[Resolved]  M T N L — Very Poor Service

Dear Sir,
I am using Tri - band for last two months. My mtnl no. is 26787110, my plan of mtnl is Tri - band unlimited of 1599/-.. My net speed is too slow... I complained so many times but no one came to check it. They told me that u get the download speed 1mbps to 1.3 mbps of surfing and downloading, But the speed is coming too slow. My surfing speed is 250 kbps and downloading speed is 50 kbps. So this is our last complain to you and the same copy we are sending to media group so that I can show to the public that what is your service you serve to public When I complained to 1504, they are registering complain for problem in line/cable, but no lineman comes to correct anything, when I call them, they just say your phone is ok so your Internet Line is also ok.
I have become harassed by complaining to 1504 & gave a written complain on[protected] to MTNL Officials Jogeshwari (west) that all went in vain.
So then an week before I switched to another company which provides internet connection & I am totally satisfied & happy with the services in a week the employees have came twice just to check whether the line is ok or not & I am so impressed with the way of the service that I had removed the mtnl connection from my router & had started giving advise to my friends to switch to other internet services rather than mtnl
Because the way I was harassed they shouldn’t.

My Tel no is 26787110, my bill no is: [protected] and my consumer no is: [protected]. I have received an excess amount in my bill for the period of february-2010. I had applied for an unlimited 1599/- 1.3 mbps triband plan. On the installation date the person said that I would get the speed I asked for. But after one week of installation I faced a lot of latency in the download. When asked the MTNL personals, they asked me to check the speed of the triband on their web site which showed 512 kbps and when I checked it on 5 other independent sites they showed not more that 512kbps.I had raised complaint for this which I don’t have any clue what has happened. When we try to call them and when we call up the helpline the person at the other end says this issue has to be raised at some other number and they go on redirecting at least for 1 hour and still we don’t get any solution. One day when I asked the person that I had opted for unlimited 1599/- 1.3 mbps triband, he said that the plan is discontinued and at the rate of that plan we are providing 1.3mbps which they haven’t intimidated us nor are we getting more than 512kbps.

According to 512kbps plan which they had provided me instead of 1.3mbps the amount they had charged me is Rs1279.20/- which is incorrect because the amount for 512kbps is Rs599/- as shown on your tariff plans

“I had asked for “GOLD” & you gave me “SILVER” & you are charging me for “GOLD” which is incorrect.”

It’s a humble request that you help me in getting my exact payable amount for 512kbps plan which I have been provided by you. It’s a request to you to provide me a fresh triband bill including telephone bill which I am happy to pay the sum amount within 24 hrs.
