[Resolved]  Maruti omni — Manufacturing Defect

This is to bring to your kind attention that I had been calling your company with the problems with my new Omini and I have sent emails to Mr. Sachin Hada and Mr. I V Rao and as per instructions from your area manager at Ranchi, Jharkhand. Concerning the above faults I am now writing this letter directly to you to kindly find a solution to the below stated problem:

I had purchased the Omini on 4/3/08 from M/S Hindustan Auto Agency, Bokaro Steel City, bearing Chassis No: 1015659, Engine No: 3933560. After a week I reported to the dealer at Bokaro Steel City that I was facing the following problem in the new Omini.

1. As there is no air ventilation or ducts provided in this model, thus no fresh air from outside is coming inside the vehicle. This is why it becomes extremely hot and impossible to drive the vehicle. The earlier models were provided with air ventilation system.
2. During the monsoon when all the windows are closed, the heat inside generated by the engine below the driver’s seat makes the windows and the windshield glass frosty and reduces visibility outside the vehicle to zero. I am expecting to face similar problem during the coming winter season.

For the last six months I have been repeatedly following up with your company regarding the complaints but it seems that my problem has not been looked into and neither had I got convincing solution. This is the third time I am sending written reminder to your office.
Kindly note that in spite of sending several reminders and following up regularly with your representatives Mr. Hada and Mr. Rao, I am yet to see a satisfactory action from your end.

Please note that this is my third and last written reminder which I am sending, I would request you to kindly get a proper solution to my problem, failing which I will have no other option but to go to “The Consumer Court”

I hope since I had now written to you regarding the problems which I am facing some solution can be worked out at the earliest.

Maruti omni — excise refund policy

I have purchased a Maruty ominy five seats(lpg)car from Kavisha Motors PVT LTD. Bareilly in November 2007. vehcle is being used as a taxi pass commercial vehcle for last one year.

Please intimate that either this vehcle is effected under Excise refund policy or otherwise.

We bought maruti omni ( TN 10 y 4084 )in December 2009. They did not give Seat cover yet.they committed to give in january 2010. we did second service also but they didnt give us. So kindly do it as soon as possible.

Sub : Manufacturing defect of a Maruti Omni Ambulance

Sir/Madam,
This is to bring to your kind attention that I have purchased the Maruti Omni Ambulance on 18.01.2014 from Bhandary Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., 53A, Leela Roy Sarani (Formerely Gariahat Road) Kolkata- 700 019. The Omini bears Engine No. F8BIN4683616, Chasis No. MAJEVB11S01494533 and Car No. WB-19G- 0647. Within three months from the date of purchasing the rust had been noticed on the front floor, rare floor and all the functional points. We reported the matter to our dealer. They sent the Ambulance to the service centre at Budge Budge Trunk Road, Gopalpur, Maheshtala, Kolkata – 700 143. They painted the located spots only but this is in vain. We repeatedly requested the General Manager and the Works Manager of Maruti, Kolkata Service Care. But no satisfactory action had been initiated from their end. I demand that the parts set in my Maruti Omni Ambulance are not genuine.
Please treat this as a serious complained and replace this Omni with a New One as per terms and conditions failing which I have no other alternative but to go to the “Consumer Forum”. I hope that you will do the needful to work out the burning problem at your earliest.
