With a great disappointment, this was one of my first travel booking through MAKEMYTRIP.COM, I had to experience my most horrible and hasslesome journey where i had been harressed by the airline staff at the airport purely due to lapse of information which was ideally suppose to have been passed on to the airline by MAKEMYTRIP.COM operations, but had not been done, which shocked me. I had rightfully paid to MAKEMYTRIP.COM am amount of AED 138 ( INR 2000 ) towards an infants booking which is clearly stated on my acknlodgment sent by the operations, however, this booking information had not been passed on to the airline and did not reflect on their systems because of which i had been harressed by the airline staff at the airport checkin for almost more than an hour, where they refused to board me unless i make them a payment against an infant once more and take up the process of refunding the amount paid up to MAKEMYTRIP.COM website for the earliar booking. It caused trouble to my family travelling with me and I had to go through a lot of harrassment. I had immediately taken up this matter with the complaint team and after a great deal of follow up my complaint was first acknowledged only after a month after i wrote them first on[protected]. To my despair after they investigated and realised that it was due to a fault at their end, the only soultion they could give me is to take up a discount voucher of only RS 500 against my compensation of AED 650 ( INR 10000 ) and this was revised to INR 1000 later as atake it or leave it option. Can you beleive this ? They expect me to accept a discount voucher from a company which messed up and i have no intention of do any business with. Was this information helpful? | |
