getting the booking request online in this agency. In my case since i am working, i always made a point to tell them that pls. send the cylinder on sunday, but they hardly listen to it and never even tell the exact date when can i get the delivery so that i could make some alternate arrangements to get the new cylinder. So in my case things get all the more worse.

Pls. do something on this. My consure number is 8953.

I stay in Chennai, Eldams Road, My gas agency name is navaneetha lakshmi gas Agency in teynampet chennai. few months back when I opened the new cylinder some sound came from cylinder and i made complaint . the mecachnic said due to washer problem and he changed the cylinder. From then onwards I used to tell the delivery boy to check the cylinder when he comes. This month, (Feb.2011) when he came with the new cylinder I asked him to check but he said he had already checked and kept. today when i opened the cyliner(ther is no seal) in cylinder , and sound came from the cylinder. and I am able to lift the cylinder easily. My no. is 47063. I doubt the cylinder has been already used somewhere else
