[Resolved]  Maruti Swift Dzire vxi — delay in delivery & no transparency

I had booked a Maruti Swift Dzire vxi with SAI SERVICE, Mumbai on 04.04.2008 with Rs.50, 000/- as advance. The Sales Perosn had promised me delivery within 4 weeks at the time of deal. On completion of 4 weeks when i called up for the delivery, they were not responding in a proper manner, and told delivery will take longer but get by end May, 2008. Now in June i am infomed that it will take more time and can't say the actual delivery date.

I tried contacting Maruti and there was no proper answer for the same. No escalation matrix was provided by Maruti customer care, where i can take this case forward. I had put a deatiled e-mail to [protected]@maruti.co.in vide Tracking number: HT20080603_[protected], but there is no reponse from the concerned department.

I had sold my Maruti 800 car based on delivery committment given by Sai Service, now i am without a car since 2 months.

Maruti who get Customer Satisfaction Award year after year is not at all bothered by the customer issues & do not want to even address the same. Their delears whom we pay advance are also not bothered to keep us updated about the scenario of delivery delays. VERY PATHETIC WAY OF SELLING FROM MARUTI !!!

Hi

I will suggest you to knock the door of Consumer Forum. This is the only way where you can get justice and you can also claim money from that dealer for late delivery and for mentally disturbance due to this.

Now a days so many people are facing such problems and in different-2 areas. I would strongly suggest you to go to consumer forum because these people will learn lessons when they will be punished.

There is no other solution in this regard.

I got a call from "AAA AID" for the resolution of the problem from [protected] on Thursday and I was told to come to Okhla Phase 2 which is 40 Km away from my home .

Yesterday(Sunday.15 Feb, 11:30am), I went to AAA to get all problem rectified and I informed them following problems.

Problems :- 1.) Creating Lot of Noise from the front side of car(May be a sound of Engine)

2.) While shifting a Back Gear it is creating a screaming sound

3.) I have not received the insurance papers while taking the delivery of car and dealer have sent me the copy of insurance two days back on mail and again scan copy is not clear, Please find the attachment below of insurance paper and clarify whether it is for my car only or not .Please help to get the insurance papers .

4.) Alignment issue as car is moving to one side only and because of this I met with an accident, paint from bumper got removed and got number of scratches (Product quality issue)




After that one engineer and Mr Rajesh(Sevice Head) went for test drive and checked/confirmed all mentioned problems .After that they took the car in service center at 12:20 pm and I was told to sit in a customer room,

They have considered/accepted these problems and placed all my requests and their observations(what needs to be done) in their Job Slip, Please find the attached slip below :-






In the mean time "No Estimate" was given and was told me that it is not a product related issue but yes it is a service related issue. I was informed that service which I received from "Sikand Motors in Janpat" was a problem
because they did not test the Vehicle after doing the service .AAA told me and shown me the Service booklet/owner's manuals was not signed by Sikand after service,

(I am having a original copy)


As he informed me about the service quality of SIkand, May be AAA (GM of AAA) is absolutely right as same problem was also persisting after getting the vehicle serviced from Sikand .
or
May be product is having a problem as I have been facing this since day 1 .But AAA was not accepting me as I have purchased that product from them .
or
May be problem is their in product and in service both.

Please rectify this above issue first...


I have received the message at 3:48 pm from [protected] which informed me that my Vehicle is ready (Dear Jitin Paul your vehicle DL8CL 5232 is ready and your bill ammount is Rs 281/- and I was forced to
pay that charges .



So I came to know following things about Maruti after going to AAA service center and even everbody should know these as well:-

1, Be careful before purchasing the Maruti product because after going to service center you can be charged any ammount, Thank god it was only 281/- only if that would have 1 lakh then I wold have been
again forced to pay that amount .

2. You will be taught number of technical terms may be for 3 hours or so .But nobody will listen your problems and issues and after that they will charge anything without informing .

3. You would be challenged by higher Authorities of Service center and come to know about the Consumer Court.

4. Once you will be inside the service center you will be tortured like a school boy .Nobody will listen you .

5. You will be handeled as an ordinary customer whatever problem is there in your product and whether it is from first day ."It is your luck"


After receiving the message at 3:48 pm that my vehicle is ready but it was not handed over to me but again tortured me for another 1 hour and told me about several fundamentals about vehicle.

I have been told that scratches can only be removed after going to consumer court .Earlier they were removing the scratched by doing "Touch Paint" same was written on one of the job sheet.
When I told them that this will reduce the value of my car and it is not in terms and condition of the Maruti.Then they deleted that thing written comments,

Two invoice were offered to sign, One is before telling me about consumer court and one is after .They took another one hour to make the bill and to decide what should we write in a bill so customer
cannot claim in the court.Fortunately I am having original invoice of all these documents where they didn't provide any estimate .








Problems which have been resolved which I have been faced from day 1 but not resolved by Sikand (acc to AAA)

1. Wheel alignment

2. clutch problem

3. back gear shifting issue

4. pick up issues

4 screaming sound is not there in vehicle



Problem still there

1. Tortured Badly

2. Little bit alignment issue

3 Scratches on bumpers and on body(because of alignment issue it happened from left side and car was going to left only)




FOR AAA I HAVE ONE COMMENT AND SUGGESTION

"WE SHOULD NOT FIGHT WITH EACH OTHER IF WE BELONG TO SAME NATION "

SIMILARLY IF WE ARE PROVING SERVICES OF SAME COMPANY SO WE SHOULD NOT BLAME EACH OTHER(SIKAND AND AAA, BOTH ARE REPRESENTING MARUTI)


I have spent more 5 thousand rupees and 2-3 days because of this issue.Please PLzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz get me out of it as it is really frustrating me or please take this car back from me.
Finally, I still have believe in Maruti so please give me the positive response if there is the issue in product please rectify or replace it .

One small soft query ...Is these any way to get this resolved or this is compulsory to go to consumer court ? (This is question arose in my mind after speaking to service provider)

I own a swift dzire ldi and got it serviced from Sikand, Connaught Place. The car is still in warranty and I have just got the 3rd service done. I am facing the clutch problem from beginning and was told by Sikand on the 3rd service that they will not cover any problem under warranty and will charge me.

I dont know why Maruti is giving false assurance to its customers if the cant fulfill its claims.
There are few other problem which have not been sorted.
I could be forced to go to consumer court.

Maruti Swift Dzire vxi — Rusting of car body

I am an army officer i bought car dezire vxi in month of Feb 2010 , in month of Oct 2010 the paint started eroding from the sides of the door and body frame .I am presently posted in Pune my car chassis No is MA3ESKD1SOO235942 and purchased from Nanda Automobiles pvt ltd Ahemdabad.Please suggest me what to do.
