I own a Maruti Wagon R VXi model car, regn no is OR 05AC 2477. I had given the said car for 20000km paid service to Maruti dealer SKY Automobile, Cuttack on 23rd Nov 09.
The said car while in workshop met with an accident when the mechanic was attending the car. The workshop called me and informed me about the accident.
I had advised to release the car and deliver it to my residence so that I can see the car after the damage being done at the workshop on 23rd Nov 09.
The worshop driver again picked up the car from my residence and took the car to their main workshop for necessary repair of the damage they made in the front bumper and right side fender on 25th Nov 09.
Car was delivered to me 1 day after the committed date of delivery ie., on 27th Nov 09 with a touch up job done. The bumper not properly set and the fender having the dent, the scratch was even visible.
I visited the wokshop and met the BM Mr Ojha. I appraised him with the development. Mr Ojha ensured me that the FENDER and the Front Bumper will be replaced and that the car will be picked up on 2nd Dec 09 and will delivered after repair on 4th Evening 09.
The car was supposed to be picked up from my residence on 2nd Dec 09. Car was picked up from residence after reminder calls being given by me.
The worshop driver picked up my car from my residence without any receipt. Even I didnt get any phone call after receiving the car at the garage.
On 2nd Dec evening when I called the workshop, the workshop confirmed me that the car has reached.
Today is 4th Dec 09 and the car is not delivered nor I am appraised with any development on my car. It is now about more than 10 days that my car is with the Workshop from the time it was picked up for service for the 1st time on 23rd Nov 09.
Is this the type of service I am expecting from Maruti ?
Is this the commitment level of the BM of a reputed Maruti dealer ?
Is it my mistake that I have been patronizing Mariti for the last 9 years ?
Did I purchase my car for keeping with the Workshop for repair ?
Was it my fault for which I am penalised ?
Expecting a reply on my questions soon.
