[Resolved]  MGF Hyundai — grievance

Respected Sir/Madam I, Anjuli Chaudhary, am owner of Hyundai I-10 Car No. DL 8CL 8724. I had given my car for accidental claim under insurance cover and servicing to your unit MGF Hyundai B-10 Ind Area, G.T. Karnal Road, Delhi-110033 vide job order demand slip (S. No. 26117) on[protected]. The car was picked by the pick-up man from my residence F-1-U/21 Pitam Pura, Delhi – 110088. After having driven the Car from my residence to the service shop and getting things fixed under insurance Cover for accidental damage and on my repeated persistent reminders to Mrs. Monika Sethi (Mob. [protected]) I got a call/sms on Sunday, 06/10/2013 from Vineet Khokhar (Mob. [protected]) that service approval is needed. I gave the service approval after the he told me that routine servicing and cleaning and oil change/coolant changes shall cost me around Rs. – 9000/- and I was told that the Car would be ready by Sunday Evening or Monday Morning after the Scheduled opening time of service outlet. To my horror and anguish, I got a message from Mr Vineet Khokhar on Monday i.e. 07/10/2013 that some valve-sensor in the Car has been found damaged and it shall cost me Rs. - 11000/- extra. I suspected something fishy because I was never told about this the previous day and it was a costly thing. So, I contacted Mrs. Monika Sethi and she inadvertently blurted out and admitted that the valve got damaged while the cleaning process was in progress under Mr. Vineet Khokhar. So, I very politely asked her to get things sorted out amongst themselves because it was immoral and blasphemous of them to claim the amount from the party for this kind of surreptitious and self created damage created by their mistake. Later on, I had a long telephonic talk with their GM Sh. Rajesh Mehta (Mob. [protected]), Though he listened to my grievance, he tried to reverse the sequence of events and told probably the valve was not functional from the beginning. His arguments were very flimsy and unconvincing. He refused to budge and tried to hoodwink. So, per force I had to file my complaint with your kind authority. I am working as Senior Manager in NTPC. The MGF Hyundai, Ind. Area GT Karnal Road people are trying to coerce and intimidate me. My Cars has been languishing in their station for 20 days and not they are harassing me to pay for a valve without which the Car would stop. I wonder if the valve was not functional from the beginning, how did they not come to know about it at the very outset or on Sunday 06/10/2013, the day the approval was sought. Please solve this riddle and rid me of the agony and anguish as I am under lot of mental duress. I exhort yourself to take necessary remedial / reprimanding steps.
