[Resolved]  Microtek Inverters — Poor service and Rude Behavior of Customer care and Company Personnel

I purchased one Microtek Sinewave UPS of 850. But with deep regret and frustration I am stating that I have received unexpected and poor behavior and service from the company. I purchased the product on 16.07.2010. However after continuous battery charging the inverter has been incapable of taking load of even a single CFL bulb and after showing red sign it is giving into auto cut. I accordingly informed the Service Centre of my city, Guwahati. The person who entertained my call said that he would send me a someone to check the problem after my repeated request although he was quite impolite. Whole day I took off from my office and waited for his engineer to come but he never showed up. Then later in the day I called up Delhi Service office of Microtek and came to know that the company entertains the complain the next day. But this fact, the esteemed Guwahati service centre guy did not bother to mention and because of that I lost my one working day. Today also I have been waiting for the elusive engineer's arrival and unfortunately he has not arrived yet. Another interesting fact is that whenever I have tried today to call the Delhi office quoting my complain number the person receiving the call is either disconnecting the phone or keeping me on hold for 15-20 minutes without replying which is simply shocking.

I am feeling really sad saying this that the service and behavior rendered by thecompany personnel is not at all as per a customer's expectations who had high hopes from such a reputed company like Microteck. I was under the impression that Microteck is a respectable and strictly professional company giving importance to its customer satisfaction. However, after this unwanted experience I must say that things are not what they appear to be. It is very hot and humid here and I have elderly people at my home who need continuous power supply for which I bought the product. However I am in deep trouble now as it seems no one is there to listen to my problem.


Until recently I had been using one Microteck 1400 inverter and as I was satisfied I trusted the company. Therefore, never ever I thought this this new purchase of mine will become such a painful business. What has given me most pain is not the fact that the device may be faulty because being electronics goods it can happen. So I did not mind that but the behavior of the personnel is really shocking. Just shocking. I have no other word to describe it. This has turned me from being a staunch Brand Microteck advocate to a bitter and dissatisfying customer who will never ever advice his friends and family to go for the products of the company. Because no one can accept such behavior.
