Me and daughter, booked a SuperTownHouse in Jaipur through MMT. It was a special discount scheme advertised by MAKEMYTRIP. Unfortunately, I was overbooked. The alternate property (Brahmaputra Palace, Jaipur) I was sent a link to the location, which was sadly and surprisingly far from SuperTownhouse, my initial booking. That was the first mistake MMT made by giving me a location very far away from my original booking. Do they not check the location when providing alternative arrangements?
And when I reached Brahmaputra Palace at 11 pm at midnight, I realized it was in an old area, and the building was dilapidated. The room had paint peeling off and broken furniture. Maybe it was an old lodge. How can MMT even advertise or recommend such places to their female clients without verifying the authenticity of Barhamaputra? I called Cust care again (twice), and the agents kept asking me for pictures!!! So insensitive, careless, and very unprofessional of MMT. I completely trusted MMT reviews and landed in Jaipur in the middle of the night. My daughter and I were shocked by the state of the place MMT provided as an alternative.
I had taken an airport taxi to reach the Brahmaputra Palace, and the kind taxi driver told me he would help me out. He made a few calls and I got a last-minute room at Hotel Bellavista.
So you see my issue with MMT. I lost my payment on SuperTownhouse, and I had to pay 8200/- Rs extra at my new location, and also since the location was so far away from my initial booking, I had to incur extra taxi charges of more than Rs, 6000/- for my commute to Manipal University Jaipur. My initial booking, Super Townhouse, was near this university. That is a loss of more than 16000 INR due to MMT's carelessness and insensitive customer care.
And the delay in resolving this issue!!! Unbelievable delay. Such a successful platform like MMT is making such pathetic delays in customer feedback, especially after such a traumatic experience for two women customers. an di am being rfused refund due to hotel policies, and thats what MMt is claiming.
