Make My Trip.com — Nonpayment of money to the hotel

I booked a hotel accomodation in Kerala, KTDC Waterscapes through Make My Trip.com. My booking ID was HTL65869. Rs 3614 was charged to my credit card account. I cancelled my booking and a mail (dated Sept 21, 2007)was sent to me that Rs 3364 (after deduction of rs 250) will be credited to my account. The same has not yet been credited to my credit card account till date.
I made another booking to the same hotel; booking ID HTL 65874 for which Rs 4710 was chrged to my credit card account. Waterscapes call me after 2 months to infom me that the same has not been paid to them by make My Trip.com till date.
This to my mind is a clear case of fraud and cheating by Make My Trip both towards the consumer (in not refunding the cancellation money) and the hotel to which they have not paid.

I did not get the so called paper ticket on time from them and was told to carry the print of the e-mail

At the airport my name was in the list of passengers but Indian Airlines asked for some coupens which was not aware nor was the customer care people of make my trip had any idea of this

Now since the flight was about to takeoff the customer care representative asked me to buy that ticket from the Indian Airlines again and promised to give a refund of the same, as I had already paid Rs4783 to make my trip before. So i paid Rs 6133 again

Now when i am asking for refund they are not responding

For some paper ticket related issue i canceled my ticket, and as per discussion with makemytrip customer care, i send all documents.
After that i got a sms and call from you, i will get refund of Rs 3809 and this amount , i will get with in 10 working days
But till now i am not getting my refund money.
after that i have send 4 email to [protected]@makemytrip.com.
whenever i send email, within 24 hours i get a call for customer care and tell " i will get back to you within 48 hours"

For last 2 years i am using this site for flight booking. and i was satisfy with makemytrip service. But this is very bad experience with makemytrip.

MakeMyTrip — Bad service & non payment of refund

I booked a hotel in Ooty (Sapphire Grand) for 3 nights through makemytrip. They took the entire payment through credit card in advance. However, when I called up the hotel for confirmation, the hotel denied of any such booking.

After frequent follow up with makemytrip, they acknowledged their mistake and I decided to cancel the booking. In all this almost 10 days were wasted.

Subsequently, I was promised that the payment of refund will be done soon. However, its been more than 12 days and I have still not received my money back.

All the officials at makemytrip as very apologetic, however, no one is able to confirm when the money will be paid back.

The whole experience has been disgusting and I would never recommend makemytrip to anyone.

Since then the issue has been resolved and I have got the money back. Overall, it took almost a month to get the money back

i am SHILPA KHANDELWAL i had booked ticket by Make My Trip from Bangalore to Indore via Mumbai (for date 12th august 2011). The flight to Mumbai was delay because of which i can't take my flight to Indore.

I had talk to kingfisher regarding this before and i have been told that i will get full refund for this . But Make My Trip is telling that kingfisher has only refund me Rs.936/-

And when i had taik to kingfisher travel agent help desk and they told me that i had been refunded Rs.2655/- .

Now make my trip is asking me for an endorsement copy (with seal and singed) for my refund. Without it they are not providing me my refund.

So please provide me a endorsement copy and mail it to me so that i can provide it to them and can claim my refund.

I had booked my tickets from Delhi - Hyderabad on the 7th of NOVEMBER with the HELP of online booking site MAKE MY TRIP.

I had booked one ticket but they have deducted twice.

I have from 2 months reminding thought mails every week.

And even after they taking all the possible information about the Booking they have not refunded my amount.

This is my complain id its been more than 1 and a half months of my amount deduction from my account to make my trip first of all they said it will come with in 7 day but still now nothing is done from their end they are just wasting my time just saying its in process and so on. i am tried of calling them again and again but no good response is coming from their end.

So, please look into this matter i will be very thankful to you.

W.r.t Booking ID NF[protected]. I cancelled same booking on “11 Feb '13, 14:16 hrs” with Ref No IN1302R0037727. So as ticket has been celled, I should get full refund Rs 5229. Because this is Non-Operational flight(Kingfisher). But till now I have not received any refund amount as it is already 5 month over. I got a call from Kingfisher that I should request my full refund from your vendor. As a customer I fill its bad service from makemytrip. And if you treat to customer like this(means no update regarding my money) then I will not use your service next time onwards. Please let me know my refund status ASAP

Overcharged and promised to refund ,still didn't

They sent me an email in March that they will refund me my money as they overcharged me but now this is July and I haven't received the refund yet .
