I am regular traveler by Taxi from Sion to Nana Chowk (August Kranti Maidan). This Morning (June 19, 2009, 0975AM) I took a Taxi (No. MH 01- X-7497) The Taxi Driver was Rash in driving, He drove through two red signals and on the wrong side of the road. Additionaly he overcharged me. When I pointed this out, he was extremely rude and insulting. As a woman traveling alone, I'd definitely want some action taken against this man. Having said that I salute the handful of cabbies who are honest, polite, and tidy! They have proper meters, ask for the exact fare due to them (down to 50p) and even have change to return to you.
black and yellows have lost my patronage for any distance beyond 7km - i hire a Meru or Mega Cab. I use them only for short distances and honestly prefer taking a bus when i can.
